I cant believe this was the original performance!!! the staging glow up is amazing!! So much better now. If she did the original performance she probably wouldnt make it to the final.
I actually prefer this. Obviously the sound in the Eurovision version is a lot better but I didn’t like the demon and the pentagram in the final version

Wow I won't say this is bad, but it is not very good. Their semi final performance is 10 levels above this, such an amazing improvement.

I watched a recap of all the songs that have been selected in NFs so far and this is the ONLY one I had to look up immediatly. For once, a song that we haven‘t heard a hundred times before. Good luck from🇱🇺, I like this very much.
I wasnt convinced when i heard a clip on the Radio but the whole production is selling me. This could go pretty well tbh. They really need to pull out all the stops on the stage production though. Not a chance will We properly fund this though to give it a real shot.
If you look at recent irish entries there has definitely been budget its just been executed poorly, i think Bambi will be sure to make sure the full package is together

The staging ofcorse was better in eurovision but this is more real witch vibes. Love to hear it this raw. Amazing and thanks Ireland for being openminded and giving us around the world this masterpiece. And after reading the backstory its even more impressive how it was portrayed. Bambie Thug is Broadway level artist, she should be taken seriously

This looks so amateurish. Almost can’t believe it won the national selection when it looked like this - compared to the amazing performance she gave in Malmo that completely blew me away
To be fair it a performance on a talk show and she was given zero budget. Baby Lasagna’s was similar as he kept missing camera shots and not holding the mic properly. But that’s the beauty of watching the national finals as you can watch the artists grow.

You'd have to consider through that while Blood and Glitter definitively stood out for being a Glam Rock/Dark Metal Song, it was honestly quite flawed and repetetive.
I have to say, Lord of the Lost WERE our best Entry in Years, but the Bar was set incredibly low to begin with. Almost all of the Candidates last Year would have been that. What irks me the most about B&G is the Repetetiveness of the Song as it falls into the "Catchy Chorus underwhelming Verses"-Trap with the Choruses taking up an overwhelming Portion of the Song. There is also the Performance to consider which was not truly crafted to amaze the TV Audiences.
But honestly, B&G beibg not as strong as a Song itself is not surprising since it was based around a Photobook and that Photobook's Concept. B&G sounds like an Introduction to a Work/a broader Concept, but fails to excel on it's own.
This Song can and will stand out by itself. And with Bambie Thug as Artist I'm also sure this will stand out visually as well. I wanna see her shatter a Window or something when the 1st "I-I-I know you're living a Lie" (Pre-Chorus? Chorus?) Part hits.

A lot better than the first performance. It took a bit of time, but listening to the studio version definitely made me appreciate the song a lot more. So far, it’s currently behind Ukraine and Norway for my top 3 songs! I really hope that this will be Ireland’s year of finally making it past the semi finals!
