Who else feels emotional watching this? She’s the most beautiful thing I haven’t seen. This is incredible, Mattel you did it, you crazy son of a thing you did it.
It’s very impressive just how detailed and massive this figure is. Hammond Collection did a great job with the brachiosaurus, with the only minor gripes imo being the tail articulation and the neck being a bit off (due to it being rubber joints).
This is such a vast improvement over the Legacy one, and that's saying something as it holds a lot of sentimental value to me as I got it after my beloved cat passed away in 2019 from cancer, and in a way it helped pull me through that rough patch in my life. Never mind it was the first huge Jurassic sauropod toy. Anyways, I'm blown away by this. My initial reception to the first pics out there had me a bit unsure about the sculpt and the coloration, but this clears those doubts away. The Legacy one was great for the time, but this has certainly dethroned it. I'm glad there's a rubbery neck too, even if the bendy feature doesn't work all that well. Tactile wise I think it'll help it feel more "real" then the plastic does, and is something I wanted the Legacy one to have. The additional limb and tail articulation also fixes the only main gripe I had with the original, which was the lack of ability to do the famous and beloved rearing pose. Love that the head matches up better with the Stan Winston animatronic, and the coloration looks quite close to what's used on the maquette, animatronic, and final ILM model film shots. I appreciate you pulling up Crash's artwork of the head. Looking at it, I think the older Legacy figure's head sculpt resembles it, where again, this new HC nails the animatronic look. Like you said they both have their own strengths, and it'll be great to give my Legacy Brachiosaurus a "friend" after all these years.
So excited for this one as Brachiosaurus is my favourite sauropod! The detail they've put into it looks amazing and will be an amazing addition to my collection!
It's rare for Ted to review a figure, and what better way to review the greatest figure for 2023. And this has got to be the Best Hammond collection figure this year.
It’s perfect and huge for an articulated brachiosaurus from the Hammond collection they did a great job on it and I am excited for their Hammond collection spinosaurus to be released too
Hey Jurassic park compound I am really really incredibly proud on the amount your channel is growing, and how well this video was received. Love your work. ❤️🦖
After seeing this I have to wonder, what are the chances for a Prehysteria Paula repaint? The sculpt is so good and the fact she's nearly 1-1 scale its enough that I want to pick this up even though I dont have the space for it. That and would be obligated to pick up a Hammer and Madonna too.
I've said it before but it's wild that it took us nearly 30 years to get a proper sauropod in a Jurassic toyline. Not from Kenner, not from Hasbro, then Mattel comes along and we have three different brachiosaurs including a fully articulated Hammond Collection version, an apatosaurus, dreadnoughtus, and a mamenchisaurus on the way. Not to mention a few smaller species like amargosaurus and nigersaurus.
fantastic review, nice to see it's the same size as the legacy. I still think the legacy holds up esp for the price it was at release, but this is a very nice upgrade.
I'm just a little concerned about how sturdy that neck material will be, I hope that over the course of a year, cracks don't start to appear in it, as has happened with other mattel figures in the past, other than that, the figure looks pretty good.🤔
Saying this Brachio is gorgeous would be an understatement. I thought it would be pretty similar to the Legacy Collection one, only with more articulation, but nope. It's even better. Let's just hope the rubber neck (and the rubber tails of some other species from the Hammond Collection) won't suffer the same problem as the Kenner TLW Stegosaurus and its infamous tail.
Looks like the best factory paint job for Hammond Collection yet. Body details look amazing and head looks spot on for the animatronic! How does she scale with Rexy??
Great review. Agree with you on the neck issue. Why couldn't they make the neck like the Hammond Collection T-Rex's tail? It's flexible, doesn't collapse, and holds the pose.
I'd love to buy this one to pair with the Beasts of the Mesozoic/Cyberzoic Allosaurus, Stegosaurus, Miragaia, and Ceratosaurus when they come out. I'd have a full cast for a Stop-motion film about the Lourinha Formation of Portugal.
That neck is really putting me off, i was all in for this figure when i first heard of it, but for $80... not really being able to pose the neck is a bit of a dealbreaker
2015, when Hasbro got the rights for Jurassic World i thought the JP Toys are dead and now this. I see the love of the design team in ever inch. Still waiting for a Hammond Collection Stegosaurus, Spinosaurus, Diplodocus or Dreadnoughtus.
A puppet? The original animatronic Brachiosaurus didn't look like a puppet! Our work was based on crash drawings and maquettes! I worked on the first two Jurassic movies!
please can you do some repaints based on the jurassic park arcade of 2015 it is one of my favorite arcade and you can also divide it into each video tricera trex and spino
Pour moi le brachiosaure de la hammamd collection c’est 10/10 car il est très précis il ressemble beaucoup à celui du film en plus le brachiosaure est mon dinosaures préféré
I so will want Mattel would also do in Hammond Collection : -Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus Rex with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head), and all the scars : those on the right, on the muzzle, and those on the left especially at the level of the shoulder; -T-Rex from JP3 with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head), and the scars on the right muzzle; -Pyroraptor with specially the smaller and shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head); -Spinosaurus with tail measuring halfway through the total length of the body, the bigger sail, and the feet not so big (the feet 1/2 shorter than the head); -Suchomimus with tail measuring halfway through the total length of the body, and the feet not so long (the feet 1/2 shorter than the head); -Velociraptor Blue with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head); -Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Teratophoneus with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head); -Jurassic World Pteranodon; -Tarbosaurus with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head); -Dreadnoughtus; -Utahraptor feathered with especially the shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head); -Deinosuchus with tail measuring halfway through the total length of the body; -Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton poseable with especially the shorter feet than the skull (the feet 1/3 shorter than the skull), the tail measuring halfway through the total length of the body, and skull more based on the T-Rex AMNH 5027; -Deinonychus based on the concept art of the Jurassic Park movie or Dominion with especially the smaller and shorter feet than the head (the feet 1/3 shorter than the head); -Helicopters : N522RS, N293G, and Sikorsky H-34 (like those in video games Jurassic Park III Dino Defender and Jurassic Park III Danger Zone).
The kids these days don’t know how good they got it, don’t get me wrong nothing will compete against the old Mattel 90s figures. I grew up in the era right after Jurassic Park three so I either got pretty crappy toys because the ones after Jurassic Park three pretty much sucked or old used ones from the 90s, lucky kids.
The repaint should be if anyone has played ark aberration an aberrant variant for reference aberration is in a massive cave system all the dinosaurs and other creatures are bio luminescent in some parts of the body
I cant believe they blew it on the neck. Dont they test these to see if they can hold a pose? Whats the point of the rubber neck if it just goes back to its original shape when you try to bend it. Makes it practically useless. You had one job!
Who else feels emotional watching this? She’s the most beautiful thing I haven’t seen. This is incredible, Mattel you did it, you crazy son of a thing you did it.
Crazy son of a b*tch, they did it.🥹
Bruh what? It’s a toy 💀
Umm...no one?
@@jameson4844 bruh that’s taking it to seriously 🤣
I feel you friend, the figure is a dream!
It’s very impressive just how detailed and massive this figure is. Hammond Collection did a great job with the brachiosaurus, with the only minor gripes imo being the tail articulation and the neck being a bit off (due to it being rubber joints).
This is definitely one of the best, if not the best hammond collection figure
I say that the hammond ankylosaurus is the best in my opinion.
This is such a vast improvement over the Legacy one, and that's saying something as it holds a lot of sentimental value to me as I got it after my beloved cat passed away in 2019 from cancer, and in a way it helped pull me through that rough patch in my life. Hammond Collection has been such an incredible hit!

I can't wait to have this new Brachiosaurus when it's released :D

Thank you for sharing! This figure looks amazing!
Amazing ! Where buy this brachiosaurus ?
Great review ! All we need to know about the new brachi it's here.
So cool! There's just one more sauropod we need : Mamenchisaurus!

That's the Brachiosaurus toy that I always dreamed of having in the 90s 😍. I you know what? Never is too late 😅

Awesome. Can't wait to see the repaint.
fantastic review, nice to see it's the same size as the legacy.
I still think the legacy holds up esp for the price it was at release, but this is a very nice upgrade.
How did you get that 😳
I'm just a little concerned about how sturdy that neck material will be, I hope that over the course of a year, cracks don't start to appear in it, as has happened with other mattel figures in the past, other than that, the figure looks pretty good.🤔
Amazing how you got it I hope I can get my hands on the new triceratops son even though I’m still going to get the main line ones for my collection
Hey I need to remove the horns on the sinoceratops figure's frill, what do you recommend I use???
Saying this Brachio is gorgeous would be an understatement. I thought it would be pretty similar to the Legacy Collection one, only with more articulation, but nope. It's even better.
Let's just hope the rubber neck (and the rubber tails of some other species from the Hammond Collection) won't suffer the same problem as the Kenner TLW Stegosaurus and its infamous tail.
I hope they make a JP3 recolor at some point
God I can't wait for this! I agree about the neck and I hope they fix that before release but I'm buying regardless. Thing is beautiful
There’s a lot of great Hammond collection figures around and I’m missing them
Thanks for this. What a cool piece. And it really makes the old Brachios looks bad now. ;)
Great vid and keep up the great content. I will definitely be getting this one.
Looks like the best factory paint job for Hammond Collection yet. Body details look amazing and head looks spot on for the animatronic! How does she scale with Rexy??
Lmao...those scary eyes, why it's follow you? 🤣
Amazing!! Honestly if id somehow be able to get two id like to make a Kaimere Archiepiscipotitan out of one of them!
Need a size comparison with the HC Rex!
It's (for the _most_ part) *GLORIOUS (🤩)!*
Great review. Agree with you on the neck issue. Why couldn't they make the neck like the Hammond Collection T-Rex's tail? It's flexible, doesn't collapse, and holds the pose.
It looks beautiful
Excellent review, my friend! Cannot wait to get my hands on this beauty.
the neck shouldve been made with ball joins and not some bendy wire material in my opinion
Can we get some size comparisons?
I Love this Video Dude !!! Thanks Man. 👍🏻
That's insane 🤯
where can i buy it for Australian money?
I love it 😻😻😻
Amazing unboxing bro! I love how it looks and the points of articulation! Just one question, do you know if this is going to be available on BBTS?
For free? I bought these and Matell had them showing up broken and damaged through the Canadian border and then damaged. I still have them here....
What a gorgeous figure
*wrings its neck*
The paint job looks more accurate than the Legacy Brachio
But the neck, it just looks wrong to me
I want one , are they out now?
The figure does look amazing but since I already have the legacy one this is an easy skip for me
I'd love to buy this one to pair with the Beasts of the Mesozoic/Cyberzoic Allosaurus, Stegosaurus, Miragaia, and Ceratosaurus when they come out. I'd have a full cast for a Stop-motion film about the Lourinha Formation of Portugal.
what happened with the pack with the velociraptor and the ford explorer? Will it came out?
Great figure!
So exited for this guy, can’t wait to get this guy someday.
I really want it but i have a strong fear about that neck not lasting long
Now, where to store the thing... 🤔Great video!
When and where can I get this?
I find many mattel figures inferior to many other figures. We have Nanmu, but this one, WOW!
That neck is really putting me off, i was all in for this figure when i first heard of it, but for $80... not really being able to pose the neck is a bit of a dealbreaker

Why don’t u collect them?

Its a lot better than the legacy one, good video, thanks for share!
When does this come out?
Where did you even get this?
I love the legacy one but this brachio is a whole other story (long story short it’s better in many ways)
A puppet? The original animatronic Brachiosaurus didn't look like a puppet! Our work was based on crash drawings and maquettes! I worked on the first two Jurassic movies!
Dude chill out. Not much ppl think about what the animatronic is when they buy this figure. It isn’t even that big of a deal
That's so cool! It's awesome you were able to be part of such a great franchise
Sure you did.
Idea: repaint a orkoraptor figure to be night feeder from primal
please can you do some repaints based on the jurassic park arcade of 2015 it is one of my favorite arcade and you can also divide it into each video tricera trex and spino

Can't wait to buy it next year with how bad the release dates have been with hc
The rubber neck is what's keeping me from getting this guy. Ah well, money saved.

I thought I heard they redesigned the neck during the design stage to prevent he wrinkles when posing it? That’s disappointing.
It looks like little foot from Land before Time
