My biggest question with this is why ranged weapons? Cause if an alternate looks identical to you wouldn't you know it's weak points cause it would be like fighting yourself?? For instance if I fought my alternate with a switch blade I would go for the legs cause that's my biggest advantage and then the stomach. It always confuzzled me.
It would also know your weak points I'd think
Wouldn't know my thoughts though, so if I attack first and I'm smart about it I'd get the element of surprise, rushing the thing would probably cause internal panic and it would act irrationally to void me/survive. I don't have to out fight it I just have to out smart it.
