I like the idea that it only took the strawhats three days of flight to reach their destination because Kuma was careful not to push them so fast that they would be hurt by the landing, but doesn't take the same considerations with his own transportation.
One of the nicest things about Bonney seeing Kuma memories is the fact she knows that Kuma was always writing to her like he promised and that it was just being ripped up without her knowing and so she knows how much Kuma cared and loves her from that memory flashback.
She just knows he sent the letters, but neither of them knows they were ripped. We got privileged pov during the flashback because we saw outside of what Kuma experienced, Bonney instead knows only what herself and Kuma did. Meanwhile we saw Alpha destroying the letters, the warlords reacting to Kuma joining them, Dragon preparing to go to Loguetown and so on
@@lordfreezer5631 Considering you have profile pic of Frieza, I quote Vegeta from DBZ Abridged about those events Bonney saw from the memories of Kuma. "How did you know the parts you weren't there for?"

I'm pretty confident it has something to do with his will being unerasable, earlier when we meet lilith she talks about how the weaponized seabeast's instincts always breaking through their programming. This is Vegapunk trying to overwrite their will, it's gotta be something pretty hard to crack if he can't do it after all this time.
I like the idea of Kuma being able to control their speed, but when Luffy landed on Amazon Lily, at least in the anime, it was a relatively soft landing
Also with the s-snake her love for luffy was not programmed but was just her lineage factor so I feel like we can just say that the desire to protect Bonney never went away
If you dont remove everything but the frontal lobe (that 10% controlingof the bain that is the controling part with the self,Ego,and personality) a copy of the personality and ego can upload into the frontal lobe from the Subconscious, or Deep Subconscious of the Brain They've made a cyborg mouse with only 3 mouse brain cells in the CPU that can Navigate mazes and access computer memory to "remember" things so keeping the extra meat is uneccessary and leads to unpredictable cyborgs that shouldn't have memories, egos,or personality after daily mind wipes or whatever 😒
Moria and Hogback were evil. Enel seems to be evil as well. They just aren't as imposing. Hell, Doffy seems to be genuinely evil through and through. Even as a small child.
Yep, doffy is still the best villian in one piece for me. He reminds me of joker from DC. They are chaotic evil. You can see it in their face. Lucci and Saturn seems to be lawful evil
To be fair Moria mostly stole shadows from his enemies. He was unironically the most efficient warlord as he stopped numerous pirate crews from reaching the new world. Though he has random shadows of one marine and the girl cindry's shadow is originally from. Hogback is more twisted and his actions are immoral but technically he is not hurting anybody by sperimenting on dead bodies. Enel and Doflamingo I agree, they are rotten inside. We can also put axe hand Morgan, captain Kuro and Caesar in the same category. They are just evil bastards
The agreement between Saturn and Kuma was broken the moment Bonney popped the bubble because they agreed she'd never know the truth behind what happened, but that's exactly what happened and she learned everything. I'm hoping that's what set off any back door contingency for Kuma's memory to be restored.
"The agreement between Saturn and Kuma was broken the moment Bonney popped the bubble" No, it was broken the moment bonnie escaped. Saturn said that if there was disobedience from either kuma or bonnie then she'd be enslaved.
The thing about the idea that Bonney experienced all those years in Kuma's memories is that it only holds water if you assume that time effectively stopped for Bonney and she experienced a 1:1 replay of every second of Kuma's life. It could also be that she touched it and the memories just popped into her head, and now she knows. Bonney could just remember Kuma's life in the same way that we all remember what happened in One Piece - as a story that was being told to the one viewing it.
Not to mention that the only showing of Bonney experiencing Kuma's memory showed her witnessing it third person. The flashback we received was a proper flashback. Bonney probably saw the same thing and maybe more. But somehow it was from a perspective outside of Kuma
One Elder Star being taken down could be the trigger for the Revolutionary Army to attack Marijoa directly, just like the Shandians attacked Upper Yard as soon as they knew Satori was defeated.
can i just raise a point about loki king of the giants that's been mentioned, coz everyone has been assuming its loki like marvel loki, odin's brother, but surely its Utgard Loki i.e. the actual king of the jotuns in norse mythology
Just gonna throw this silly theory out there: The iron giant is not a robot but a mech. Luffy checked the head for a cockpit and it wasn't empty. But all mechs, Franky Shogun, Vegaforce 1(which was designed after the iron giant) and even Oars (which it reminds me a lot of) are controlled from the chest. And it's powered by unbelievable power/the power of the sun. What I am saying is, the Giant Luffy Bomber is real!
I’ve always thought Ceasar Clown was a character that’s done irreparable damage. Scientist experimenting on children always just hits the right emotional triggers for me. Ironically we can say the same for Saturn. Yea Ceasar is a victim to the world government like everyone else. But he still _knew_ exactly what he was doing. Even Orochi has an _excuse_ when it comes to hating Wano citizens. Cesar has nothing. He’s just an evil gas clown. And I love his character.
Most of the villains would be selfishly or arrogantly evil. Like what Doflamingo did to Baby 5 was horrible, but he did it to have her be loyal servant to him, Lucci is murderous psychopath, Enel like celestial dragons didnt value others at all Saturn seems to be relishing in the sadism, like evil itself is the purpose he serves. Though, to be fair, Crocodile seemed like that too and things might change
Except the bubble is just a copy of Kuma's memory. He kept his memories until Vegapunk activated the "will-removing machine". Also Kuma himself said, once someone touches the memory bubble, it just disappears. That's why Vegapunk developed a machine to study the bubble without touching it
I'd say it's still at least possible the memories were returned though. Kuma never "lost" his memories before, so he never would have noticed that his memory copies return to him because he still had the memories anyway
Thank you for actively highlighting and promoting your artists' work! I said it the other day, but TenGuki is my personal favorite and deserves all the recognition and more! Would love to see shoutouts for your other two artists as well.
I am quite confident the punch will land as a conclusion to the suffering that Kuma has gone though at the hands of Saturn. It would be a wonderful book end to deal a blow to the very top of the people that have made Kuma's life nothing but misery since the day he was born, and it would be one of the most satisfying moments in One Piece for us readers as well.
Jaygarcia Saturn always looks down below him as "insects" and he will soon learn the hard way that even insects can bite hard. In form of Kuma using Armament Haki-enhanced Paw-Paw Fruit fist to deliver an island-shattering blow on Saturn's schnoz.
1) can he apply Haki to his Paw-Paw power 2) What happens if Kuma uses smaller paws to teleport body parts to the "4 Winds" (like how they used to tie up prisoners to 4 horses to execute them when the whip was cracked)?
I wonder... When Kuma made his memory bubble, he specifically noted that the bubble was a copy. What if he also made a copy of his personality as well, allowing Vegapunk to erase Kuma's personality while still having a way to return it and also ellude Saturn.
I have another idea for why Bonney was not able to de-age Saturn. Saturn stated that the fruit user has to be able to picture and believe in the possibility they want to create. But Bonney has seen Saturn in Kumas memories as an old man that hasn't changed in the last 30 or so years. So maybe in her mind she can't picture him as anything but an old man who never changes.
I guess how Law taught as that you can break paramecia effects with Haki, I assume that the Gorosei has immense Haki and that's why Bonnie couldn't use her devil fruit
I could see that, but I will agree to the fact we haven't seen another Devil Fruit that was summoned through a circle have we? So it's likely some legendary or some other God/Demon DF with some powers we don't know about currently.
@@Pickn4Gold totally agree, I think Im has something like a Mythical Hito Hito model King of Hell, and the Gorosei sealed a deal with the "devil" (Im) to obtain Yokai powers and eternal youth in exchange for eternal loyalty and obedience. So the Gorosei might even not be fruit users at all, but real life demons, used as puppets by Im.
Okay, I just realized that Oda's shoe designs had changed a lot, Kuma's went from having a goofy wide point to being somewhat normal shoes. Kinda makes me think of DB Super designs that changed DBZ pointy shoes for rounder designs.
Maybe it was a translation error, but I'm pretty sure Saturn directly stated his experiment was to create a new kind of devil fruit, namely the one Bonny has, which is why she has one without actually eating a fruit. Since he never got close to Bonny as a child she must have inherited it from her mother, or he experimented on her before she was born... which is even more horrible so that probably happened. Edit: Almost forgot, but maybe the reason Kuma is acting the way he is has something to do with the same phenomenon that creates klabautermann like Merry, or even give will to swords like the Kitetsu blades.
I am not sure if we know when/where Bonny was born for certain so Saturn might have interacted with bonny after she was born as for his experiment to give someone a devil fruit power without eating the actual fruit, might have been Saturn trying to find a way to have 2 or more users of the same devil fruit power at the same time or have the user gain the powers but not the weakness cause Saturn did state that while Bonny got the powers without having to eat the devil fruit, the fruit became useless anyways so I assume Saturn's experiment was still regarded as a failure
I don't think Saturn said anything about a "new" Devil Fruit, only feeding Devil Fruits to infants. He harvested the juices from the fruit and presumably made Bonney drink them, and the actual Age-Age Fruit is just a dried-out husk now.
Objection! Kuma stated that the memory bubble was a /copy/ so he's always had them within him, I bet the personality switch is rather what determines if he has access to them or not
It fits with what Vegapunk said at the start of the arc no matter how much mechanical enhancements he adds he can't remove the instinctive desires of living beings from his experiments. Kuma's gone but his insinct to protect Bonney is still there.
@@ForNarniamon When was she ever "part of the government" though. She had a bounty since she was 8 and before that she lived on a random island in west blue
Luffy's and Bonney's powers seem oddly related. The power to make everything imaginable possible and the power to make everything you think possible reality makes a worldchanging combination. I wonder if Bonney's DF is really the age-fruit...
There are several cases where 2 different DF has simillar power or theme, but one seems to be a nerfed version or a different version of it. For example: basically, Ope Ope no mi and Bara Bara no mi has the same power. But one can also affect other stuff inside its area of effect (room), while other can only split its own body. And since Buggy never really invested into his DF, the fruit might have some kind of hidden power that is similar to Ope Ope no mi, but only affect the user themself
I like this theory. If you think about it, why would Saint Saturn need to grant someone the powers of a devil fruit without eating it? If Bonney's devil fruit power was taken from a fruit like the Nika Nika (that had a mind of its own), it makes sense that this devil fruit would oppose the WG and evade their attempts to eat it. Thus, Saint Saturn would need to develop some other way to get its power, resulting in his experimentation on Bonney.
Those fruits are 2 completely different things. Ope Ope is short for operation, and all of Law’s attacks are based off of procedures. Injection shot, Scan, Gamma Knife etc. Buggy’s fruit has no properties like that. He can’t even remove his own heart if he wanted. A better example would be Mr 5’s bomb fruit & Gladius’s rupture fruit@@justawanderingoldman7699
When Vega punk was introduced, he mentioned that it's impossible to over ride one's primal instincts when commenting on the robot shark eating everything despite it being programmed to only shoot. I think that was foreshadowing that Kuma's primal instincts are still in there and that instinct is to protect Bonney. Parents have been said to be able to sense when their children are in danger which I think was the trigger for Kuma and how Kuma's instinct kicked in now instead of any other time. That's my interpretation of what's going on with Kuma.
I just realized, Kuma punching a World Noble (if memory from Sabaody serves) would probably shoot his bounty up millions, also probably getting every admiral ever called in. It'd be like role reversal of Luffy and Kuma from Sabaody in a way.
Kuma knows Luffy and been logging Dragon's,Garp's,and Shank's lazy asses in taking care of Luffy, though😹 For recent reference Kinemon and Kiku knew Luffy, Izo,Asura, and Yasue never met Luffy🌈⭐ 😏
If the Strawhats got a hold of S-Bear could they theoretically copy Kuma's memories out of Bonnie, implant it into S-Bear and have a relatively exact copy of kuma after all? Except for the Lunarian traits and a younger body I mean.
Theoretically yes, but that wouldn’t make much sense considering OG Kuma & Bonney’s relationship. It’s more likely Vegapunk will use that bubble Kuma created before his memory got wiped as a way to restore his original self
Thsts pretty messed up, considering that we have seen other Seraphim show signs of being entirely sentient individuals. 😅 Kinda doubt Kuma would be down for functionally murdering and possessing someone, you know?
Oda might be blueballing us with the cliffhanger but I feel like that is just leading up to the best satisfaction when Kuma lands that punch. Unfortunately I do believe that while Saturn will knocked back, lasting damage is probably not in the cards
I'll tell you what I want to see, though: Kuma repelling all the pain from his body - two whole years of the stuff - and forcing it all onto Saturn. It would be glorious!
Kuma traveling faster makes a lot of sense. The strawhats got one big smack each, Kuma can smack himself away from things as often as he has things to smack.
The only weakness to Kuma’s DF is that if something is blocking the path of the destination he chooses there’s no work around for that. Kuma tried to warp himself to Egghead, but since the Red Line was in his way he ended up crashing into it
I am hoping for an island-shaking punch, that would even put Garps' Galaxy Impact to shame. What I expect is that blow to make some damage to Saturn but not enough to take im out. We might have a line like 'Huh, so this is what pain feels like. It has been centuries, I had almost forgotten this sensation.'
About missing Kuma’s foot. I think you are misreading it. All scenes in Mary Geoise will take place after EggHead incident, that why we can see both legs in 1103 EP. It would be aligned with that what Ivakov said about Kuma travel destination. It looks like in Mary Geoise Kuma is continuing the robot mission. Maybe robot’s mind was transferred to Kuma’s body by vegapunk. Just guessing
I feel there are definitely other evil characters in one piece but st. Saturn is unique in the fact that he has no redeeming or relatable qualities like loyalty to his crew, respect for comrades or rivals, has no tragic circumstance or trauma that pushed or developed his evil, no dark naivete fostered through generational caste systems that dehumanize certain groups ( i.e. world nobles, he was there at the beginning so he knows the distinctions are arbitrary.) He has everything he wants and has ultimate power but continues to exert snd exact immense evil pain punishment and torture on innocent individuals not bc theyre in his way or opposed his will or get caught in the crossfire, but for no other reason that he likes to. To the point where he created a disease where the extreme agonizing pain could be captured and perserved forever with the saphire disease. Evil with a purpose can be argued over, measured against other crimes eye for an eye style, said to be necessary to prevent worse evil, it can be related to or see as appropriate justice from certain perspectives and situations. Hiwever Evil for purely just the sake of evil is far more sinister and horrid, bc it cant be rarionalized or measured, indeed often its depth cannot even be fathomed, there is no exchange rate or calcuated retribution. Thats why St. Saturn is so forboding and alien, he doesnt seem to be a man or even a beast. Just an endless resevoir of malice hatred and evil with infinite depths and capacity and energy to inflict on the people of the one piece world.,
He's got a "devil" fruit... like a devil type mythical zoan I mean so yeah he's alien but that explains his logic devils raising humanity as property is what the 5 elders and imu are so if he's a devil with no humanity to him and lives are meaningless that explains the experimentation and overall disregard for humanity and emotion and the manipulative nature I'm guessing they're probably literal invaders to this world considering enels cover story of going to the moon and all that ancient tech from the lost civilization they were definitely exploring space I'm betting they're invaders and it was a battle of freedom vs subjugation and the freedom side lost due to betrayal by other inhabitants of the world i.e. the 20 kingdoms because they were jealous of the ancient kingdom and wanted its strength for themselves i.e. the devils took advantage of the greed of the kingdoms and the elders and imu made a contract to make them the celestial dragons after the war we see what looked like an ancient weapon of the kingdom used by imu to wipe out a whole island so they got the tech and the 20 kingdoms descendants became lazy inhumane slobs over time under the "devils" mentality of superiority over humans this is my current head canon explanation
I like to think that Vega Punk put in a link to the snails in Kuma so if he ever needed to know what's going on. It reminds me of Jenny hacking the snails.
When using his powers for travel, Kuma probably transports other people at a lower velocity than himself for safety reasons. He's a big durable Buccaneer and can safely handle the higher speeds, but he's pretty sure other people can't.
I appreciate the length of this video. You can tell you've slowed down and wanna actually discuss the chapter with us and not just put out content.(its your job no shame) I like this style please do again!
Things that would be predictable & Not the outcomes that I would like: - Saturn gets defeated or dies - Kuma dies - Luffy is the one who defeats saturn - Kizaru turns good or anti-hero
For lack of anything better, I see Saturn being dragged in to a a dog fight with Kuma until the strawhats recover. Still being beaten in the end, but with Bonnie having a final request from her father to join the strawhats. Also with the Saturn being evil, he was the one to order O'Hara to be destroyed by buster call if memory serves while the others looked hesitant to do what was always meant to be. On top of having an inherently evil devil fruit and being basically immortal why not grab for power under the most powerful and evil force known as imu
As far as the anime voices go, I'm pretty sure it was St. Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro giving the order to kill Prof. Clover and St. Marcus Mars regretfully ordering the destruction of the island, as well as holding that whole conversation. As the Godhead of environment, he must have regretted the destruction of the Tree of Knowledge, which predated void century by 4 thousand years. St. Jaygarcia Saturn was never shown to take an active part in the Ohara conversation
@@sinancothebestIt's not only that if you look close to the mouth delivering the line , the chin is clean shaved.Which means it's either Nashjuro or Warcury but the voice mostly matches Nashjuro's i think.
also I definitely think what Bonney experienced was much akin to what we did as readers -- a flash-by of the most important, impactful moments of Kuma's life that was over within hours even from her own perspective, not literally living out her dad's entire existence like what happened to Picard. (Also you bring up such a good point, TNG is a god-tier show but the biggest problem it has for breaking immersion and such is that it's episodic and most its stories are written to be self-contained, even though there's every reason in the world for them to continue to affect the characters past their one-episode confines but they just don't... still though it comes with my highest reccommendations to anyone who hasn't seen it)
14:20 , he doesnt need to stand there, he goes, press button, go back at light speed looks like he didnt move, machine finishes a food, repeat the process
@@othmangebara6786 Said crew was made up of her dad Kuma's friends and they helped her escape from Alpha and join her pirate voyage. It feels jarring Bonney left them behind after escaping capture post-defeat by Blackbeard and Akainu meeting her at that island of flames.
Kuma being able to use Haki which comes from the will of the user and it means the final operation didn't really snuff out his humanity. Just heavily suppress it... Until Saturn hurting Bonney made Kuma go on an UNYIELDING RAGE at him.
I wanna point out Bonny doesn't actually experience Kuma's memories as Kuma. We may have seen those memories from Kuma's POV, but Bonny is there in the memories as herself watching them play out.
@@G4m3b0y I don't remember exactly which chapter it is, but we see the first time Bonny enters the memory bubble. She's there as herself seeing Kuma as a slave, and is ejected when she sees him get beat up. When we see her at the end of the flashback it's the second time she enters the bubble.
@@G4m3b0y its shown near the end of chapter 1074. she watches the experiences from a distance and wasn't able to psychically get closer or interact in any way
I like this interpretation. It is similar to the back thrust ability performed on VegaPunk prior. In fact, I am starting to notice more and more indication of other Bonney's ability being applied. Firstly, let fixate Saturn's power to that of a Japanese Ushi Oni, that means giant spider that catches your gaze, paralyze you, and drain your life, but otherwise totally lack offensive power. Secondly, establish that Bonney cannot be paralyzed but her life force is still being drained. Thirdly, a matter of personal preference, I prefer my protagonists to be smart rather than otherwise. This means Bonney actually knows Luffy is the current Nika. Shanks knows from day one. Dragon probably. Kuma maybe. VegaPunk definitely knows (see chapter 1069, page 8-9). Notice that VegaPunk promised to tell Bonney everything at the beginning of the current chapter. Lastly, notice the contrast between what was written and what was shown. i. From the moment Saturn said "look at it from my perception", it might be possible that everything else onwards is indeed from Saturn's perception. Bonney may had transported Saturn into a near distorted future. ii. Bonney said she can't force herself to speak anymore, so she begin shrieking, why? To prolong some distraction? iii. Why is she apologizing to her dad?
That Star Treck episode is one of my favorite episodes and having just watched it recently, his time in that life is shown in the episodes that follow. He learned to play that alien flute and even shared his experience with another officer.
I don't think memories work like that. Do you remember everything that ever happened to you. Well I don't, I think it's mostly key memories or what kuma would have remembered.
What if the saturn was replicating luffy's devil fruit , whoms powers were given to bonney by saturn The reason bonney uses it as age age fruit is because she wanted to get to her 10th birthday and using imagination to get old
It's awesome to see gratitude and promotion for the artist's who directly support you and your ideas! Thanks for acknowledging their talent and sharing their style :)
i really was assuming that the necklace that vegapunk gave bonney was the trigger for the awakening of kuma. he called it a protective charm and what can protect you better then a buccaneer robot enhanced to no end
I really dont believe bonney doesnt know luffy is nika Because at the very least bonney will believe in the kuma that believed in luffy, even if she doesnt know for sure that luffy is nika, through her father, she will BELIEVE that luffy is nika
I get why people are saying like “why has Bonney not made the connection between Luffy and Nika yet?” But really the only time she’s had the chance to make the connection is when they first land on Egghead and Bonney asks what that form on his bounty poster is and Luffy just responds with “that’s what I’m like when I’m free” or something like that cause every other time Luffys gone into gear 5 sure Bonney was on the same island but the first time when he fought Lucci she was passed out after getting scared by the bugs and only woke up when he was in his old form going to the upper layer of egghead so no way she could’ve seen it that time and the next time when he fought Kizaru Bonney was knocked down all the way to the bottom of Egghead by Kizaru and then only after that Luffy picked up Kizaru in his hand ALL the way at the very top of Egghead so they were literally on opposite sides of the island and when he was fighting Kizaru all over the island Bonney had to run and hide from Marines the whole time so she was occupied and even during that they weren’t really even close to each other so I feel like that’s the biggest thing people forget cause in the manga panels we’ll see gear 5 Luffy fighting Kizaru and then cut to Bonney doing what she does right after so it seems like there almost right next to each other with the panels, but in reality they’re actually really far apart. If people went back and read it all together I think that becomes pretty obvious. I also think this’ll be shown better in the anime.
This contends with luffys sabaody punch and it really needs to hit. It probably wont do much but it will allow kuma to free bonney and help the straw hats escape.
I'm a stern believer in Kizaru working for Uber Eats now (Why does he look so real in that picture btw, its uncanny in a good way.). But damn mate, the time it takes the machine to make the food never occurred to me. Buuuuhuuuuut at light speed he can collect all the food all around the island, even on ships, doesn't matter, instantaneously.
3:34 When Kuma repels someone else, they have to get to their destination solely based on that initial paw pop, but when he is flying he can adjust direction and add speed as desired by repelling the air around him!
Bonney identifies as an Adult and if we go with the mentally mature theory, then I feel like I am completely in the clear to say: I 100% ship Bonney/Luffy…we need to have a Lufney, cause imagine how powerful they would be together.
One thought that occurred to me about the sapphire necklace was that it could be a trackin device. If so, that might be why Kuma knew how to get to Egghead
what if Caribou wanted to exact revenge on strawhats by attacking Luffy when he couldn't move but he was hit by Saint Saturn's bizarre haki and wasn't able to use his fruit powers. Then all the food inside him comes out and the moment he was about to sneak away kizaru sensed him using haki and that's why he looked like he witnessed something
11:43 I have to disagree cause although doflamingo was created because of his fathers choice to live amongst normal people, he was still rotten to the core
I bet Bonney retconned Kuma, He is now her real father, and changed her own future where her dad sacrifices himself for her, to where he tricked the world goverment for her. Kuma died, but didnt die, he came back because of a change to a timeline, that changes his timeline, Also he is always reading his bible, and resurection do be a part of that lore.
bonny now has those 40 whatever years that she experienced but i feel like because she knew she was about to experience someone else's life while that info flooded into her brain then it may have been viewed like a movie. while shes getting a "you lived this." experience its interpreted by her brain as something like a found film where you watch events from someones view but actively still know its another persons view of an event. thus keeping her full self without any major or outright personality changes until but still now having all that knowledge.
The thing about Kizaru being the one to deliver the food, is that it makes the most sense narratively based on everything that we've seen of him within this arc. 1. He has shown sentimentality towards Sentomaru, Bonnie, and Vegapunk 2. He obviously hesitated to kill them when he could have hit them inside of the vehicle instead of shooting their path 3. It's possible that he is "playing dead" after he got hit by Luffy because even Saturn says that he understands why Kizaru is struggling to get up 4. His position was different in the next panel we see of him, which was right after the panels of Luffy eating food followed by dialogue of "Where did that food come from?". This implies that it basically appeared suddenly. This also lines up as a narrative framing device where a writer communicates an idea simply by placing two scenes next to each other at a fitting time to communicate an idea 5. His character conflict this whole time has been about struggling between feelings and duty and this decision makes sense as his compromise It lines up so naturally that it would be surprising if the food came from someone else
11:25 great insight! Who knows what Saturn has been up to! Also I like that Saturn is being presented as on Vegapunk's lv of anime science intellect, makes him even more of a threat. VP made a way to transfer df powers w out eating a fruit, and so has Saturn. 2 geniuses, 1 super old geriatric spider demon genius, one super old geriatric creepily long-tongued genius; who wins!? 🤯 Next week on 'Super old man that is also a genius Death Battles!'
Okay, so my prediction is this: Kuma will hit Saturn, send him flying and thus breaking the "curse" that keeps Sanji and the others in place. I think it has something to do with his cane. Someone noted that it's strange Saturn is still using his cane, when he obviously doesn't need it for balance. He has 6 spider legs for that. However, he hasn't lifted that thing for a single panel throughout his appearance on Egghead (IIRC). So maybe that's what immobilizes others. On the other hand, maybe they already got blown out of Saturn's AoE by Kuma's laser beam explosions.
One thing: magma reaches temperatures of 1200°C and 1400°C at most for certain types, others reach the modest temperatures of 500 to 700 , it may that kuma robotic parts are made of heat resistant metals, we have Titanium, a very durable metal that can endure temperatures of up to 1600, with its melting point being 1668, so whilst kuma may have had felt pain in that fight, the foot and face may have had been made of a tiranium like material
I believe it has something to do with the necklace: 1. Vegapunk said Kuma said to tell her it will keep her safe. 2. Vegapunk said he can make a flip switch in which one doesn’t have any personality and other he gets personality back. 3. It was showed Kuma got triggered when Bonney was in trouble. 4. Necklace was given before she got in trouble. So I think Vegapunk installed that “switch” in necklace on maybe Kuma’s request that his personality will come back and will know exactly where Bonney is, and has tracking on it too.
Kizaru could have easily teleported to activate the food machines, teleport back , then teleport again to get the food when its done to deliver to Luffy :D
Love this video, thank you so much for making these and inspiring other anime creators like me to continue making videos. I think Vegapunk did have a "personality switch" built in
If you pay close attention to the panel where Luffy was fed, you see a strange goop along the bottom border. The one who fed Luffy was Caribou, our forgotten swamp nakama
Please Oda, after all the pain and suffering that we have read these last few months, both Kuma and us the readers NEED to see Kuma land this punch on Saturn and have some sort of lasting impact!
Also certain that the punch lands and sends saturn flying through buildings. Albeit he has high speed regen. Its basically in line with Luffy punching a celestial dragon, Kuma is one upping him by decking a Gorosei. I think Oda pointing out when Kuma reads the paper about Luffy punching a celestial dragon, kind of foreshadowed this happening.
I like the idea that it only took the strawhats three days of flight to reach their destination because Kuma was careful not to push them so fast that they would be hurt by the landing, but doesn't take the same considerations with his own transportation.
I think it’s more likely that they wrapped the planet multiple times
I think its just for disguise his actions. If they wouldve been faster, the WG just knew that kuma sent them to the Perfect spots
Kumas the Piccolo of one piece
When Kuma is shown it starts with 1 day ago
Kuma doesn't need to consider his safety for landing, he needs to consider the landing zones safety

The agreement between Saturn and Kuma was broken the moment Bonney popped the bubble because they agreed she'd never know the truth behind what happened, but that's exactly what happened and she learned everything. I'm hoping that's what set off any back door contingency for Kuma's memory to be restored.
"The agreement between Saturn and Kuma was broken the moment Bonney popped the bubble"
No, it was broken the moment bonnie escaped. Saturn said that if there was disobedience from either kuma or bonnie then she'd be enslaved.
@@jimbeam-ru1my hmmm this is absolutely true. So at that point literally no one had any obligation to honor the other.
Plus she may not understand a lot of what she's seen since she doesn't have the experience to understand it
Your opinion only holds water if you dont understand how the brain works but have an assumption you hold firmly enough to express as a fact.
Not to mention that the only showing of Bonney experiencing Kuma's memory showed her witnessing it third person. The flashback we received was a proper flashback. Bonney probably saw the same thing and maybe more. But somehow it was from a perspective outside of Kuma

Like what Doflamingo did to Baby 5 was horrible, but he did it to have her be loyal servant to him, Lucci is murderous psychopath, Enel like celestial dragons didnt value others at all
Saturn seems to be relishing in the sadism, like evil itself is the purpose he serves.

I think the 3 day restriction only works on things or people Kuma pops away, but with himself he can just keep up boosting himself to ludicrous speed.
I wonder... When Kuma made his memory bubble, he specifically noted that the bubble was a copy. What if he also made a copy of his personality as well, allowing Vegapunk to erase Kuma's personality while still having a way to return it and also ellude Saturn.
I was definitely thinking this
I have another idea for why Bonney was not able to de-age Saturn.
Maybe why it didn't work is because of his haki...
Saturn says it is because he gave her her power. I wonder if he literally gave her HIS power.
Obviously Kuma 's hat survived due to being a use of ACOC. You are looking at Spotte D. Bearhat.
I am not sure if we know when/where Bonny was born for certain so Saturn might have interacted with bonny after she was born
as for his experiment to give someone a devil fruit power without eating the actual fruit, might have been Saturn trying to find a way to have 2 or more users of the same devil fruit power at the same time or have the user gain the powers but not the weakness
cause Saturn did state that while Bonny got the powers without having to eat the devil fruit, the fruit became useless anyways so I assume Saturn's experiment was still regarded as a failure
On the bright side, if you aren't ready for "This Heartbreaking Finale", you have 3 weeks to prepare for it!

No like imagine if Bonney turns a bunch of people’s future into Nika’s future lol. That’s a problem
Bro law luffy and bonney basically have the same powers. The power of imagination
I'm just ready to see Bonney's reaction when she finds out Luffy is Nika. Would be a bonus if Kuma did too before he passes on.
Kuma knows Luffy and been logging Dragon's,Garp's,and Shank's lazy asses in taking care of Luffy, though😹
For recent reference Kinemon and Kiku knew Luffy, Izo,Asura, and Yasue never met Luffy🌈⭐ 😏
@@M8V3N187That bubble disappeared after Bonney touched it though, so he would have to get another copy out of her newly “implanted” memories.
You die a Buccaneer and are reborn as a mixed Buccaneer-Lunarian? It's not bad at all!! 😂
Thsts pretty messed up, considering that we have seen other Seraphim show signs of being entirely sentient individuals. 😅
Kinda doubt Kuma would be down for functionally murdering and possessing someone, you know?
I know it's unlikely but I would love for him to remain with some goofy looking damage like Don Chinjao 😂

About missing Kuma’s foot. I think you are misreading it. All scenes in Mary Geoise will take place after EggHead incident, that why we can see both legs in 1103 EP.

Just heavily suppress it... Until Saturn hurting Bonney made Kuma go on an UNYIELDING RAGE at him.
Im thinking Kuma made a copy of his personality that Vegapunk held on to to release at right time when Kuma would need to come back.
Picards memories were in fact brought up a few times and he still plays the instrument me learned in those memories in other episodes.
I wanna point out Bonny doesn't actually experience Kuma's memories as Kuma. We may have seen those memories from Kuma's POV, but Bonny is there in the memories as herself watching them play out.
Do we have any other examples of Kuma’s memory bubbles to go off of?
@@G4m3b0y I don't remember exactly which chapter it is, but we see the first time Bonny enters the memory bubble. She's there as herself seeing Kuma as a slave, and is ejected when she sees him get beat up. When we see her at the end of the flashback it's the second time she enters the bubble.
@@G4m3b0y its shown near the end of chapter 1074. she watches the experiences from a distance and wasn't able to psychically get closer or interact in any way
So my understanding of why luffy gets food is from Bonnie's punch on Saturn, because she looks at luffy with the food and said "good it worked"
I still hope that it's Kizaru who gave Luffy lots of food with his speed of light underneath Saturn's nose the whole time.

That Star Treck episode is one of my favorite episodes and having just watched it recently, his time in that life is shown in the episodes that follow. He learned to play that alien flute and even shared his experience with another officer.
Kuma's instincts might have been triggered when Lucci said they should kill Bonney while S-Bear was in the room.
Kuma never lost his memories. He told Vegapunk that it was a copy during the flashback
So much is happening that people forget the Giant Robot that just activated.
Kuma got his memories back once Bonnie interacted with the bubble. It’s popped and Kuma’s memories went back to the owner like a Naruto Shadow Clone

Because at the very least bonney will believe in the kuma that believed in luffy, even if she doesnt know for sure that luffy is nika, through her father, she will BELIEVE that luffy is nika
7:08 Western swine eyes, umm what?
11:34 Why is sandy shocks here lmao
You didn't notice last chapter Kuma threw his first punch weve seen
I second the retcon ability. In fact, she might already be a buccaneer which is why she is immune to Saturn's paralyzing power.
I strongly believe Caribu gave Luffy the food. I also think he has been busy stealing every expensive looking piece of technology on the island.
I feel like Doflamingo would qualify as an evil character. Circumstances sure but he reveled in it
That's exactly what I was thinking, too. Doffy certainly had a shitty childhood, but he was already a bad person and he demonstrably loved being evil.
Is everyone forgetting about the the giant robot?
bonny now has those 40 whatever years that she experienced but i feel like because she knew she was about to experience someone else's life while that info flooded into her brain then it may have been viewed like a movie. while shes getting a "you lived this." experience its interpreted by her brain as something like a found film where you watch events from someones view but actively still know its another persons view of an event. thus keeping her full self without any major or outright personality changes until but still now having all that knowledge.
The thing about Kizaru being the one to deliver the food, is that it makes the most sense narratively based on everything that we've seen of him within this arc.
1. He has shown sentimentality towards Sentomaru, Bonnie, and Vegapunk
2. He obviously hesitated to kill them when he could have hit them inside of the vehicle instead of shooting their path
3. It's possible that he is "playing dead" after he got hit by Luffy because even Saturn says that he understands why Kizaru is struggling to get up
4. His position was different in the next panel we see of him, which was right after the panels of Luffy eating food followed by dialogue of "Where did that food come from?". This implies that it basically appeared suddenly. This also lines up as a narrative framing device where a writer communicates an idea simply by placing two scenes next to each other at a fitting time to communicate an idea
5. His character conflict this whole time has been about struggling between feelings and duty and this decision makes sense as his compromise
It lines up so naturally that it would be surprising if the food came from someone else
The Star Wars clip is the funniest thing I have heard this week. Thank you
Okay, so my prediction is this: Kuma will hit Saturn, send him flying and thus breaking the "curse" that keeps Sanji and the others in place.
I believe it has something to do with the necklace:
So I think Vegapunk installed that “switch” in necklace on maybe Kuma’s request that his personality will come back and will know exactly where Bonney is, and has tracking on it too.
that star wars, The Phantom Menace, reference was so Hilarius!!!! I had to stop the video to lough!
Kizaru could have easily teleported to activate the food machines, teleport back , then teleport again to get the food when its done to deliver to Luffy :D
True. Though Caribou could have already got all the food inside of his swamp-like body
Nah, he exudes light when he moves so probably not, but the only saving grace would be the surprise factor and saturn not expecting him to move
One Piece got the best out of context conversations ever like the biggest and most hype mystery right now is" who fed Luffy". XD
Isn't it stated that the bubbled memories are a copy of his original memories? So I would rule out the possibility the bubble returned Kuma's memories
True. Also Kuma says that once someone touches the memory bubble, it will just disappear
Loved the Star Wars clip. Did not see it coming and really cracked me up how well it fits
I love giratina just chillin in the back 11:48
11:48 that giratina in the back had me laughing for a moment
