Better late than never: Thank you so much for this kind comment! Sorry, we only now have some time to get back to people! He had a successful operation (as you might have seen in our last video) but is being a terrible patient, trying to do way to much, way too soon! ❤️
Good luck Filipe, you will be so relieved once it's done and happy to get back to work before you know it! Sophie you have been a real trooper, keeping everything going despite your setbacks, wishing you easier days soon
I don’t know how I ended up on your channel, but I’m so glad I did! Your content is incredibly inspiring and has really brightened my day. Keep up the amazing work
As you probably already know the operation went well :) He is very eager to work, so basically a terrible patient. The recovery is being a bit of bumpy ride, but we remain positive ❤️ Thank you for the well wishes!
Ahh thank you for this wonderful comment, sorry for the late reply, just now have some time to write back. Indeed we are blessed that there is great help out there! ❤️
Amazing food as always 😊 Good luck Felipe my daughter had this surgery when she was 13 years old and it will fine just take easy , I know this is the wrong time of the year to have done but your health comes first and Sophie is a strong woman and you always get friends and family to help 😂 ❤
Thank :) ❤️ He is being way to active, but all in all, he is doing well. The recovery is going up and down, but we are confident he will be better soon.
Thank you Scott! It went well (as you probably already saw), only have had a moment now to reply to any comments :) Filipe is on the road of recovery and I am sure he will be fine. But I can't lie it's been a bumpy ride ❤️
good luck Filipe.........i hope your recovery is quick, my warning is that knee operations can be very painful afterwards........my partner and his brother have both said the pain was extreme ..........they recovered nicely though
It is indeed a tricky recovery! Thank you for your kind words. We are noticing it is ups and downs afterwards. But we are positive about the final recovery. Thank you again! ❤️
Hello from B.C., Canada. Just found you guys. We are likeminded folks who’ve been feeding our family with our own organic fruits, berries and vegetables for 40 years. Happy to be the newbie!!
Welcome to our channel, I only now have some more time to reply to comments and just wanted to let you know we appreciate your message, and are happy to hear about your wonderful effort to feed your family with nutritious food! The positive effect of eating food that is grown with love and without chemicals on one's over-all well-being is highly underestimated we find! What climate do you have in BV Canada? ❤️
Thanks for the personal message! To answer your question, we live in Canada’s most western province, British Columbia, in a specific southern region called the Okanagan (named after our 135 km long lake. It’s about a 5 hr. drive east from Vancouver thru a few mountain ranges. We are Zone 4-5 with a growing season from about April to Oct. Very dry region due to the Coastal Mtn range creating a rain shadow. Hot - 30-35C in our summer months. Or hotter. In the last 30 years many fruit trees have been replaced by grapes- nearly 200 licensed grape wineries in our valley, many of which are farmgate. Natural /organic is increasingly evolving🩷 Soft fruits especially cherries, apricots, peaches. Lots of veg. Before the grapes, it’s reputation was Apple orchards but the farmers couldn’t complete with the American competition just across he nearby border. We’re not farmers but it runs deep in our European blood and it nourishes the body and the soul. Looking forward to following you!
Currently on holliday in Faro, but still time to watch your channel. So impressed by your achievements. Can't believe about all the wonderfull products coming out of you garden and after that out of your kitchen. Little bit of Dutch power that makes me proud. I totally understand Filipe, it must be so difficult for you to face your physical problems with so many things going on on the farm and with your family. Good luck tomorrow, no need to be nervous, you got great people around you to give support. You will be back in no time in full strength. Theo
Theo! Bedankt ;) How was Faro? The weather here has been scorching! Filipe is having a hard time being a patient patient :D But please, as a doctor maybe you can tell him that keeping calm is very important for the recovery! He won't always listen to reason... Sending our best wishes ❤️
Tudo bom e mantem me informado. Ohh the heart ache! Hahaha, we just harvested them, wil show that in one of our coming videos for sure. They are much smaller than usual, but they are tasty thankfully! sending our warmest wishes! Did you harvest yours?
@@thefarmingchefs what few there were after the javali went through and uprooted most of them I think will only be good for pickling. But better than nothing at all I guess 🙄Trying to get the house somewhere close to being finished at the moment so I'm wielding a plastering trowel rather than a garden one.
Good luck with your surgery!! Wishing you all the best!
