Never had one previously but those that have them swear by them and over time it saves a lot of money on having to lift out and anti foul etc as the boat doesn’t get wet on the dock to get dirty!
@@Andysfishon I think they’re quiet expensive but worth weighing it up, will also protect the boat abit more in storms as it’s the dock getting rocked about and bounced not the boat.
Hi, thanks for sharing. I thinking of buying a QuickSilver 640 so wondering how easy to get on and off the Tetradock ? How many blocks is on your Tetradock to support the boat ? Is there anything you don't like about the boat ? Does it handle well in choppy seas ? Sorry so many questions but do not want change boat and find I should have bought a different one. Thanks for all your video which are very helpfull as I am fairly new to all this boat fishing. Tight Lines. Bob
Hi Bob how are you!? I’m about to do a review video of the 640 shortly which will answer most of those questions but it’s an exceptional boat mate. The dock is easy to get on and off, abit daunting the first time you do it just because it’s something new obviously but it’s really really easy and makes solo fishing a breeze to park up. I’m not sure how many blocks there are I shall count up for you but the company you can just phone up and they will tell you exactly what you need they’re really helpful.
@@theamputeeangler Looking forward to seeing that. I have seen a couple for sale but all tend to be very old models (early 2000's). Appreciate they don't make these anymore but worried about buying an old boat and then having problem. How old is your as it looks good ?
I am just waiting on a clear day not tipping it down to go film it they’re few and far between at the minute! Mines a 2009 model but she’s well looked after but the modern GRP these days lasts an eternity and as long the engines are looked after well they go on for years and years.
I know the boat is capable of handling big seas, but how far have you gone offshore or would feel comfortable going in your boat ? Just a thought following on from your recent video about inshore wrecks not producing until April so would be nice to be able to fish Jan to March.
@@targetfishing5286 no need to share fuel cost mate, I spend my summer out back and beyond regardless if anyone is with me or not and It’s my favourite fishing so honestly you just need to hop on and bring some boat snacks for the journey 👌🏻
Hey Ross thank you mate she’s a great boat I’m well happy with her. I never push her that hard as I’m not normally in a rush but she goes 20knots comfortable with two good sized blokes onboard and full kit and two anchors and chain stowed and that’s at 4500 RPM or just under.
Congratulations man , that's a sweet looking vessel 😍 enjoy !! Looking forward to yr next video 👍
Thanks matey 😃
love it ,
Cracking little boats the quicksilver 👍🏻
My first one this one, had a few boats in my time but these like you say get great reviews so hoping to get some great runs on her this year 🙂
@@theamputeeangler a friend of mine has 1 and they really are good boats! I have a Mitchell 31 mk2 if I ever down sized it’s what I would go for
Congratulations 👍👌
Thank you Tam 🙂
Nice setup bud and love the idea of the pontoon, keeping your bottom clean.😂👍👍
