Thank you so much for posting this video. I could not get my homing switch wires to go all the way through the drag chains - I thought I was missing something.
Came across your video today. I think MillRight heard you and/or others. The wires that just came with mine are now long enough to make it out of the drag change and it appears to be shielded.
I was using Fusion360 for a while. Haven't been using anything lately but when I start back up I will be looking at CarveCo Maker. Thanks for watching!
If you are buying it by the foot, it's so cheap you could get plenty. I haven't measured how much I have and it depends on how far you want to put your control box but I would get 20 feet or so to be safe I guess. You would probably have enough left over for a touch plate too!
I would have liked to been able to see which wire, went to which connection on the limit switches!!!
Great, informative video, tho! Thanks...

Do you use 18 gauge copper or silver shielded wire? The copper is for electrical current, and silver is for switches. Which did you use?
Hey thanks for watching!
I used silver wire when I replaced the homing switch wires!
Thanks. Be nice how much wire to buy. If you could take some measurements be very helpful
I would get at least 35' to be safe. More if you keep your control box further away.
Are you using Vcarve or did you decide on another software?

How many feet do you think would be enough to replace all the wires ?
