  • Hardest Difficulty - Give Me God of War GMGOW
This is a detailed walkthrough of what will likely be one of the greatest games of all time, God of War Ragnarok, on the Playstation 5.
A lot of the fat will be trimmed out of the gameplay, but I will be showcasing as much of the lore and story as I can.

Well, this episode is going to be pleasant (sarcasm)
I do love the attention to detail in the environments. It's quite nice.
Hvergi means nowhere. As in the realm, between realms is nowhere. You are literally teleporting to nowhere.
A good attempt at an accent. Nice try.
    Big dog! Best boy!
Maybe angrboda can do the same thing as Brokk and Sindri and just appear from nowhere.
Also, I doubt odin couldn't hear through huginn through a busted up house and a wooden door.
I mean, it was technically more than a hello.
Somewhat smart of Atreus to make a lie like that, but Odin is way too smart for that.
Sif wasn't threatening Atreus, that was a warning, I think.
Thor's hall is not called Black Thunder in the myth, I don't think. I can't really confirm that rn.
This is incredibly depressing, and it really only gets sadder from here.
There had to be a tavern brawl with the best drinker in all the realms. It had to be in the game.
This game definitely makes you feel for Thor and his family. Puts into perspective Odin's abuse.
Note that the scar is still on Thor's stomach. In Gow 2018, when you threw the axe into the lake, it came back with something called Eitr. Eitr is Jormungandr's poison and is supposedly the thing that finally kills Thor after he takes a couple of steps away from the defeated giant serpent and then drops dead.
I guess this game decided he can't heal from unlike everything else, which he just regenerates.
Ivaldi's workshop was the maze that changed every time you entered it, had deadly mist, and you had to run through it a bunch to get some amazing regeneration armor.
Sif speaking like a rational person and trying to warn people of Odin. Thor misinterpreted it. I do wish Thor had a different ending in the story.
Ingrid saved Atreus there. If not, Mjolnir would have hit him.
This story is going to be sad coming up.
Yknow what I sorta just assumed you have gotten resurrection stones. Probably would have helped with the berserkers.
He was right there the whole time. So many signs.
He only blinks with one eye. He's highly secretive. Refers to events he shouldn't know and calls Atreus loki for no reason.
He yells that he has control, but he is in this situation because he has lost control of the situation. He hopes to control everything but can't.
I feel so bad for Sindri. It's a long road down from here. Poor dude. It's just heart-wrenching.
He doesn't even really get his conclusion at the end.
I did also catch it as a theater kid. Just couldn't smile about it with what happened the first time I saw it.
The music playing during the hunting section is Brokk and Sindri's theme. It's more clear in a later scene.
A moment of rare emotional kindness from Kratos. Trying to be a good father.
I'm not crying, you are! Shut up!

I always wondered why he still had that axe wound!
