- Meet the cast of Peacock’s new series, ‘One Of Us Is Lying,’: Marianly Tejada (as Bronwyn), Cooper van Grootel (as Nate), Annalisa Cochrane (as Addy), Chibuikem Uche (as Cooper), Jessica McLeod (as Janae), Barrett Carnahan (as Jake), Melissa Collazo (as Maeve), and Mark McKenna (as Simon).
Based on the New York Times best-selling novel by Karen M. McManus, the ‘One Of Us Is Lying,’ series tells the story of what happens when five high schoolers walk into detention and only four make it out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide!
‘One of Us Is Lying’ is produced by UCP (a division of Universal Studio Group.) Darío Madrona serves as showrunner and executive producer.

As someone who has read the book before this show came out, I gotta say I am pretty satisfied with how it’s turning out so far. I hope it gets renewed for a 2nd season. Fingers crossed!

Yeah, that's what I compared it to when I first started watching it! By the way, it is on Netflix now and hopes that it becomes a hit so that we can have more seasons! The show also reminds me of Gossip Girl / Pretty Little Liars!

I’m so happy to see one of my favorite books become a tv show! Karen McManus is my favorite author! I’m loving the show through the first 3 episodes! It’s like seeing the book showed down with more time to flesh things out!

I canr believe it took me till episode 6 to realize that 6 people where in the library when simon died and the person who told him to drink frpm.the fountain was never even considered a suspect and she had a whole secret as well

I am obsessed with this book, however, not too thrilled with the casting to be honest. Just my opinion, I'm sure they're great people and great actors. I haven't watched the show, I was just curious to see the actors playing the characters.

Why are they all so old? these are supposed to be teenagers and all of them look like (and probably are) in their late twenties. I hate this type of casting, if this was on netflix with actual teenagers it could get stranger things type/level of hype

IKR they could’ve had a mixed person being a mixed Hispanic I was so excited to think that she could be played by a mixed person so that people would get it. Cause people always get my race wrong cause of my eyes and light skin tone
