Happy Day, Friends! NAME REVEAL VIDEO IS GOING UP TOMORROW!!! We are so excited to share the name of our baby with you all!!! Also, what kind of videos would you like to see with us being new parents?! Thank you so much for all your support over the last few weeks, it has been overwhelming 💕
Specifically? Changing diapers, baby's bath time, waking up early morning or dawn and of course baby's first smile, first laugh and so on. Really wanna see your reactions.😊😊
Ahhhh she's so perfect! Jess, if nobody's mentioned it yet, you might want a breast feeding bracelet. It's to help remind you what breast to start feeding her with and then put it on your other wrist when you're done. That way you don't have to try to remember what side she fed on last. It's especially helpful for those feedings during the night so you don't have to try and remember what side to start on when you're tired and half asleep lol. A lactation specialist gave me one and it was a life saver! Congratulations to you both again!
Breastfeeding is rewarding and it hurts. Natural things hurt. The first 2 weeks hurt but by week 3 you will start to feeling better. Keep sharing. It helps to talk about it.
Ughh! You guys are amazing. That sweet effervescence you guys have tugs at our heart strings. So happy to have been a part of your journey. That's sweet little girl you have there
AHAHAHA Austin going “YASSSSS” at a watermelon baby hat is just a sign he’s ready to be a dad, Jess and Austin your gonna be the greatest parents 💕 Edit: NAWW SHES ADORABLE
When baby poops, leave her for about 5 or 10 minutes more, dont change her diapers instantly because they need time to poo everything out. You can help her poo by doing exercises with her legs.
BerinaL120 I have a baby girl 1 week old and this was so helpful for me. Thank you 🙏😊 Beacuse everytime I changed her within 10 min she poops the clean diaper 😕 Ps: I'm a young mom ,don't judge me 😆
i was the same way with my breastmilk. it always came in so intense. it takes a few weeks to regulate for sure, but if its super uncomfortable pump a little to help ease the pain. she is sooo stinking cute!
If it hurts..make sure she has latched on ok...it helps to let her reattach. I nursed for a year, and I can still vividly remember everything involving the experience. Bless your heart. Your baby is just adorable. Connie from Fla.
You may already know this and someone may have also said this but a great way to keep baby happy when taking photos is to have her on your chest, so lay under a blanket or sheet and have her snuggled up on your chest, this should keep her settled and warm. It's been a joy watching you two blossom over this pregnancy and it definitely makes me excited to one day have my own little family. xx
Grt idea to let baby and you work out milk supply You always have the pump for latter so that Austin can give her a bottle once she gets feeding established first. You guys are doing so well and baby gal was so chilled at doctors exam xxx
It's such a good thing when your little one can latch right away it helps out so much my son had Paralysis on his face so he couldn't latch and I could only breastfeed for 3 months and it was heartbreaking when I was just not producing enough for him just keep it up you guys are amazing I love watching!
A nipple shield will help with the latching pain, also nipple cream after every feeding will help reduce chaffing and pain as well. That first week is always the hardest. Your doing great!
You guys are such a cute family. It all seems so natural. Every thing has fallen into place as it should. You guys are doing great. Definitely want to see Cam and his family with Baby Spomer. It would be cute to see some Mommy and Me classes or Daddy and Me classes. Thanks for letting us be part of your world.
I love ya'll so much! I love waking up and getting to see y'alls little family stories! Ya'll are doing such a great job and I'm praying for ya'll daily!
Jess if you are really sore get a cabbage. Peel the leaves and keep in the fridge. When my daughters had their babies the maternity ward kept the cabbage leaves in the fridge for the mums,it really works. Baby Spomer is gorgeous and she rocks her watermelon hat.❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm so excited to be able to view this exciting time in your lives. I have 2 children and remember the fun newborn times. They go fast! Everyone will tell you that!
happy day to you three! I’m so glad baby is happy and healthy and the watermelon hat is adorable 😭 she’s so cute and tiny I just wanna cuddle and gently squish her 😍
Wow I remember watching you both from the beginning with my sister Yasmine. It’s so amazing seeing you both married and now you have a little one. Congratulations! I definitely shed some tears. You’re such a beautiful family. Thank you for sharing your journey. Again, congratulations! 💜💜
Loved the video !! And thank you for putting the cart on its correct space and not leaving it on the side. Also she is so aaaaddddoooooorrrrraaaaabbbblllleeeeeee ♡♡♡♡
My mum was dying laughing - I watched this while she was driving and of course she’s been through it 21 years ago so can relate 😂💖 She’s so gorgeous. So blessed to watch her!
The video of when you found out at Christmas came up in the suggestions so I watched it and it just makes me so happy. I'm truly happy for you guys. You deserve it!
I couldn’t click on this video fast enough I’m so excited for you guys! And I love the updates and seeing her adorable face 😭 y’all are doing amazing !
jess i remember those first latching days like they were yesterday lol i was actually nursing in the rocking chair and grabbed the curtain to bite down on lol weird i know but it worked! just remember the first two months are the hardest but after that is a walk in the park! if you need breastfeeding advice i can answer any questions you have! my son is almost 15 months old still nursing and i’m 9 weeks pregnant! eek
Omg she is so freaken adorable. Some newborns look like squishy aliens but she doesn't. She's absolutely perfect!!!! I can't wait to hear her name. You two are amazing parents.
Hey, Jess. I remember when my milk first came in after my oldest was born. It hurt sooo bad! I was so engorged, my breasts were hard and lumpy. Ugggh! A nice warm shower helps A LOT! And hand express just enough to relieve the pressure while you're in the shower. I was in tears, it hurt so bad. It gets so much easier though, I promise! You and baby girl are naturals. Keep up the good work, Mama! And, Austin, you're doing amazing! Good job, Daddy! She's so dang cute!!! 💓💓
I hate that you’re in pain but also it’s kind of nice to know I wasn’t the only one! All I heard was how wonderful breastfeeding is! It’s so beautiful and magical! Well, for me it hurt like crazy for the first couple of weeks!!!! And I poured milk on all my clothes! I used maxi pads in my bra to try to contain the leakage because the breast pads were a joke! I could always tell when my son was hungry even before he made a noise!!! Hahahahaha. Good luck to you and I hope it gets easier soon.
Breastfeeding still hurts. My daughter is 9 months old and it’s like pins and needles for letdown... but then the entire time she nurses the joints throughout my whole body ache. This happened with my son too. My best advice for the chapping and cracking is to squeeze a little of your milk onto the area and let it air dry then follow that with a generous amount of lanolin or coconut oil.
BEKord well I wasn’t being rude. Just saying that yes, some insurances pay for a pump but usually it’s state insurance and it has to be the pump the insurance wants to pay for. I have a 6 month old plus 5 others from 17 down to a 2 year old 😊
Yes, do this! I got a pump through my insurance just a month ago. I had tons of options, and most were 100% covered, and they were good, expensive options as well. Otherwise, you could always just get a manual hand pump.
Congrats you two! She is beautiful! One thing my doc told me is that the only blanket that is safe for them early on is a swaddler. First Years makes a nipple butter that is crazy helpful. It is safe for them to eat so you don't have to wash it off. My little one is currently 3 months old so I know what your going through. Your doing great! The breastfeeding pain goes away in no time. It's just uncomfortable for a little while before your body can regulate. A book that is really helpful is The Family Friendly Vaccine Plan. It contains a few things that you will have to start thinking about soon. It's really handy. Dr. John Bergman has a youtube channel that is wonderful as well. Congrats again! I can tell you two will make awesome parents!
Congratulations Guy's She is adorable 🌹👶 God bless u all always #AustinJess Tips to make a lot of milk eat plenty of green veggie and healthy soup...🤱 #Welcome to the parenthood Austin&Jess.... Hugs & kisses baby girl.... 😘😘
GREAT JOB BABY S,,,BEAUTIFUL,,,💞💞💞💞💞JESS YOU ARE LOOKING GREAT,,Y'ALL HAVEN'T STOP SMILING SINCE SHE CAME HOME WHAT A TRUE BLESSING BABY S--IS SO OVER THE MOON FOR Y'ALL.💞💞💞💞
If it's sore to breastfeed, get some lanolin. It's safe for baby to ingest so you don't need to worry before she latches on. Omg! I remember my first time breastfeeding. I would scream into a pillow and just cry it hurt so bad. I felt your pain. Also I was cracking up at her pooping twice while you're trying to leave. Trust me, there are worse times she could have picked. Lol! Welcome to parenthood. It's honestly so much fun!!!💗
Yay momma! So happy for you and that everything with the breastmilk is going well for you. It really is such a blessing. With my first I was in the same boat as you, milk came in 2 days after and yes it was a bit painful up until about 2/3 months. Once you get regulated it’ll go away, or more so you get used to it because you’ll be constantly engorged if she is feeding all the time. With my second I wasn’t so lucky and I was so depressed because of it. I’m glad you are not in that boat though and I hope everything keeps going as smooth as it has been for y’all. Blessings 🙏🏼💕
Thank you for all the updates and sharing! I loved the video when she told you she was pregnant and to see you guys so happy is awesome! Can’t wait to find out her name! She is beautiful and no you guys are right her feet are the cutest thing ever!
You are the cutest family!! My son would poop everytime we’d get in the car for the first month it was so annoying lol So happy she doesn’t have jaundice it’s the worst when they have to get tested every day until it’s gone! I know everyone gives crazy breast feeding advice but there’s a few I found very valuable! Pump one boob while you feed and you’ll trick your body into creating a lot extra for storage! I started gettin 8oz of spare milk right away! Eat a high fat diet so your milk isn’t too watery and she will get fuller and sleep longer. Coconut oil for nips is better than ointments since it tastes better to baby and won’t cause itching from clogged pores. Pump before you shower or you’ll leak a bunch right down the drain!

Breastfeeding is rewarding and it hurts. Natural things hurt. The first 2 weeks hurt but by week 3 you will start to feeling better. Keep sharing. It helps to talk about it.
Thank you for being so real about how latching at the begging is so painful!!
Ughh! You guys are amazing. That sweet effervescence you guys have tugs at our heart strings. So happy to have been a part of your journey. That's sweet little girl you have there

Dang! I wish I had thought of maxi pads for that. I would fill up the pads before I could even make it out of the house.

She is so beautiful, im glad you had your milk come in, baby is gonna ned it. :)
Check health insurance most pay for pumps now you may be able to get reimbursed :)
BEKord they only cover certain pumps
Katie Cushing I was commenting just so they can look into it. :) my son is almost 16, so it’s been a long time since I’ve done any baby stuff.
BEKord well I wasn’t being rude. Just saying that yes, some insurances pay for a pump but usually it’s state insurance and it has to be the pump the insurance wants to pay for. I have a 6 month old plus 5 others from 17 down to a 2 year old 😊
