And a real demonstration of Chloe’s *COURAGE.* She admits that she’s *_TERRIFIED,_* yet she visits Lucifer … *ALONE!* in a secluded location! She could have called him on the phone, or visited with an armed officer. And _”out of uniform”_ (her ubiquitous ponytail)! I’m not sure what Chloe’s last opportunity to fix things with Lucifer would have been… Maybe when Lucifer asked Chloe if she had told anyone? Probably. Even in the penthouse - think back to 4x01 - Lucifer was so willing to be *PATIENT* and *UNDERSTANDING* with Chloe when the spoke at the piano. If Chloe had just apologized and *_BEGGED_* for forgiveness and patience, even after Lucifer said _”Then I have my answer”!_ But even then - can you imagine anyone else betraying Lucifer like that without some of Lucifer’s trademark *PUNISHMENT?* (OK, maybe Maze in Season 3 … ) But, let’s not rush things… Character growth takes time!
