you must update this compilation because during 127 cb with sticker/lemonade and favorite, haechan really kicked a**,, not only on his vocals but on his dance as well. main dancer haechan should be put next to his main vocal title. sm really can't stop him from building his brand. also, idk if it is due to their promotions in u.s. and the regular cb, but it really made an impact on his career. after that sm gave him more lines in 127 and a bit of a kiling part in the choreo. also i am sooo mad too about the change in the choreo for hello future. pretty sure some people will say that the placement change was because he can't always promote with the dreamies so they changed it for better transition when he is promoting with 127. must be their reason too for his placement in 127.

I’ve noticed that most naturally gifted singers and musicians are usually great dancers. I’m guessing it’s that natural sense of rhythm. You see the same thing with Exo’s Baekhyun, Shinee’s Taemin, Ten and just about all of Seventeen’s members but especially with Woozi and Dokyeom. Dancing and singing seems very second nature to them and even if they aren’t the most skilled or polished dancers on the team, they are usually some of the most natural ones
Haechan said he grew up adoring Shinee and honestly I see so much of them in his performance. He looks like one of the few people that's just confident with the choreography that he's just comfortable with it, so he can play, he doesn't have to really think about it anymore. I always wonder how much he practices and dances (considering he also knows basically everyone's dances). He also really wants to be a professional performer. He tries to play when performing. And it reminds me of old shinee a lot. I also noticed when they record the practice versions he's the only one trying to keep eye contact with the camera. You can kinda see the others looking at the mirror and interacting with the cam when it's their turn. Haechan will be walking to a formation change in the back and give a side eye to the cam.
He just has this effortless swagger that fits perfectly with his voice! I don’t see enough people praising Haechan for all of the work he puts in to perfect every part of his performance.
Omg I can't believe this ! I'm in the middle of writing a whole script, learning how to make videos and gathering footage to basically make the same video. Our minds are one at this point. I just wish people would recognise how crazily talented this man is and how it's juste the beginning of it. His angles and lines are just so lovely to watch. Your eyes naturally get glued to him. Yes, some parts he may not be as strong as others but he just makes everything seem so effortless. i'm a dancer and even though not everyone agrees with me, after Ten, Jisung, Shotaro [ i also love Mark and Taeyong but i feel like they don't always shine the most when it's not hiphop for mark and popping for taeyong but still when they dance those genres they really do an amazing job], Haechan is in my opinion the best dancer in NCT. Actually i got into nct because i watched Make a Wish and i loved Shotaro's dancing and also i watched Kick It and Haechan really did so so well. Basically after that i just watched a lot of nct and he is my bias from the beginning hahaha. But really i don't know why he doesn't have at least lead dancer position... he never misses a beat, he's very detailed, never looks awkward (even though some nct choreos are weird), he just has so much swag when he dances that he really makes people want to look at him. Anyone can see that he has worked really hard to be at the level he is now because when he started his dancing was not even close to what it is now, he definitely got a lot better. I also love how he makes the choreos his own because he adds something new to them and makes them better. Maybe it's because my style is more towards hiphop but i just love how smooth he is and how he doesn't overdance. The only reason why he's not as good as Jisung for example is because Jisung has more technique but still Haechan shines a lot and even his footwork is really good. I wish he was given the attention he deserves (honestly any of the members that i refered in this comment deserve more attention cause they are really talented and all nct members are talented and deserve more apreciation)
That's exactly what I'm thinking! Mark and Taeyong are great dancers that receive a lot of praise because a lot of nct127's choreos match their style, but they do fall off in different genres outside of their comfort zone. Haechan on the other hand has always been extremely versatile. He especially stands out in NCT dream choreos as these have less of a hip-hop focus and is therefore not outshined by Mark. I also think that he has had one of the greatest improvements in his dancing. Basically from good to great. I also contribute this to him growing up. He matured which shows in his confidence and dance style. He basically looks like a whole new person in more recent choreos like AY-YO. However outside of that I would love to see him do more elegant choreos. I would love to see him dance move by Taemin or Perfume by NCT DoJaeJung. That would really match his lines.

As a dancer, I’d say that “get-up” move from superhuman and mfal is relatively easy to do but hard to make look good and he pulls it off so well every time. He really is not just a good idol dancer but just a good dancer
i think haechan has the same vibe as Super Junior's Eunhyuk when dancing. as long as i've been following Kpop since 2012, my opinion Eunhyuk is a very distinctive dancer, and i haven't found anyone like Eunhyuk, but when i see haechan dancing, i feel there is a similar vibe between them.

I am a dancer, and I’m about to graduate college with a degree in musical theatre, so I sing and act as well. Haechan is a bias of mine in NCT, and he’s always stood out to me as an exceptional performer in the group. Perhaps if you get down to the nitty-gritty, a member like Yuta may have more dance technique, Ten has all this training, but Haechan is still a great dancer, AND he has this stage presence that is out of this world. He knows when he doesn’t have to do a lot, he’s got The Voice, he’s an efficient dancer, as so eloquently put by a video before me, he always sings every single one of his ad libs live, and he’s got HOPS, like he always be jumpin’.

his jump in superhuman 8:08 is srsly so awesome! its similar to the axel jump in figure skating (more on the waltz jump since its only half a revolution) which makes me think that learning figure skating would be such a piece of cake for hyuck! he learnt other types of dances, which adds up to hae as figure skater UGHH i just love this man so much

We're the same in the regular dance practice focus getting us into the Haechan main dancer agenda. He is literally a hardworking genius idol that knows how to and constantly works hard to better himself. He doesn't stop working hard just because he's famous now, but he is trying to soar even higher, not just his singing but also dancing. I really hope SM gives him more solo/group activities that let him shine, and i sincerely hope for his solo debut in the years to come.

Fun fact: When I first started to stan NCT I only knew about Haechan from all the behind the scenes stuff and funny compilations of the boys and he was low-key my least favorite because he was just so annoying lmao BUT NOW he's on my top 5 bias list and has a high potential of becoming my ult. He just has such a unique energy and his performances seem incredibly authentic (I'm sure all the other guys are authentic with their performances as well but Haechan just has his way of showing that so flawlessly). I really love this style of dancing! 💖 That's why I love him so much!! Another idol that dances this way is itzy ryujin (not to make any issues, just stating facts). It's very elegant, smooth and full of swag. They use their joints more often (putting effort on every corner of their bodies for the other parts to follow). They love small isolations and big movements. So much core and control (in a good way).... They also know how to use their energy (when to give it all and when to just chill)... It looks easy to do but there's more to it than we think that's why I appreciate it so much. (sorry for the wrong grammar)

his dance style and stage presence really gets me. like the way he moves is so pleasing and satisfying. but especially his facial expressions while dancing which makes him look like hes dancing effortlessly. haechan has to be one of my favorite idols, easily top 10. he has the vocals, the stage presence, the visuals, the wits and jokes, everything an idol should.

okaY im not a dancer either but i think the term you were looking for repeatedly in the video is dynamics!! it has to do with how they hit the moves and energy distribution which he is absolutely fantastic at.
on another note haechan really the only one who can be running across the stage like that and doing all the tricks like he stays so energetic when he's dancing. never over or underdancing.

I am a dancer, and I’m about to graduate college with a degree in musical theatre, so I sing and act as well. Haechan is a bias of mine in NCT, and he’s always stood out to me as an exceptional performer in the group. Perhaps if you get down to the nitty-gritty, a member like Yuta may have more dance technique, Ten has all this training, but Haechan is still a great dancer, AND he has this stage presence that is out of this world. He knows when he doesn’t have to do a lot, he’s got The Voice, he’s an efficient dancer, as so eloquently put by a video before me, he always sings every single one of his ad libs live, and he’s got HOPS, like he always be jumpin’.

He is literally a hardworking genius idol that knows how to and constantly works hard to better himself.
He doesn't stop working hard just because he's famous now, but he is trying to soar even higher, not just his singing but also dancing.
I really hope SM gives him more solo/group activities that let him shine, and i sincerely hope for his solo debut in the years to come.

Fun fact: When I first started to stan NCT I only knew about Haechan from all the behind the scenes stuff and funny compilations of the boys and he was low-key my least favorite because he was just so annoying lmao BUT NOW he's on my top 5 bias list and has a high potential of becoming my ult. He just has such a unique energy and his performances seem incredibly authentic (I'm sure all the other guys are authentic with their performances as well but Haechan just has his way of showing that so flawlessly). I also love his frat boy energy but combined with his elegancy it just does something to you. His dancing is, well - you just summarized it in this video perfectly. But also his unique vocals are to die for. I can't believe how much I disliked him at first because he is such a cool dude!

I really love this style of dancing! 💖 That's why I love him so much!! Another idol that dances this way is itzy ryujin (not to make any issues, just stating facts). It's very elegant, smooth and full of swag. They use their joints more often (putting effort on every corner of their bodies for the other parts to follow). They love small isolations and big movements. So much core and control (in a good way).... They also know how to use their energy (when to give it all and when to just chill)... It looks easy to do but there's more to it than we think that's why I appreciate it so much.
