I've seen a lot of requests for this game, but I only got it recently during the Steam sale. At least I can make it on the highest difficulty, which was added about a month ago. For a bullet hell, this game is very mild, although some bosses on Hardcore can still be the pain in the ass. The soundtrack is amazing, but unfortunately all the songs are copyrighted, which means I will earn absolutely nothing from this video. I was thinking about making another video for this game with the rest of the non-boss stages included, but I'm not sure. That's something I'll decide later. Meanwhile, enjoy some good music.
Gellot I think Hardcore could really be tough if it nerfed the dash, I think most stuff would still be doable with less leeway on the dashes, or even just a higher cool down period between dashes

I used to play Just Shapes & Beats till I got an S on every level. Then played again to S rank every level again when Hardcore came out. That was a while back. I just found out Gellot uploaded this video. At first, I thought I got all S rank before Gellot did. (I didn't even think that was possible) I decided to check the date from the last time I played Just Shapes & Beats LAST PLAYED 7/2/2019 That's the SAME bloody DATE when this video was published! HOW!?! WHAT THE?? *WHAT*!
I know it would probably be waaay too expensive but it would be cool to see something like this with super recognizable music. like fighting a boss to, say, ghosts n stuff or levels would kick ass
How are the levels different from their normal versions? Is it just more complicated bullet patterns / larger objects to avoid? Compared to normal it seems like there's a lot less space in Close To Me for you to use during the attacks, but I'm not sure about the rest.

gellot's usual style is just all bosses, not levels. besides, in the comment they left, they said this video will be copyright-struck, so they did all of this effort for no ad revenue, which is already very kind of them, considering the skill that goes into this. they also mentioned in their comment that they may make a follow-up video with all levels. cant you just be grateful for this?

The last boss is basically an interactive cutscene. You actually can't be killed in that fight.
