What inspires me when singing this song? Here's my story. I lost my mother to cancer when I was eight years old and whenever I perform "Never Get To Heaven" she is on my mind. The scene in PLL is very close to my heart since I can relate to what Ali and Jason's characters are going through. I miss my mom very much but I'm incredibly lucky that my dad remarried years later to the most amazing woman :)

My mom died of cancer when I was eleven (24 years old now). I've now spent more than half of my life without her. Even though I know she's in a better place, there is always that part of me that wishes she were still here. But, I always tell myself whenever I have a show or performance, at least I always have one person in the audience, because I know she's listening.
I lost my mother to breast cancer when i was 6. im 16 now and im still trying to cope with it. Sometimes i cry myself to sleep. Sometimes i feel like i dont want to continue life bc i didnt ask to be here and its like i have nobody. I feel like i was deprived from my childhood. Although, my mother wasnt the greatest she was trying to keep a roof over our head and food in our mouths. We went from abandoned houses to homeless shelters ect. i just wish i had a regular childhood.
I'm here because of Pll. I found so many beautiful songs because of that show.

I lost my sister and mom in a car accident five years ago when they were on their way to my second grade school recital and when I was there I thought they were just late, but then three hours later my dad told me they both died and I lost it. I didn't talk to anyone for six months after. Today is exactly five days since the accident and I skipped school just to stay home and cry with this amazing song on replay. This song got me through today and I miss my sister who would be 12 in two months and 3 days and my mom who kissed me to sleep every night and helped me with everything. I wished that I told them how much I loved them it wasn't supposed to happen, but that is life. PLEASE LOVE YOUR FAMILY WHILE YOU HAVE THEM!

I think it because the song is so realatable theres not gurantee that we would go to heaven no matter who we are. We coild be a pastor or a murderer. Everyone has the same chance. But even if we are left behind we that someone will stay behind with us and continue to love us. At least thats my interpetation of the song.

Literally the second this song started to play I was going crazy trying to figure out what artist this was from. It's absolutely beautiful, the lyrics everything is just so tender and touching. I definitely found a new artist to support!

Let's have a discussion! Who do you guys think killed Mrs. D? My theory is Melissa and/or Mr. Hastings. Mrs. D. could have threatened to reveal who the dead girl in Ali's grave was, and they needed to keep her permanently quiet. OR I am conflicted on whether Ali's expression at the end was sorrow or a little bit of a smirk. Please tell me I'm not the only one who saw that...

Theres something that is making me think that isn't Ali, I don't know why, there was a few things through the second half of the episode that seemed a bit odd. Also, I have re-listened over and over again - the part where Ali is in her room and holding her doll when her Dad comes in to talk, as he goes to leave he explains how him and Mrs D are getting a divorce blah blah... And I am so sure that Ali replied with "I know, Ali told me" - I'm so sure I'm head "ALI TOLD ME" it doesn't sound like Aria or anything else, but might not be a good quality but I'm so sure..... Any one help me out on that?!
Jenny Hounslow Hmmm, Ali is a very complex character. For all we know, she may have a multiple personality disorder or other type of psychotic issue that makes her seem like different people.

Song was perfect. Shows that A isn't finished making all their lives hell as well as the tragic death. Poor Jason...his father hates him and the only one who supported him was his mother. Poor Ali..just when she thought it was safe as well as Aria,Hanna,Spencer,and Emily.

This is the most sincere and catchy song this year.
