This may sound stupid but could you do a video on how important/effective doctrines actually are? Aside from the special ones like bracing stuns units or something, I just can’t wrap my head around how +80 slashing armor penetration actually changes anything and how a blue version is so much better than a green even tho it’s only like a 10-15 point increase. Or, for another example, how +250 health (green) is different from +300 (blue). Idk maybe I’m the only one who wonders this but I’ve always been baffled by how semi useless all the non-epic doctrines are
I think when it comes to those sorts of doctrines there really isn't to much difference. But when you get a good one from the doctrine Alchemy, than you will start seeing a difference. But yes I like the idea, as soon as we get a free doctrine swap event il make a video 😊
I’m a returning player from way back in the closed beta days I left shortly after man at arms and spear Sgt were released and I will say learning the new systems and doctrines in units. It’s a lot to take in and so much time. I been grinding for the seasonal units but damn it’s not easy since everything I knew back then has just completely changed.
keep at it, you can still do well with those units tbh, some are better then others but men at arms and spear sgts got a buff awhile ago and u can get the mace sargeants very easily
Interesting video. One problem beginning players, particularly more casual players, often struggle with is having enough bronze to replace unit kits, particularly for high-tier units. I'd be interested in seeing a video where you pick a warband with units that are purple and below.
@@chadthundercheeks4242 I remember when I unlocked my first gold cav unit. When I tried using it regular sieges, while I got very good scores and did OK with them (have never been a great cav player), and the cost of running them in territory wars, I would often run out of bronze. Maybe if you're not doing Territory Wars 2x per week, it's more affordable.
For dagger axe lancers.. I use only cover commander/get back to hero instead of charge.. I kinda get lucky and do get 30+kills most of the time with a flank or back charge.. Their charge skill doesn't do much as of my experience..
Gold cav this season is stupidly fcking op and it really annoy they clear almost everything in their path no downside they can even charge headon into a fcking longpike unit brace and kill them all plus the hero Every fcking time when season about china unit come it alway insane bias op shit
I think, if you are a bit Lucky whit leadership, you can use: imp shields(hard meta) axedagger cavs (2nd or 3° best cav) maceman AND blue halbs or Green pikes. But the IR opción might be good the patch because they got buffed, but not now
don't get me wrong, i recently discovered your channel and i'm enjoying your content a lot, however the issue i have with these type of videos is that a newer player will never have all those units maxed out, and certainly not have access to this kind of doctrines, so the point is kind of moot ! was fun to watch nonetheless !
A solid and fun run to watch as usual. May I ask why you dont use cover commander on the Mace Sergeants? I kinda like CC them into units so as many of them are hitting and stunning with 2 when used. I like to save 1 until after 2 is done for another 30% heal.
Great video! how about the opposite with a twist? you select a season, and in X battles you only use units from that season? (as someone who didnt play that much with the game yet idk how good of an idea is that)
Very happy to see you on db, i just went back for db also and i am loving it! Can u maybe do a updated guide on db? what u running atm? great video as always! take care!

Honor tree purple spear and pike units still super strong.

I love my jav sergeants. They’ve been my favorite unit for years now
You should make a video of your nephew playing .

Its nice to see you using db again ❤❤❤😮😮 also great video aswell
Glad you like it
i also treb trash units because i would likely need a challenge XD
how can I get mace sergeants on the old account?
how to get outdone by a longsword that did nothing but spam heal.
Dual blades is more annoying then good
True

honnestly running imp spears, im pikes and imp arqs works pretty well aswell
Even as a mid tier player I use maxed out imp shield maa and kreigstar all maxed out mastery
Halb sergeants are good. Also u didn't meet yolo cav

i love that idea! thanks dude!
Surprised you’re playing as dual blades now instead of short bow 😮
Would play chain dart but I'm not a huge fan of it. Not stopping short, just having some time apart 😅
I have a question. What is your favorite attire set?
I have a few favourites, but I really like to grab a bit from a few different sets and see if I can make it work.
Reapers will be viable after their upcoming buff, maybe
What’s the op on spear sergeants and man at arms?

Yes of course! Let me get a few days of testing things out, but definitely will 😊
I havent played since they locked purples and up but id have to imagine that halberds would be very good in a meta favoring imp shields
They can be pretty good, but it definitely helps if you play a weapon class that can break the shield Formation just as they hit yours halberd.
