      Can't find the link to source file for this video. There is a link to full Fitma design file, but I was looking for the link to source file for this specific video

      I agree, I have no idea how she did the secondary button - was that manual or did she use Figma to create the opposite?

      Totally agree!!! It's like watching a 'how-to bake an apple pie' video and having a fully baked pie in your hand. I would like to follow along with the recipe, not have the final product in my hand while you tell me what it's made of. How did they think this would be helpful?

    Can a style include both color for the fill and a different color for the stroke, a specific font font color etc.?

    • @Figma
      @Figma  3 года назад

      Hey EPSTomcat, color styles are independent of the property. You can create any number of color styles, and then always apply them to independent properties like strokes and fills. Text styles for your fonts are also separate. This means you can create a text layer and apply three unique styles: one for fill color, one for the stroke color, and another for the text itself.

    How does one save opacity image overlays as a style? For example, all our product is images need to have a vignette overlay… How does one save this as a style? Thank you.

      You can create a "Color" style based on a image, and have the opacity set in the style's property. For that to work, you need to have a shape that has a fill of a image.

    Little confused on why when i change the fill it acts as a background when there a option to change the background it doesn't act as the background even after i detach them (Text and Shape)

    Does anyone know how to italicize text within Figma? I'm trying to recreate the "No Style applied" text featured in this tutorial

    • @trippellol
      @trippellol 4 года назад

      You can use cmd+i on mac, ctrl+i on Windows. It does require the font to have an italic weight, though :)

      Hi Heather, the full design file is available in the description. However, it's not a simplified version containing only these components.

    Is there a way to define the same palettes (set of styles) for different brands? Let say for one you have PRIMARY_COLOR=BLUE, but for second PRIMARY_COLOR=PURPLE? And you can switch between them for one designed screen? Please help...
