Nissan Juke 1.5DCI K9K engine glow plug testing

  • Testing the glow plugs out on our 2014 Nissan Juke 1.5 diesel engine (Renault K-Type engine K9K engine code).
    I show how to access on these engines and then the testing for each of the glow plugs and their location to see if I can figure out why we're having some cold start problems.

    must be the glow plug module. I think on a few systems, the coolent temperature dictated wether the glowplugs are enabled or not on a cold start, so it maybe something to do with that, or someware along those lines.

      Thanks Nathan, yes either outside temperature or coolant temperature, the Juke appears to have a glow plug control module possibly hidden in front wheel arch so that might be worth checking next.

      @@junkendriven Hello did you manage to fix it? Maybe you had P0380 fault? I changed glow plugs/glow plug control module nothing helped.

      ​@@kellygoodwin2608if your still having the same problem it could be down to a leaking injector.
