Wes and Tom that location has been very popular in the past with a bunch of dredges, that whole area has been hit pretty hard. Good size pickers have come from there. The Twin Rivers Campground owners are nice people and we enjoy camping there when we can. Nice video.

That's great. We thought of you when we were there.
Boulders will act like a riffle in a pan and they will slow the water during the spring melt and gold will be deposited on the down stream side of the boulder. You can find gold all the way down to the clay or the bedrock.

Could hear that dredge working as you were sluicing...you found some nice flakes. I hear there's gold in the Westfield & Deerfield rivers in Massachusetts, do you have any intention of checking that part of the Northeast?
The issue is filming it and putting it online. Technically there is no legal =palce to prospect in MA unless you own the land.

What would you find below the clay layer
There could be gold under the clay that was deposited there before the clay but the clay was really thick. I never got below it.
I just ran into you guys. Why don't you have a machine run sluice and baptize yourselves into that river and get some good "take home" gold? I will check out other videos and catch up on your master plan! Good kick back stuff though!

do you think its possible to trae the gold up-strean to locate the main source?
no really because it's all placer gold and it doesn't come from a main source it comes from the glaciers depositing it.
@@hipbeeexplorer i understand what you are saying, sort of. didnt gold show up dur to volcanic eruptions years ago, that caused the mountains? if so, then I believe that there was large rocks and deposits of gold that the glaciers rubbed/washed down stream, but like i stated there was probobly a large deposit of gold and my guess is a large portion is still there.
