Story: A story about a vampire who is also a bounty hunter. He is extremely skilled in his job and never failed. One day, he got a contract for a female vampire from one of the big families. When he investigates his target, to his surprise, he finds out that she is from a family of assassins, and she also has a contract on him. This was the start of a deadly game of hide and seek for both of them. For a whole year, they tried to take down each other. They use every traps and every hunting trick they know. Also, their roles in these hide-and-seek games change constantly. Many times, one of them was close to success in their hunt, but the other one was able to escape. This long game brings them a lot of fun. The thrill of hunting, the chance to try their skills against an equally skilled opponent was more they can dream of in their immortal lives. There were many times that they thought how good it would be if this deadly game lasted forever only to realize that the game without ending would soon lose its taste. So, finally, one night on the rooftop of an abandoned warehouse, they meet one last time. They both look in each other's eyes and know that this night will be the last. No more hide and seek, no more traps or tricks. Simple duel till the end. His sword and her saber clashed for hours, breaking the silence of the night with the song of battle. Every attack was perfect and deadly, but always met equally perfect defense. They moved around each other looking for any gap, any advantage, any chance, but there were none. They look like they are dancing in the moonlight. Their immortal vampire bodies did not feel tired. There was only a deadly dance and the joy that flowed from it. But everything has its end. One of his blades finally finds a gap in her defense. A sharp blade pierced her body, splattering red blood over the rooftop. She lets go of her saber, stumbled and almost fell, but he grabbed her before that. She smiled when he look at her, and with silent request in her eyes she present him her neck. He understood and accepted it. His fang bit into her neck, her sweet blood made his head spin, and then memories in her blood started to flood his mind. In that brief moment, they became one. He felt her emotions, her joy in this hunt, even though she lost. He felt like part of her skills and experience started coursing through his veins and mind, a gift to the winner. When he finally came back to his senses, she was already gone and her ageless body started to turn to ash. But her smile was still visible for one last moment. He spent the rest of that night on the rooftop with her saber in his hand. A small token of this hunt and what it means to both of them. He still felt her presence as her blood mixed with his and hoped that this state would be forever. This way she will still live with him and maybe both of them will be able to enjoy another hunt together.
