shimbol wireless hdmi transmitter and receiver - Кино
Update! So I did a latency test without the iPad and going straight into the Ninja V, and it’s slightly better. Maybe just less than half a second better. Just thought I’d let ya’ll know! 🤞🏾
And for clarity, that “screen tearing” thing seems to be something caused by my iPad setup, and not the transmitter/receiver.
Would you say it's usable for focus pulling in a pinch? And can you shoot 4k and still output the image with this?
@@paperstacksfilms I’d say yes if you connect it to a monitor and not the iPad
@@Mielz awesome. Totally picking this up
Dude that’s awesome. Thanks for the review! You explain things really well!
I appreciate that!
Good stuff! I love how you had the live feed in the background while sharing your thoughts, super helpful. Stoked to see one of these at such an accessible price, but also good to know that the latency is still a bit too much for me at the moment 😂
Also, I think "screen tearing" is what you're describing around the 5:00 mark!
Appreciate you! & lmao I knew there was a name for it. I couldn’t think of it though 😂
Thanks for the review man
I just picked up a Shimbol, thanks. Can you provide a link to the adapter that you connected the hdmi to your usbc iPad please?
Yeah sure, it’s this one

And what’s the app you use to see the signal? Thanks!
Check out my video I did on using your iPad as a monitor. I go through everything:

My big question, can you shoot in 4k and atill output the signal using these? Will it just send out a 1080p inage?
Yes, it’ll just output 1080p
hello i have the same gear and i downloaded the monitor app you said but i have a straight cable which 1 side HDMI and the other side type C directly to my ipad and i dont have any signal , can show me how to connect the shimbol with each other and help me fix my problem
plz
You probably should try the HDMI to USB Type C adapter that I use
@@Mielz well that make a different?
I’m not sure but that’s the only thing I can think to try if you have everything else
@@Mielz thank you for the fast response, i will try to do that , i am using my canon r6 just let you know , maybe it cant work with my camera idk , and how to connect the transmitters to each other ..
@@Mielz i did try HDMI TO HDMI with my desktop and it worked perfectly, so i think i should buy the adapter.. although i cant understand the difference but yeah .. thanks anyway
