Good job! I still have the oem top, it's a little tired but looks OK. Maybe I will change mine soon because I thought its alot harder. Thanks for sharing your good work 💪
I think your second rail from the front is resting on it's stop. My top's 2nd flap would not align with the 2nd rail unless I reattached the webbing to keep that rail up more. That rail height took the slack out of the roof at the 2nd rail.
I used a contact cement glue that I found at my local hardware store, but the companies that sell these soft tops usually can recommend a specific glue to use. The car is not in the US so I had to improvise.
The video is good for someone with some experience. Show the work as you do it. Telling us and showing when it’s finished is not showing us anything. I did not like it. Just my opinion
Did one of these tops today. The difficulty in getting a 100% job is that the installation depends too much on adhesives and not enough on mechanical fasteners. Overall, I am not impressed with this car after having owned it for approx. 5 years. Mercedes, in my opinion is overrated & overpriced. The electrical system also sucks.
Thanks man. I need a Covid project and this is it. Great job explaining.

I agree, what's the point of making a video when its not showing the full process.
