Like we talked about the other day Matt, I love my 635D, but I've always thought the 747 looked so cool. I wish that I had that electronic counter on mine. Anyway, great video!
Nice decks. Thanx for your other 747 videos.. I got the two tension lever belts replaced on two 747 decks that are on my workbench. They decks belong to a friend and had been sitting for years, but once the tension belts were done the machine started to play/rec just fine. Both decks I worked on had a noise behind the right tension assembly in FF-REW. It turned out to be the spinning strobe disc assembly. You can remove the side panel and stop the strobe disc with your finger to check. I disassembled, greased the shaft and reassembled back in the machine. No noise now. Thanx again for all your videos.
@@FILTRONICS Thanks Brother Franz. I have a good door on another machine. Hope to be able to find someone to make a mold perhaps and ultimately a duplicate.

Great job, Graham. This one has the same aqueeky sound.
Bigg Matt, you will make that sing !
Working hard tonight????
Nice machine. Finding the missing cover could be an issue, however, 3D modeling and printing is pretty easy.
