Evaluate a point of the unit circle for sine, cosine and tangent
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 14 окт 2024
- 👉 Learn how to evaluate the six trigonometric functions of a given angle. When given an angle we locate the angle on the unit circle. Then using the coordinate of the terminal side of the angle on the unit circle and the definitions of the six trigonometric functions, we can then evaluate the six trigonometric functions of sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent, secant, cosecant accordingly.

Your videos on the unit circle have been so helpful! I have a test on the unit circle for my college precalc class today, and I was so stuck until I found your channel!
awesome! just a little work and you got this!
this dude is saving my highschool career lol
This dude is saving my college career lol :)
I didnt know drizzy drake was in high school still
Glad to know someone can actually teach this stuff. My teacher barely showed us how to locate the quadrants for radians and expects us to do all this homework she's never gone over. -.-
that's what I am here for. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you out
@@brianmclogangreat man!
what ive been trying to learn in class for a couple weeks explained in 2 youtube videos 😳 thank you
Damn that class is lucky to have such a great teacher my teacher made this beyond confusing but he makes it so simple

I have a lot of videos, so I hope you can find everything you need. Let me know if there is anything you can't find or if I can help you out in any other way
How to solve if its negative?
This video is an absolute live saver. Thank you so much for explaining this so clearly in such an easy way to understand.
Thank you for posting this helpful video! I love how even 11 years later it is helping someone out.
That would make a big difference. Kudos to you for going back to school and math! I would just google unit circle I cannot send links on youtube comments but I am sure something will pull up. I also have a couple of videos explaining the points on the unit circle if that will help.
This was the clearest tutorial i could find. Thanks Logan.
I have literally been watching your videos every day since school started this year! Thank you so so so so so much!
Perfect! keep my site handy I have plenty of videos for you as well as more to come!

These are great and very easy understand videos. Thank you for uploading them! I am currently in Pre-Calculus and this made me understand everything in more easy to understand method. Thanks again, and best of luck to you and your class!
you’re an amazing teacher. keep it up
it reallly is helpful.. thank u po
Sir,
Thank you very much for that fast response. I haven’t done this kind of math in over 10 years. I’m doing a review before I start Calculus.
So with that said, I don’t have a trig book or the chart. Is there one online I could look up. If so, do you have a link.
Well, Now your comment is 10 years old.
Been quarantined for two weeks and was expected to teach myself the material I was missing, this video helped so much thank you!!
I am in college trig and your videos have saved my life!!
Thank the gods...for your existence...you're much better than my professor.
+TimmyNumNums appreciate it, here to help
Your are literally the most clutch person ever
holy smokes, the pie over 6 hack is crazy. I was trying to memorize it hahaha perfection.
You're videos are very helpful, thank you. But, where did you get three-squared-over-two , one-half from? You just threw that in from prior knowledge, but that's where I'm hung up. Can you refer me to a video for that, please? Thank you
You are a "F""N" Genuis.I am 35 trying to go through college and you are a saviour!!!! I love you. man. Thanks!
Just trying to do my part to help out students like you. Glad to hear you are working hard. Keep it up!
Thanks McLogan. Thanks a Million. And you keep helping us. People need you.
hahaha thank you for the request but right now I am only focusing on videos for my class and then videos I have created for my online classes
Dude you're a literal lifesaver. My precalc teacher uses the "teach yourself completely foreign concepts and if you don't get it right away I'll bitch at you and if you ask questions I'll send you to the office" method so needless to say receiving instruction from her is a lost cause.
I love this man
You make everything as simple as a set of legos. Thank you so much!
so helpful!
thank you!!
knowing the unit circle. You should have one referenced in your book.
sin of 11pi/6 is 0.1, is there something I am missing here?
edit: now I understand, Pi in a unit circle is equal to 180
I don’t understand how you got the values (square root 3/2 , 1/2) as a coordinate or value of pi/6 ? At 3:05
Thank you!
Happy to be there for you
You have to rationalize your denominator, Paul.
Sir can you please explain how you got the coordinate points @ 3:00-3:12? Thanks
this tutorial is amazing no idea why there is a dislike lol
thanks Brendan
you have saved me
ok all great and stuff. But what if we need to calculate the cosinus of a.e 75degrees? Then your method is impossible to use...
how do we know the points
carrying me again this semester.... thanks!!!!!!
3:00 Can someone tell me how did he determine co-ordinates for pi/6? where did that root 3 come from?
could you do a video on how to do problems 53 and 56 on page 300 :) thank you...
What about Cot and Sec and Csc
6:07 lol what was paul doing?
up to no good lmao
This video straight up saved my booty
What???? Where'd you get(√3/2,1/2) from?????
It is the value of π
probably not paying attention haha
u was right i wasnt paying attetion
lol paul 6:06
c’mon Paul
Damn who hurt Paul
he is okay,
good to hear
you are going to heaven
i fucking hate math
this did not help but thanks i guess
Thanks so much. Now that I understand how to use a unit circle correctly I can do well on my trig test tomorrow.
