Fantastic - thank you very much for posting this excellent overview of the MT-48! To think that this is only the beginning of Neumann’s ventures into interfaces is exciting. Plenty of software and functionality updates are most likely in the pipeline and other form factors as well. The future of interfaces looks exciting! Thanks again and greetings from Spain!
Cheers mate!! Thanks a lot for your feedback! That is very true, step by step Neumann is targeting different sections of this industry such as speaker manufacturing, studio headphones and many more. For sure it is exciting times to be alive just because of the amount of options that we keep on having these days ,but also because of all different kind of partnerships between companies (such as Neumann x Merging Technologies) the bar and the quality is being raised. 🔥🔥
Hello, I read your review well. I am a buyer of mt48. I have a question. Can't I hear the reverb in the recorded source? I don't think I can adjust the reverb. Please give me your valuable answer. Thank you.
Thanks for the question!! From what I've personally noticed from the amount of testing that I was able to make, there was no difference. I did not dive in too much into this while testing but the sound quality recording on the iPad Pro was amazing! 🙌🙌
Max 48kHz and 32 streams to/from Dante doesn’t cut it at all unfortunately. Native Ravenna and aes67 is just waaay to obscure in the music world. I really hope they make a proper Dante-version. And soon!
Thanks for the feedback mate! I'm not sure exactly if that is part of Neumann's plan, but we can see a trend regarding the "Ethernet" connectivity ( Neumann speakers via Aes67 etc ) and also as far as we are aware, Neumann aims to make their products user friendly and also easy to use. ✌✌ In the meantime, here is the link that might help other users regarding the conectivity between AES67 and Dante:betadownload.merging.com/download/Docs/Connect_MT48_and_Dante_AES67_devices.pdf
Hello and thanks for the question! You can always use your UA Plugins either by using UAD Spark, or by using UAD-2 Satellite. Do you have a UA Soundcard (Apollo, Volt) or a Satellite?
@@Holysci22 If you have or plan on having the MT48 as part of your setup we would recommend you the UA Satellite; You can choose the Quad or the Octo version depending on the budget and the amount of UA Plugins that you are using. If you only use plugins such as Studer A800, Pultec EQ, LA-2A or 1176 I would recommend you the UA Connect Subscription without any hardware. But in this situation you have to make sure that you PC or Mac (CPU) is strong enough. ✌✌
@@hanaroadstudios Thank you so much for your response. I will definitely look into it. I’ve heard nothing but great things about this new interface and hope to one day have one in my own personal studio.
Salut Andy !
thank you for this detailed review!😍
