I also faced same Issue with my TUV and git stuck in peak traffic underpass. Issue got resolved after master cylinder replacement. Top many problem with TUV I got replaced BMS 2 times, fuel assembly, water pump, master cylinder. TUV was not getting started if ignition off in traffic or higher gear. If you try to start whole vehicle gets heavy vibration. Finally Issue got resolved after new version of software release and update. Totally not reliable vehicle if you go for long journey.
I also own a Mahindra TUV 3OO since 3 years. Yesterday I was facing the same problem of Non-responsive clutch in the heavy traffic of my city. I rested the vehicle for 5-6 minutes in off condition and it automatically got solved.
It seems a known issue in TUV, especially when the car is driven in cities with heavy traffic. Even I have changed a master cylinder for clutch once. Then again after almost a year, the issue has resurfaced. The only respite is to know that it is not permanent. Especially when driving on highway in traffic, I had this issue twice and I had to drive with the first gear with full acceleration, so the vehicle was throttling, but moving, and after some time the clutch starts operating again. To reproduce the issue, as you mentioned, just keep the clutch pressed for sometime (which is what you do when driving in city traffic in first gear and half clutch) then you can feel the first part of clutch numb or dead or free. What happens is since the clutch is not unable to free the lock for changing gear, the gear won't be working and will be stuck up in the current position. Allowing a free time will rebounce the clutch's master cylinder thus making it working again.

I too got the problem and once i changed my master cyl plate etc in show room, Now the same problem in 2.5k km run. Got fed up. Earlier ₹15k now expect ₹30 K maint exp. Bad perf.But my early car Nano gave 1.5 lac perf with very less maint.
I have the same issue it gets fixed if you turn off and on but in traffic this cant be solution. Air bleed out karvaya but still i have the problem. Did they change master cylinder? If so do you still have any such problem again?

Yes, absolutely same problem with my car too exactly after 55k km clutch plate issue gear strucking especially in traffics ... After sales service is also very bad with Mahindra Service centers. Planning to service from outside service center for the first time ...
I encountered this same problem last year with my TUV... Gear getting stuck.. Also on a slope upwards, while accelerating, smoke came from under bonnet with burning smell.. Had to change the clutch plate set that set my pocket back by around 40K at a local garage.. Quote given by Mahindra service center folks was Rs 60K.. Understood then that it was a common problem with TUV. Again day before yesterday I encountered similar problem again this time again while ascending a steep slope at Khopoli... Burning smell persisted, but next day vehicle ran normal without any problem. Mechanic said nothing to worry at the moment... So I see from comments here that this is a common flaw with TUV vehicles
Same problem occurred to my vehicle also on my 1000km. Then they just changed the some plastic ball which is inside the clutch cylinder. But it worked for another 1500 km only. So I escalated that issue to customer care. Then they changed full assembly for free of cost. Now it is 42000 km going without clutch problem. But now there is another problem in rear break drum, which was not correctly fixed during my free service and because of that front break pads got overload and rear got no load during my last 40000 kms. This non professional work has made me to pay lot more during my paid service. So I chose 3rd party service people.

I am having TUV 300 T8 2016, KM 110000, i am also having same issue in traffic. but adviser told me not to worry. no need to change cylinder. it is problem of oil going opposite direction. nothing else. i am having one more issue regarding water in diseale filter light in dashboard. it is also normal fault.
This issue is mainly happened because of driving tuv300 in eco mode and also in eco ac mode In eco mode the various amount of load is going on gearbox mainly clutch and master cylinder So avoid driving in eco mode continuesly.

Yes, same happened to me too & right now my vehicle at service centre under repair. Master cylinder to be changed, Flywheel observed play causing the irregularities was suggested by service centre & replacing now. Will cost around 35 to 39 thousand rupees all together.
Yes brother, I have a TUV-300, I am also facing the same issue from last 15days, my driver complained once, my friend complained same, and recently I was stopped my car on up road due to traffic, suddenly it was happened with me also..it happens only if we keep press the clutch for a long time. After that it will be perfect, as earlier.. I sent the car to service center, they said that it need to open the gear box, and inside the box there is a cts system or something, that might be problem. Or else need to change the clutch assemble kit.. But being a technical head, it's some manufacturing defect in the clutch system.. we can clime it with Mahindra, if Large members (who are suffering with same issue with same model vehicle) face the same issue..
Hello brother its not a manufacturing defect. Its due to some tmt and cmc faliure. Plesde email customer care service and involve your service center please make sure it does not happen again if it is then email everytime you face issue.the service center guys have not checked the enire system then there is no such issue. Let them come to a decision. I have tuv since 3 years and did not gave any such issue

I lost my tuv clutch on 5500 km only...and service center has asked me to pay 45000 for new clutch as clutch is not covered in warranty But after fighting for it they finally remove the charges. They found a bolt in turbo charger that cause the clutch to blow off..this was their version. GOD know what was the issues.
This is really bad , I think now it's a time that Mahindra should start working on their product quality and customer service .. they are not focusing on material quality ..
Mera experience hai ki matter cylinder bhi change karke koi fayda nhi hai, aur na hi air nikal kar koi fayda hai, bro maine sb karke dekh liya yaha tak clutch plate bhi change krwa di, koi fayda nhi, avi vi same problem hai.

I also have the TUV. Absolutely no problem. If you get it serviced regularly by authorized centers, they will check these things very carefully. After all these are machines and need good service.

20000 kms with two services. I am a scientist by profession and have a very good understanding of machines. Especially the clutch plate goes bad due to bad habits in driving. This is my fourth car and only in one car I had to change the clutch plate after 80000 kms. I will suggest that you make your video more informative by giving real tricks to save the vehicle from any damage.
No I am not facing any such issue............my tuv is 3 year old..........and 30000 driven...........it is completely moving first class..........no issue related to anything except seats cushioning is not good........This is best car in this price segment.........
Even i had a TUV. I didnt have a clutch issue, but sometimes when we used to restart the engine after stopping somewhere, the belt used to rotate in the direction opposite to what it is supposed to rotate in. Finally we decided to sell the car this year and we have bought the ciaz. And the main thing is that the car only ran for 13500 kms
Same issue in TUV 300 T8, but i am using it like that, in my case on driving i have to forcefully bring it neutral and leave the clutch completely and than if I step on the again it use to get back to normal
Clutch Issue is a big issue as I have already faced the same problem on the highway and I stopped and parked near by road and stopped the engine, few minutes later I started and it was normal and I came back home. I think it's not a small problem.
Sir , i m also facing the same problem I m having a Mahindra tuv 300 , its only completed 12000 kms Problems which i m facing are 1. At night on highway while i was driving , the fuel pump suddenly came out and then i took it to the service center the next morning. 2 . After running only 11000 miles my clutch plate , pressure plate and full clutch assembly which costed me around 45000 3. Now when i m going out and driving for a distance , like 1 km then after taking a break it doesnt get start for around 30 minutes So i m really getting irritated .☹️☹️
Yes brother I can understand your problem , Mahindra is not worried about their quality , they are having really a bad customer relationship.. they don't care about customers
@@sahildhingra16 they charged me around 30 to 32k, after replacing its good as new vehicle. The trick with this vehicle is, never keep your leg on clutch lever, unless and untill needed. In this vehicle, the clutch engages very quickly, if u simply touch it as well, this kind of driving is common during traffic situations and atlast burns the whole thing in a short run.
Failure of clutch cylinder in common in all mahindra cars. I have personally experienced it in my scorpio and have seen my friends suffer the same in their XUV. Wonder when will they resolve this issue forever from their cars.

Exactly ..bro ..the same thing happend to my TUV t8,and this is the second time ....what i investigated was ,there is a spring and a gaurd above the clutch pedal,somwat difficult to acces for us(our clutch system hydaulic),...there is the defect dat Mahindra has made in TUV ....i was stuck in traffic jst becoz of dat .....jst check it bro if its d same issue....
Anyone try replacing it with 407's metal clutch oil cylinder...heard it solves the issue . Problem seems to be with mahindra plastic cylinder quality .

59000kms 2016 August T8 model. So far no such clutch problem reported. However, FIRSTLY - my coolant levels go down. I had got it checked once for leaks and it was sorted. I had to refill new coolant liquid from Mahindra which costed me money. Now again I have checked that the coolant level has gone down and is at almost half tank level. SECONDLY, there is a lot of wheel spinning issue with TUV. The Mahindra recalled the vehicle and installed MLD kit. But the spinning issue is still there as yesterday i face the problem again when i had to climb a 30-35 degree left bent dirt track somewhere in Himalayas and it could not do so. After a lot of Tyre burning a a push by a couple of men, i was successful. The good thing with MLD installation is that the body roll has almost gone and i am getting a smooth drive. THIRDLY - The windshield leaks from top center position and the rain water starts coming in. FOURTHLY - though it happens sometimes, when i start the vehicle in good warm engine condition, it doesn't start and just goes thud-thud-thud-thud for a while and stops. The whole TUV shakes as if the engine is trying to free itself out of the car body. I then need to switch off the ignition - wait for a while and then start again.. It is sometime embarrassing when you are at a traffic light and your TUV doesn't agree to start.. There are many more issues with TUV although i love my own Indian Brand and somehow love to drive it.. Mahindra should really do something on their quality control which is missing presently.
@@Himalayan_Overland hi I too faced the engine vibrating vigorously shaking the whole vehicle with a strange noise issue while starting the vehicle. Mine is resolved after a herculian task. The series of replacement went from Battery, BMS sensor flashing (software update), BMS sensor replacement and finally the selfmotor has been replaced (Bosch is replaced with UHS) and now it is totally resolved. At first the issue would be now and then later it would repeat often causing disgrace on public roads. So respond early and get it sorted before being embarassed in front of family calling it a bad choice. If u neglect it and repeat the job of trying to start it in such condition , smoothness of ur clutch will be vanished. Take care. I got everything replaced under warranty except battery.
bhai i m new to your channel also...i think this is my first time on your videos...now coming to your problem.. i own scorpio s10 2017.. i started facing hard clutch and sound in my clutch pedal when i press it...at around 5000km and even once i got replaced my pedal ubder warranty...but...the main issue which these service centres guys also cudnt identify was the faulty slave cylinder...One is master cylinder which connected as same piece with brake oil reservoir...and second is slave cylinder (which is connected to clutch bearing which in my case is inside gearbox case)..and after 25000km my clutch started having same problem as yours...and oil started leaking drop by drop under the car also clutch goes down and doesnt come up..and builds air inside...and at one stage daily i have to relase air from my clutch line by using simple syringe..so as per my experience slave cylinder is the culprit...and i think if you dont take care of that rubber debris from slave cylibder can make your clutch line dirty and may damage you master cylinder also

मेरे पास TUV3OO है। 2015 नवंबर मॉडल है। मेरी गाड़ी टर्बो खराब हुआ था। जब यह गाड़ी नई आयी थी। तो cluch ऐसा होता था कियोकि मैं टेस्ट ड्राइव लेने जाता था तो उन शोरूम बालों टेस्ट ड्राइव बाली गाड़ी यह हुआ था। फिर मैंने 3, 4 महीने बाद खरीदा था।
Even i faced the same issue but he service center said its because pressing the clutch for long time may cause heating to the clutch, hence do not press clutch in traffic for long time.
Bhai same issiue at 700 km radiater over heat (leak due to bad quality of mahindra) At 20000 km my clutch master cylinder got leak and need to change and at 35000 km my brake pad fallen somewhere and my disbrake where fully burnt off and wich lead to brake at main chauraha but i love my tuv its worth it🥰

The solution is we have to change Clutch master cylinder as well as pressure plates .

Use lower gears in traffic and release clutch while driving. Avoid clutch and accelerator same time

Master cylinder to be changed, Flywheel observed play causing the irregularities was suggested by service centre & replacing now.
Will cost around 35 to 39 thousand rupees all together.

Yes brother, I have a TUV-300, I am also facing the same issue from last 15days, my driver complained once, my friend complained same, and recently I was stopped my car on up road due to traffic, suddenly it was happened with me also..it happens only if we keep press the clutch for a long time. After that it will be perfect, as earlier..
I sent the car to service center, they said that it need to open the gear box, and inside the box there is a cts system or something, that might be problem. Or else need to change the clutch assemble kit..
But being a technical head, it's some manufacturing defect in the clutch system.. we can clime it with Mahindra, if Large members (who are suffering with same issue with same model vehicle) face the same issue..

Hello brother its not a manufacturing defect. Its due to some tmt and cmc faliure. Plesde email customer care service and involve your service center please make sure it does not happen again if it is then email everytime you face issue.the service center guys have not checked the enire system then there is no such issue. Let them come to a decision. I have tuv since 3 years and did not gave any such issue
maybe any failuer but it's a problem for which Mahindra is responsible

I lost my tuv clutch on 5500 km only...and service center has asked me to pay 45000 for new clutch as clutch is not covered in warranty
But after fighting for it they finally remove the charges. They found a bolt in turbo charger that cause the clutch to blow off..this was their version. GOD know what was the issues.
This is really bad , I think now it's a time that Mahindra should start working on their product quality and customer service .. they are not focusing on material quality ..

Dear Friend, Same proplem for my TUV300, Running 52000 Kms only from April 2016.
I also have the TUV. Absolutely no problem. If you get it serviced regularly by authorized centers, they will check these things very carefully. After all these are machines and need good service.
I do proper service of my vehicle at proper interval of 10,000 kilometres in mahindra service center , how much kilometer you have driven your vehicle sir ?
20000 kms with two services. I am a scientist by profession and have a very good understanding of machines. Especially the clutch plate goes bad due to bad habits in driving. This is my fourth car and only in one car I had to change the clutch plate after 80000 kms. I will suggest that you make your video more informative by giving real tricks to save the vehicle from any damage.

No I am not facing any such issue............my tuv is 3 year old..........and 30000 driven...........it is completely moving first class..........no issue related to anything except seats cushioning is not good........This is best car in this price segment.........

Even i had a TUV. I didnt have a clutch issue, but sometimes when we used to restart the engine after stopping somewhere, the belt used to rotate in the direction opposite to what it is supposed to rotate in. Finally we decided to sell the car this year and we have bought the ciaz. And the main thing is that the car only ran for 13500 kms

Same issue in TUV 300 T8, but i am using it like that, in my case on driving i have to forcefully bring it neutral and leave the clutch completely and than if I step on the again it use to get back to normal
Clutch Issue is a big issue as I have already faced the same problem on the highway and I stopped and parked near by road and stopped the engine, few minutes later I started and it was normal and I came back home. I think it's not a small problem.

I m having a Mahindra tuv 300 , its only completed 12000 kms
Problems which i m facing are
1. At night on highway while i was driving , the fuel pump suddenly came out and then i took it to the service center the next morning.
2 . After running only 11000 miles my clutch plate , pressure plate and full clutch assembly which costed me around 45000
3. Now when i m going out and driving for a distance , like 1 km then after taking a break it doesnt get start for around 30 minutes
So i m really getting irritated .☹️☹️

@@sahildhingra16 they charged me around 30 to 32k, after replacing its good as new vehicle.
The trick with this vehicle is, never keep your leg on clutch lever, unless and untill needed.
In this vehicle, the clutch engages very quickly, if u simply touch it as well, this kind of driving is common during traffic situations and atlast burns the whole thing in a short run.

Failure of clutch cylinder in common in all mahindra cars. I have personally experienced it in my scorpio and have seen my friends suffer the same in their XUV. Wonder when will they resolve this issue forever from their cars.

try replacing it with 407's metal clutch oil cylinder...heard it solves the issue . Problem seems to be with mahindra plastic cylinder quality .

Exactly ..bro ..the same thing happend to my TUV t8,and this is the second time ....what i investigated was ,there is a spring and a gaurd above the clutch pedal,somwat difficult to acces for us(our clutch system hydaulic),...there is the defect dat Mahindra has made in TUV ....i was stuck in traffic jst becoz of dat .....jst check it bro if its d same issue....

Sahi bat hain ,mere gadi ka clutch kabhi kabhi kam nahi karata,gadi band karake phir on karana padata hain tab clutch kam karata hain aur gear shift hota hain

59000kms 2016 August T8 model. So far no such clutch problem reported. However, FIRSTLY - my coolant levels go down. I had got it checked once for leaks and it was sorted. I had to refill new coolant liquid from Mahindra which costed me money. Now again I have checked that the coolant level has gone down and is at almost half tank level. SECONDLY, there is a lot of wheel spinning issue with TUV. The Mahindra recalled the vehicle and installed MLD kit. But the spinning issue is still there as yesterday i face the problem again when i had to climb a 30-35 degree left bent dirt track somewhere in Himalayas and it could not do so. After a lot of Tyre burning a a push by a couple of men, i was successful. The good thing with MLD installation is that the body roll has almost gone and i am getting a smooth drive. THIRDLY - The windshield leaks from top center position and the rain water starts coming in. FOURTHLY - though it happens sometimes, when i start the vehicle in good warm engine condition, it doesn't start and just goes thud-thud-thud-thud for a while and stops. The whole TUV shakes as if the engine is trying to free itself out of the car body. I then need to switch off the ignition - wait for a while and then start again.. It is sometime embarrassing when you are at a traffic light and your TUV doesn't agree to start.. There are many more issues with TUV although i love my own Indian Brand and somehow love to drive it.. Mahindra should really do something on their quality control which is missing presently.
@@Himalayan_Overland hi I too faced the engine vibrating vigorously shaking the whole vehicle with a strange noise issue while starting the vehicle. Mine is resolved after a herculian task. The series of replacement went from Battery, BMS sensor flashing (software update), BMS sensor replacement and finally the selfmotor has been replaced (Bosch is replaced with UHS) and now it is totally resolved. At first the issue would be now and then later it would repeat often causing disgrace on public roads. So respond early and get it sorted before being embarassed in front of family calling it a bad choice. If u neglect it and repeat the job of trying to start it in such condition , smoothness of ur clutch will be vanished. Take care. I got everything replaced under warranty except battery.
bhai i m new to your channel also...i think this is my first time on your videos...now coming to your problem..
i own scorpio s10 2017.. i started facing hard clutch and sound in my clutch pedal when i press it...at around 5000km and even once i got replaced my pedal ubder warranty...but...the main issue which these service centres guys also cudnt identify was the faulty slave cylinder...One is master cylinder which connected as same piece with brake oil reservoir...and second is slave cylinder (which is connected to clutch bearing which in my case is inside gearbox case)..and after 25000km my clutch started having same problem as yours...and oil started leaking drop by drop under the car also clutch goes down and doesnt come up..and builds air inside...and at one stage daily i have to relase air from my clutch line by using simple syringe..so as per my experience slave cylinder is the culprit...and i think if you dont take care of that rubber debris from slave cylibder can make your clutch line dirty and may damage you master cylinder also

Yes I have TUV 300, and clutch problem, koi air problem nahi hota hai, cylinder problem hi hai.
Even i faced the same issue but he service center said its because pressing the clutch for long time may cause heating to the clutch, hence do not press clutch in traffic for long time.

At 20000 km my clutch master cylinder got leak and need to change and at 35000 km my brake pad fallen somewhere and my disbrake where fully burnt off and wich lead to brake at main chauraha but i love my tuv its worth it🥰
