Hi, I've been doing some searches on compatible batteries and there are a lot of choices as far as mAh hours. 600 here up to 2,800. Can you go that high and get longer times?.. I know you're working within a tight compartment. Do you you have the measurements needed to fit and function properly .. Thank you so much!!
I don’t have the measurements unfortunately but the battery does sit quite snuggly within the casing. Providing the dimensions are the same, I can’t see any issues using a higher mAh battery.
Hello, I would like to ask you a question my WL-T Wireless Transmitter once inserted into the Katana air does not charge. I am forced to use a USB cable how can I repair it if possible? Thanks in advance and compliments for the video. Greetings from Ital
I think your best bet would be to carefully dismantle the unit and inspect it to see if there’s any loose cables or connections. That’s where I would start. Let me know how you get on. Good luck.
Thanks for the informative video. I have the same wireless system and I appreciate your advice. The green light of transmitter unit (one that gets connected to the guitar) stays on even when I unplug it from my guitar. Do you by any chance know what might the problem be and how can I fix it? Thanks in advance!
@@SaltGuitars Thanks for the reply. It stays on for a long time, then it goes to standby until the battery is finished. I opened it according to instructions in your video and made sure that the small spring button is not stuck.
It sounds like an issue with the PCB and a failed component. It might be worth trying some contact cleaner to clean the PCB and also the micro switch. There is a motion sensor in the unit and if this has failed then it may be preventing it from switching off.
@@SaltGuitars I see. I might take it to the store to check it out and hopefully fix it. I think it fell once and that can be the cause. Thanks for the kind help and also nice battery replacement video. Keep it up!
Hello - a huge request to the creators of the channel. I bought this wireless system second-hand, unfortunately the cables inside the WL-T transmitter are unsoldered (broken), so the device does not work. Could you please take some good quality photos of the inside of this transmitter? Ones that would tell me where to solder the cables? I would be very grateful.
@@SaltGuitars Hi, RUclips rejected my two comments. Could you take some good quality photos of the interior of the WL-T transmitter, I mean shots from several sides showing where all the cables go and where they are soldered (it would also be a good idea to remove the battery), and send these photos to an e-mail address? Thank you very much in advance. I just don't know how to give you the address. RUclips removes all comments with links or email addresses.

Great video! Thank you for the detail information. This instruction would be good for Boss wireless users!
No problem. Glad it was helpful.

You're welcome!
Where did you find the replacement battery? I can find them online for a fairly reasonable price + about $13 shipping, but they're 2 1/2 months out.
I got them off eBay. I’m in the UK. They were £10.99 per battery including shipping.

Does it stay on indefinitely? It’s meant to stay on for about 20-30 seconds after unplugging it.

When I took mine apart, I had the same problem. Noticed that I'd pulled a black wire from the main board, so I had to re-solder that.
Thanks for the video
No problem!

Hi. Yeah, I can open it back up again and take some pictures. No problem. How do you want me to send them to you?

@@SaltGuitars Hi bro, any chance you could take these photos for me? I would be very grateful to you
I’ll get it done this weekend and add it as a private video and send you a link.
