You know what's funny? Sesame Street used to have a lot of letter segments that taught kids the concept of alliteration, when the name "sesame street" itself is an alliteration!

I gotta give you a lot of credit: this is actually remarkably close to what I pictured in my head when I listened to this sketch (and died laughing, every single time) as a kid!

If this were a real sketch on the show, I can picture the machine already having an "R" printed on its' side, a light on the machine flashing with each bell ding, and then when the machine explodes, Ernie and Bert are briefly sent flying in a gust of flames, and the aftermath would have their apartment living room be a mess with scorched walls, broken windows, knocked-over furniture, the E&B portrait tilted sideways a bit (and maybe even frowning instead of smiling), and the wrecked machine in the center.

Very nice! I love how it’s right in the apartment set.
I often use this audio skit to talk about inspiration in my own creativity, and I must say that you did this very well! Great puppeteering, animation, and designs! Keep up the good work!

All this time, I thought Ernie said Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer followed by later on in life Rudolph The. Red Reindeer. But now that I got to understand the sketch better, Ernie said Ruth Rode The Red Reindeer if I'm not mistaken.
