First , as usual. The video I have been waiting for!!
Part one of the videos you been waiting for ?
@@Groundeffected no, I only want to watch part oneb
I enjoy each video of the series! I need brush control, hands aren't steady as they used to be! Painting eyes is a thing of the past....
and now im here, thanks bro for the tips
Great video Brent! Good hints and tips. 👍
Exactly the type of video I need. Really looking forward to next ones in series. Great tutorial
Hope it helps my dude. Thank you for watching as usual.
Another great video for those just starting but also an excellent reminder to those who've been painting for a while as we tend to get hung up on other details and sometimes forget the important basics.
I’m glad you appreciated it my dude. Thanks for watching!
Great video Brent
Thank you
Almost first... Been looking forward to this one as well.
I think you will like this series.
@@Groundeffected yes, yes I will
Great video man. That flow improver is now a must for todays shopping. Keep up the good work brother and can’t wait to see what’s next in this series 👊🏼
Flow improver is like father to me. Nah for real though I use it when I need the paint to flow better but mostly I use water. Although every mode has a part that needs better flowing paint. Mainly I use this for suit lines or eyes
“Tell your wife you won them in a raffle”! I do that all the time! Great video! I know im guilty of overloading my brush!
Lol. Thems the rules. Also loading your brush with paint out the pit will go less further than thinning it and even further if you thin with airbrush or thinning medium.
Thanks!
Excellent thanks
You do excellent work man. Could you do a detailed session on doing glazing?
Thank you. I have done a video on glazes it’s one of my first videos. It’s not too in depth but does explain it a fair amount. Although it will probably come up in the new brush control series at some point too
Sweet!!!!
🎉 thanks
Love the "I had to use a whole new sheet of paper for my wet pallet for that, they better have bloody liked it" Dont worry it was liked :)
Lol. We on a tight budget haha 😂
Excellent video and series going forward, helping beginners with intro on fundementals and even advance painters could learn something. Thanks 👍🏻
Heck yea. Hope this one’s gonna be a good help.
Can’t wait to see the rest in this series!
I’m hoping it’s gonna be epic!!
Great video again man. Can’t wait for the rest of this series.
Thanks dude. Hoping it will turn out good. It’s a tough subject to tackle.
great tutorial mate!.
d.
Nice one man, looking forward to seeing the rest of this series. I've just picked up a little ebay bargain on a Cotman set of 0, 0000, 1 & 6 for £12.60! Looks like they'll come in handy in following the series 😆
That’s perfect. It’s like it was meant to be!!
Great video. looking forward to more in the series. Thanks for sharing
Thanks dude. I hope the series works out for everyone
omg ty i know now why my paint doesnt flow
wish i knew this a dat earlier lol
Hey, Dad, thanks for the videos. I am really grateful for these as I am breaking into this hobby. Are you still using this brand of paintbrushes in 2024? Just curious. I thought the first set I bought looked nice, but I'm starting to have my doubts. Gratitude!
I have since moved on. They were good enough back then but now I use expo tools sable hair brushes. From my store they are a similar price
Great video! Should have started here before some paint projects I did :/
When you show the 4 brushes you use, what sizes are those?
00 , 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 are the sizes I use.
Hmm being new to all this, it seems that everyone uses a wet pallet. When should you use it and when don't you need it? Or is it based on the quality of the paint?
In my opinion since I found out about a wet pallet I’ve never not used one. There is a video about them on my channel I hope that explains it well enough. I’m still trying to learn how to portray info over video so forgive me if it’s not enough info and feel free to ask any questions
Glad i found this video. How much water to add tho? Lol
That’s a feel. Just test on some scrap and over time you’ll get a feel for it. There is not exact answer because each paint and each brand has a different amount.
Do you have to primer the item first? And can you prime with the brush?
Primer helps the consecutive layers of paint stick better to the model. And you can brush primer on
