The year is 1907. It is 10 years after his disappearance from the Paris Opera House and the Phantom has escaped to a new life in New York where he lives amongst the screaming joy rides and freak-shows of Coney Island. In this new electrically-charged world, he has finally found a place for his music to soar. All that is missing is his love - Christine Daaé. Now one of the world’s finest sopranos, Christine is struggling in an ailing marriage to Raoul. So, it is with excitement she accepts an invitation to travel to New York and perform at a renowned opera house. In a final bid to win back her love, the Phantom lures Christine, her husband, and their young son Gustave from Manhattan; to the glittering and glorious world of Coney Island… not knowing what is in store for them…

I love watching this today, because he says he doesn't consider himself famous but now he most certainly is! And he also said he wanted to go to Canada and the US - He's done so now, multiple times at beautiful venues! And he's gone to Malaysia, Sweden, Japan, Ireland, and other places! He's become so successful, and he was already so successful at the time of this video. (:

Ahhh, another great video! Absolutley love 'Love Never Dies' and POTO aswell, and of course Ramin Karimloo :D Saw him as an understudy when I saw POTO, saw him when I saw Love Never Dies and on the Les Miserables 25th anniversary concert aswell (possibly the best Enjolras I've ever seen)! XD Love him and his voice soo much!

I think Ramin should defiantly come to the Untied States and play the Phantom when (I'm not saying "if", that would break my heart) Love Never Dies finally premieres here. That would make my life to see him doing that :D
Yeah, Ramin is Persian. It was probably more a reference to that than the character from Leroux novel.
