you know when someone makes a career out of poisoning their 14 year old stepdaughter and her seven friends its hard to feel pity when they accidentally drink their own poison. I suppose its the don't stoop to their levels kinda deal going on.
Another good wrong effect in the potions game would've been Prince Aladdin flying out of the cauldron on a carpet and stopping next to Snow White to ask her if she wanted to him to show her the world. But Jiminy Cricket tells him she can't do that right now since she can't see anything with her eyes closed. So he tells her to go find someone else.
Jimmy: Sorry Aladdin, it would be nice to fly on the magic carpet with you. But you’re looking for Jasmine, this here’s the story of Snow White and the seven dwarfs.
1:19 Lady, he has a hook for a hand that he can easily use to stop me from stabbing him (and probably gut me as well) so I wouldn't say he's unarmed. He doesn't need the sword.
Okay not running Captain Hook through when you have the chance I can _kinda_ understand, since the story of Peter Pan isn't supposed to involve him dying. But the Evil Queen DOES die in the movie, so c'mon, that should be fine! Not to mention it's an even more karmic death for her than just falling off a cliff in the rain-- instead she's tricked into poisoning herself just like Snow White was, and since she's so rotten, there's no chance of anyone waking her up with True Love's Kiss! "Oh but good guys aren't supposed to cause anyone's death, even villains!" Well guess who chased the Evil Queen off the cliff in the original ending? That's right, the seven dwarves! Who are good guys! So nyeh! xP
@@computergenius4070 Yeah but she still _died_ so my point is it wouldn't cause any like, continuity problems in the story. Captain Hook doesn't die at all in the original story, so if he died in our revision it would be an anomaly. Also, even if there was no lightning bolt, the dwarves still had her cornered on the edge of a cliff, undoubtedly with the intention of driving her off of it.
I always got Cinderella's prince when I tried to use the green apple in the love potion instead of the red poison one. I knew the Blue Fairy would appear if you tried to attack Hook, but I didn't know about the other ones. Neat.
To think I've been playing this game since I was a kid and never knew you could change the aging potion let alone see even half of these clips! Thanks for sharing! (I thought you could only conjure Prince Charming with carnation petals as opposed to roses, but good to know the sun and moon star work too!)
Another good wrong effect in the potions game would've been Prince Philip (Sleeping Beauty) trying to kiss Snow White to wake her up but Jiminy Cricket tells him that he's got the wrong girl.
There's one more hilarious Easter egg! If you switch the "cactus juice" for "magnesium sulfate" in the sleeping death recipe, you'll summon Prince, the pop star! XDD
0:33 How many times I did that out of frustration (my first PC was so old the volume was automatically equalized and I could barely figure out the right path to Alice's head). To add insult to injury, the face of the Queen of Hearts engulfing the camera with her signature scream over and over again was so unnerving I eventually said "Screw this, off with their heads my ass" and I left the game unfinished. This is an example of how dated hardwares make games unwinnable.
The Blue Fairy: Pulls you from the book and chews you out for not being a fair fighter if you strike Hook when he has no sword Also The Blue Fairy: Has no issue sitting on her rear as Hook sends 20+ Pirates at you in a 1 on 1 sword fight
The Blue Fairy likes being Mrs. No Fun, doesn't she? Like, I get scolding you for tormenting Dumbo and following the White Rabbit instead of Alice’s voice, but come _on._ Hook isn’t unarmed, he literally has a hook for a hand! And I’m sorry, but the Evil Queen totally deserves to be poisoned.
I played this game straight through as a kid and always thought it was disappointing that the Queen of Hearts never appeared in the Alice in Wonderland mission while the other villains in the other missions did. But now that I've seen this video, I guess she did if you did the mission wrong. But it has to suck since it is the longest mission to complete in the whole game.
@Jgirl207 I've only recently learnt you could put a poisoned apple in the Evil Queen's aging potion. When I first bought this game about 10 years ago, I just played it straight through but when I was recording it to put on RUclips I was told by a fellow member about the poisoned apple :)
Wow, I never knew about the Cinderella prince's cameo. I suppose that's because I never thought about substituting Moonstar for Sunstar; I always assumed that the potion would simply not work.
@NDLady1985 I'm in complete agreement with you, now that's what I call getting a taste of your own medicine. Evil Queen drinking her own poisoned apple is always good for a few laughs.
Hello your highness I’m sorry for not welcoming you for your visit, but you’re looking for Cinderella, this princess you tried the glass slipper on is Snow White. Prince Charming: Snow White?! @@Yamislittleangel55 Except that a thunderbolt dealt the finishing blow. One of the unwritten rules of Disney movies is that the villain must die/be defeated by their own actions unless there's no other way to dispose of them (e.g. Eric impaling a trident-powered giant Ursula, the hyenas mauling a crippled Scar alive and Hercules sending his immortal uncle straight into the River of Death). That's what makes the Evil Queen's death morally wrong by Disney standards.
