Well Kirby you have just done an extremely engaging video interview that was fascinating from start to finish keep up the good work and I'll be looking forward to watching the next one.
As a “presenter “ you’ve come on leaps and bounds. You’re coming across as natural/professional/relaxed/engaging as any tv interviewer now. It’s also been rewarding to see your relationships grow with your various friends. Thank you for taking us on that journey with you!!
I would love to hear something about how the elegant lifestyle is for everyone, even welders like myself!😁 But seriously, this was a wonderful video/podcast!
C'mon now.. Texas Gentlemen have their own unique and killer style. Between boots, hats, ties, properly cut pants, and south/southwest inspired accents of silver, haematite, and turquoise. No doubt you can make it work as a tradesman. Ever hear that song by Jon Pardi, Dirt On My Boots?
you talk about a renaisance of classic menswear. as i understand it for a lot of generations a sort of appreciation for quality and "old" things has been lost, but in my own age bracket i am seeing a lot of people deciding that they would much rather spend their hard earned (or furloughed) money on things such as fine china and silverwear rather than the typical "night out on the town" where an entire weeks pay gets spent on whatever drugs and booze are available. menswear is definately on the rise, it just might take a bit.
Really enjoy your project, and I say this as gently as possible as it’s well-intentioned: for such high quality presentations, I’d suggest to try to eliminate the filler words, “You know”, from your speech as possible.
This would be a good podcast format. I've heard you on podcasts before Kirby, but you could host your own, honestly. A bit of constructive criticism: if you could turn up the microphones volume just a tad, would be perfect! Have a good day.
At 10:30 - I think that's why it was unapproachable as it was pretentious and above the normal person looking to enter the bespoke marketplace that wasn't royal or a millionaire
Stopped following the Rake when they went left wing woke with Lewis Hamilton and other nonsense. Shame, I liked their aesthetic outside of the woke garbage.
Don’t be a pain. These guys are not chain smokers. People can make their own choices. I’m fully aware that my once a month cigar is a health risk but the occasional Cohiba is something I enjoy.
@@endive1960 Maybe, but that wasn’t really your original point. If these guys think smoking makes them look like gentlemen, so be it. Better that than bear baiting or cock fighting or gambling, as in the St James’s clubs of the eighteenth century.
Love "The Rake". Best bespoke luxury lifestyle magazine at present.
I find inspiration in the clear passion being exuded by such fine gentlemen.
Two gentleman discussing shoes, suits and fashions while enjoying a cigar together despite being 1000’s of miles apart. How wonderful :)
Yes indeed
Really love The Rake and KA. Thoroughly enjoyed this interview/conversation.
Tom’s jacket is just unreal.
Eloquent is the only word i can think of to summarize this video.

Thank you so much, Trevor!

Excellent video!
It's not the peaks that get me , it's the high closure showing just the tie knot and almost no shirt except the collar
Very old look
I suspect Tom (I’ve met him) has lost weight and had the buttons on his jacket moved, hence the resulting, odd looking wrap over of the lapels.
@@russ9921 I dont think its odd but
It looks more like an overcoat. I am sure it is on purpose, though. Not sure I am liking it.
Brilliant interview can not wait till you can actually do face 2 face interviews. Well done.
Thank you gentlemen for a good video, I love Tom and Kirby, I would love to meet them in person, they are good company

2021 Year of the Ox was a 6x60, for references. A monster stick.

Love the Fendor ST Dupont lighter.

Cohiba is my brand of choice for my blunts. Castro would be proud.
Really great video. Very inspiring 👌😁
Glad you think so!
Rake interview?
The Rush Limbaugh memorial cigar.lol
Amazing race really mean that Silvio Guidetti
Is Tom related Neville?
You guys shouldn't mix theater industry news with music industry news often times you'll be wrong

is Tom of British aristocratic peerage?
Stopped following the Rake when they went left wing woke with Lewis Hamilton and other nonsense. Shame, I liked their aesthetic outside of the woke garbage.
only because LH is high net worth, otherwise they wouldn't have a bar of him..
There's something incredibly off-putting about this guy.
Kirby or Tom?
The cigar bit looks unnatural and staged. It’s an unhealthy habit not befitting of a gentleman.
Don’t be a pain. These guys are not chain smokers. People can make their own choices. I’m fully aware that my once a month cigar is a health risk but the occasional Cohiba is something I enjoy.
@@russ9921 still looks staged, as if it's what they think they should be doing.

@@endive1960 your original point was also about health; as for staged, the whole 'gentleman' thing could be considered staged..
