TAEYANG embodies early 2000s R&B. If you want nostalgia, start with his early solo vids and work your way up: I Need A Girl (dance version), Where U At, Wedding Dress, Ringa Linga, Eyes Nose Lips, etc
TAEYANG - so good! There are 3 recent videos on TAEYANG's own RUclips channel where he performed at a festival - but it seemed like a concert.. The video is 4K and the sound is amazing. The videos are a couple of minutes long each.

Taeyang is Lisa’s mentor and was at her audition!! She was in his video Ringa Linga as a backup dancer back in the day!!
He carries this vibe through all his solo songs! You should check out the dance practice version as well to see the whole dance (they both do sooo well and are known as the main dancers of their group!).

Lisa went from being Taeyangs backup dancer, to Ft with him😱🖤💖👑👑. Tae is in O.G of Kpop, he's from BigBang. They are the O.G kings of Kpop. BTS looks up to BigBang, & got a lot of inspiration from them & MJ. Blackpink & BigBang are from the same music label YGE. But BigBang has now disbanded. I still suggest their music 🔥🔥🔥

TAEYANG is a member of BIGBANG (the group that revolutionized KPOP since 2006, they are THE IDOLS of all idols, the OG) He's the main dancer and the main vocalist of the group. he really is the true king, major in rnb genre, and references MJ (Michael jackson) so much, you can hear from his voice tchnically, and the gimmick from his dance. He was the first and only artist who, contrary to the usual. began to perform rnb in k-pop. BIGBANG is 2nd kpop gen. and Lisa was a trainee when Taeyang and his group BIGBANG were topping the charts. BigBang was leading the way for kpop going international beyond Asia.
One interesting story is that TAEYANG was there at LISA's audition where she sang JB "baby", TAEYANG instantly knew that young LISA was going to be a huge star! and told the CEO YG that! Then made her one of the background extras in his RINGA LINGA m/v before BP debuted. Taeyang has come back hard, being gone for 6 yrs., but he just picked it up where he left off.
