I noticed that in our Nutcracker rehearsals, a particular dancer looked like she didn't want to be there. Very low energy, and not very interested so it appeared. Well I went to one of the shows to watch my teacher dance Sugar Plum since I wasn't cast that day. The dancer that appeared uninterested came alive on the stage. They looked like a completely different person. It was Amazing!!!😊💝

Very interesting video, as usual. You offer such a unique input on a ballet channel. As an avid balletomane - for 60 years - if I were being totally truthful and not holding back, there are so many times that I will see a dancer make it to principle who are so less good than some others and so then balletomanes are stuck with them and it pains me greatly because then I am deprived of the full beauty of ballet because the greater dancer has been eclipsed by lesser dancers.
I also have seen dancers in recent times dancers get promoted to principle yet I feel corps members are just as good or better. Recently, I have been shocked by a lower dancing level at a big national company by some female soloists and principles. Ballet is my sacred church and I want the highest practitioners before my eyes. To me of course, I'm not interested in how reliable they are with learning choreography.
I just want to see great artistry and great dancing on stage.
    Thank you for the video.
