She should've came into AEW as a heel. Her presentation would've made a lot more sense

@xddddddddddd4646 every big star gets cheered in their debut, not that hard to book them as a heel after that.
Plus she debuted in her hometown, so OF COURSE, she was gonna get cheered...
She's been a heel the entire build and she's been leaning into it but yeah the crowd was trying to get themselves over.

Mone has been a heel since she started on AEW. It's not a secret. Look at attitude, her approach, and how she is playing the role. It's heel lite but it's still heel. She ate that heat. The only ones that don't notice are the ones who are overly attracted to her. She's a beautiful bad guy, but she's still bad.
I hope the Mercedes HEEL turn is for real and not just a New York sports thing (they were chanting "F-CK the CELTICS" and "F-CK the RED SOX"). All of her promos are super HEEL. Britt Baker came out of the babyface tunnel, so I hope they keep that dynamic. Nobody is going to boo a returning Baker.
Mercedes Mone' was booed at the UBS Center because she's from Boston, MA.
Everyone knows that New York and Boston have mutual beef for years.

Britt wouldn't be my first option, but I get it. That USB Arena / Nassu County Coliseum hasn't been too kind to Sasha/Mercedes... if ya know ya know.

She's been counted out a bunch in her career from what she can't do or isn't good at. But she's did alright for herself financially. Just about every wrestling promotion wanted her (and fans and turned on her because of stupid tribalism) while she was a free agent, then once she signs the hate comes.
It blows my mind how some will call overrated blah blah blah. They always have something to say about her in negative way. If she's ain't s**t why care.
You'd think she was pushed to the moon the majority of her career. Before the pandemic she was working tag or 6 women tags in the third hour of Raw. Never spotlighted. She was just used to put over Vince's favorites time and time again.
Ronda had nothing to do for the Rumble heat up Sasha just to lose while Ronda goes on to main event Mania. Cases like that through out her career.
Becky fresh off a horrible fued with Lacey Evans, bring in Sasha to lose at Night of Champions and Hell In a Cell. Then does nothing after that.
Was supposed to be the sole survivor at Survivor Series, nope, Nia was and that's according to Nia.
Was supposed to wrestle Charlotte at WM, nope, Charlotte politicd to wrestle Ronda. Remember the Belt Gate with Charlotte & Becky. They stick her in tag team with Naomi out of the blue.
Never has she successfully defended singles in front of live crowd on the main roster. Did it at Full Sail a couple of times in 2015 in front 300 people.
Vaq - her not Vacor . And she was a big surprise to me ,sad that she lost not surprised the crowd cheered her.
Vaquer is a legit great in-ring talent - would not be surprised if she jump ship outside of Mexico in the future

The belt was made for her. If Cena went down with an injury and was supposed to win the belt the night he went down with injury... what do you think would happen once he returned.
There's pictures of her holding the belt backstage in the night she got in the same ring gear she wore in the Willow match.

Also I highly doubt she has creative control, more like imput. Like the Bucks, Omega, Jericho, Danielson. MJF etc.

@@reactWRESTLING yes I saw that, but I really doubt she meant it like that. She also said her and TK work closely together. I truly doubt she has that, because if she does I seriously doubt she's the only one. First three ppl who'd I think have that is Jericho, MJF & Danielson.
And if she does have it, it's not self serving. She's one that always wants to give back. Just look at her matches she'll let her opponents shine and get over and that's just from a match standpoint. If you watch or listen to her interviews a good chunk of it is about elevating Women's Wrestling. Her and Bayley's motto has always been, Leave this place better than when came into it, that's me paraphrasing.... She's not a 'that doesn't work for me brother' type.

@@992porter Everyone points to takeover brookyln which was essentially before her main roster career began and her and bayley practiced that match daily for weeks before it happened you should have a massive body of work of her main roster feuds right?
