badass, man. I'm 23 and haven't been in the pool since highschool. Just signed up on the Masters website and am going to my first practice tomorrow at a pool a couple miles away. Wish me luck
Congratulations.. I just started back after 37 years. Been practicing about 3 months and entered a meet two weeks ago. I entered 4 individual events and 3 relays. Got 1st in 25 breast, 50 breast and 50 free. 3rd in 25 free. It feels really good to get back in competition. By the way, I'm 62. It's just a number...
Too funny … What perfect timing… I needed this… I’ve been off for months now! Small shoulder injury and Life gets in the way sometimes… thank you for checking the video out … 😊
I never swam in competition. Basically as a kid I hit the pool daily. Got into other sports. Now as a 59 year old I hurt when lifting. So I got in the pool. Feels great. Hopefully I'll enter a masters in a couple years. I have a long way to go
@@yoshit9819 67 years old and just new to swimming . Using my swim pro app and I am scared nervous and thrilled ! Hope to make it to the final 8 in 70 years old NATS for the mile 2.5 years and if I make it great if not then I will just be a 70 year old stud on the deck ! Lets go boys let's go !
Great video. I like to train a bit harder. 1000 meters each day train 6days / week. Plus 2 hours gym each day. I have set my goals very high. Personally, spiritually and swimmer elite and more
You don't say how old you are.... I am 70 and picked up swimming again to get ready for bilateral hip and one knee replacement. I used to watch My Swim Pro, but think Swim Skills NT and Race Club are better. I did get down to 37 or so for a 50 free, and 38 or so for a 50 over arm side stroke, my favorite stroke, in part because no one else swims it... Oh, I was pushing off the side of the pool rather than a dive in. Keep up the good work. Pools are closed now, so I am biking and hiking. I like hills....
Hi, man its all over the map for times so i wouldnt even think twice about it they ask you for your estimated time so they can put you in the heat that best matches just to make it a good challenge but so much much fun for sure worth every second of the effort put in. Hope that helps

Lane 5 does the same back to breast style turn as I do; I'm not the only swimmer who uses a turn you'd find in a museum 🙂
Was a backstroker in high school so been through many iterations of that, turn myself :)
I too just started w Masters swimming ... Congratulations on your accomplishment !
You as well’ so much fun :)
