Bro i love rumble but it is busted. Ive been a rumble main recently and i just reached gc last season, and I occasionally have to play against really high ranked players. Since a lot of ssls dont really play rumble, their mmr is sometimes low enough to play in my lobbies. *My actual ranked rank is champ one. These guys are astronomically better at the game than me.* Psyonix please just raise their rumble mmr, i dont care if they have never played a game of rumble in their lives if theyre a ranked ssl, theyre at the very least a gc2 in rumble. Heres an example of the problem, i was unfortunate enough to drop back down to c3, and when i got to my rank up game, *i was matched against an rlcs contender.* Playing against that dude made me feel worse at the game than when i was a gold. Side note, all those champs who think they can hang in ssl lobbies, youre just wrong. You can be playing with your boys against an ssl and two plats and youll probably still get annihilated. Id say i have pretty decent mechanics and rotations, but even still, the skill gap is wild. One of the biggest things that i feel like people dont think about is how well they read the ball. *You will get beat to the ball 99/100 times and the hundredth time he’ll still 50 you and win it.*
