I have a doubt,
In the last section of this video, you have installed apache server and created a html file in private EC2 instance right.. But you loaded the web page by using public EC2 instance IP (public IPV4)...
How the public EC2 instance triggered the index.html file present in Private EC2 instance ? We have just allowed private EC2 instance to accept the requests from the public EC2 instance via security group attached to private EC2 instance..
My question is how the connection got estabilished through web, when you ran public EC2 instance ip.. it loaded the index.html file present in private instance

i have a few question
1. if we care creating private subnets why we need public ip adresses for ec2 instances
subnet is like a room, ec2 instances are like devices inside your room (iPad, phone, laptop etc), so even if they are in private subnet they need to have a public IP (IPHONE 15) and private IP (MAC address of your phone), even we may not be able to connect to the ec2 in private subnet with public address, its AWS default convention to give any instance a Public and private IP, and main reason is for AWS administrative purposes, updates etc was uses its public IP for inside access..

Why don't we use windows? Instead of linux?
We can use windows or mac too. It depends on customers requirements and choice. In my case I choose linux, if you have Windows requirements, try windows.

Most of the applications use linux os as it is lite weight compared to windows os.
