Fendt 800 series is great for fert spreading with its high payload capacity, I drive an 822 for a fert company here in Australia, lacks a bit in HP but the weight of the tractor is great, especially in the hills for traction. We do run a fairly heavy stainless linkage spreader on it that would be too big for a 700 and we’re actually going to be replacing it with a new gen 7 930 as we just need more power and weight. Looked into the new 700 gen 7 and it’s just not big enough.
Yes, they do seem to be more and more used on a fert spreader these days, same with this one would be too heavy for the 720s they run as well especially with 4 or more bags in.
