Without a shadow or a doubt revenge of the sith for me. As a kid I watched Star Wars films all the time but new hope was always my least favorite for a while. Even with the originals, I preferred empire or return of the Jedi. Revenge of the sith was my first Star Wars film in cinema. The booming opening! The most epic thrill ride I had as a kid. I was ten years old. Perhaps my favorite memory in theaters🥲. It is Shakespeare, Macbeth and Greek mythology via George Lucas’s mind. A dark story. A real war. The heartbreak. The relatability of Anakin feeling lost. It was also probably my first pg-13 film. Anakin burning up scared me as a kid and was watching through my fingers.
Whether you pick LOTR or POTC, either way you'll keep Orlando Bloom. I'm picking LOTR because I prefer the "They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard" song over the "Why's the rum gone" song. And because I LOTR is the better franchise, ofcourse.
Uh, one is a literary AND cinematic masterpiece and probably the greatest epic in the history of cinema. The other, based on a ride at Disney World. Not even close.
Lotr.
Next question.

LOTR by a mile. Pirates is so overrated.

Revenge of the Sith over A New Hope. A New Hope is classic but the fight scenes in Revenge is epic.
Pirates
Pirates with Jack Sparrow.

Agreed.
Lotr, sorry pirates, but lotr childhood
Easily, Two Towers.
I really don't like Pirates of the Carribean. Lord of the Rings all the way
LOTR better franchise, Black Pearl better film then any of them.
Easy. Pirates. Even Harry Potter over LOTR
Pirates duh.
Lotr is damn overrated
