Then i saw your video on one and thats when i got some extra money and spent $450 for a brand new Rock island Armory 1911A1 FS with a 8 round mag and i got a 10 round mag for it same time on my birthday as a present to myself. All submachine guns are especially screwed over by the NFA. Rifles have large enough, armor penetrating rounds that it doesn't matter, but sub guns draw their advantage from delivering 3-7 smaller rounds in an instant while remaining controllable and compact. That's even before factoring in the 16inch barrel rule and pistol grips, folding stocks and other "illegal" parts the standard submachine gun likes to have.

When I drove tanks for The Army back in 1981-1986 we had the M3AI .45 cal SMG as part of our issue for the tank. We had two per vehicle because at that time there were no short M-4's. I swear that was such a blast shooting the Grease Gun. Always felt like the longer you held the trigger down the faster it fired! LOL
The charging handle isn't stiff. If you read in the owner's manual, it tells you to grab the charging handle as close to the chassis as possible with your fingers. Then it will not have any issues being pulled back. When you pull from the outside, you're causing the bolt to kind of twist a little bit to the side which is what creates the stiff feel. Also, use grease over oil, I found that everything just feels so much smoother with grease than oil. I learned this tip from a guy that uses these with his security firm.
I recently switched to using grease for all the slidey bits in all my guns, and the difference is very noticeable. Even my Keltec CP33 stopped jamming.
@@prohendo I've been using Lucas lithium grease, but there are many other options that also work great. I also don't shoot full auto, so I'm unsure about how it'll handle a really high heat.
The Kriss Vector is like my personal favorite unicorn gun. It’s in so many video games, and yet i could probably never own it real life. It’s such a strange design inside and out, i love it so much
I'm with the other guy on this one. I got one in 10mm off of GunBroker and paid $1,200 for it. Hell, might even came with three extended magazines, a standard Glock mag, an under barrel laser (a bit shit really), and a fairly decent range scope. It's available in four calibers, five colors, and almost four different styles and generations. Live your vector dream my friend, it is a wonderful gun to own
I somehow managed to miss a cursed gun video from 3 years ago, it was a bit wild to see how far you have come in that time. Keep moving forward & keep moving up Brandon 🍻🍻
Army taught me to shoot with a 6-9 round burst (about as fast as you can say it, then let up) when I trained on the M249, and that allowed me to qualify as an expert every time I had to requalify. I know I had a lot more barrel to help with recoil (and .556), but that thing looks FUN!! This makes me want to FINALLY go get my type 7 FFL. I’d love one of those chambered in .45 auto, so keep shooting! 👍👍
I feel betrayed to this day, I'm still disappointed Kriss never put out a rifle variant. I was always hyped to see that happen to see a new rifle revolution. But no, they dropped it off before it ever hit the market. Or some secret government agency buys them all.
@@stevexracer4309 Yeah totally not sexual at all, the tentacle just tickles her lips as she straddles it between her legs and clasps her bosom before it forces her to hard to the floor in a demonstration of the jiggle physics. Nothing remotely sexual about any of that. What is a softcore?
the Kriss vector and the p90 are my two favorite fire arms from media and id love to fire them and learn how to handle them correctly. so a breakdown of both on your channel was incredibly enjoyable to see.
As a fellow Vector owner, I need to say a couple things. The 45ACP mags are factory G21 13 round mags with the Kriss +17 extension. Cant say for sure on the SMG(because the NFA is blatantly unconstitutional) but for the semi-auto only models you can just buy extra Upper Receivers off Kriss's site and have them shipped straight to your door since the serialized half is the lower.
I suspect the reason the upper is the serialized part on the full auto version is because of the select fire trigger group. I doubt that the semi auto uppers have the ability to accept the fire control group from the full auto versions, thus allowing Kriss to make the lowers serialized on the semi auto variants.
@@ethanmcgowan6926 Looking inside mine I'm pretty sure its a complete FCG inside the upper and some extra work on a blank spot in the upper. Not sure how they'd serialize it, but they do have an official statement on their site saying if you need FA parts you have to contact customer service directly and have your SMG serial number ready.
Thanks, I'm not the only one lol Pretty scandalous me thinks! The Japanese back at it again with the tentacles. I could describe in more graphic detail what our eyes are telling us, but it wouldn't get published
Fucking tell me about it. I had to two stamp mine in order to get it anywhere close to how this weapon was actually designed. Plus, I think it would just be a certain kind of fun to run my 10 mil vector in full auto. Can't think of many 10 mm submachine guns now that I think about it
THANK YOU! Love seeing the full-tilt-boogie Vector in action! I have a .45 Kriss, my one and only SBR with the folding stock. Love it! I bought it as a pistol, installed the light kit into the front and sent a few magazines worth of rounds through it. Got to thinking, ya know, this gun was designed with folding stock, it NEEDS the folding stock. Got the form and the stock and it's good to go!
There's a reason why people would talk shit and make fun saying "Oh, I see you're using the crutch gun" if you ran a Kriss Vector in your COD Loadouts in the OG MW2 days. it's even funnier when you do the Akimbo perk with it and you spray duel wielding them. but by god did I get a lot of nukes with that gun.
In 04, when the AWB ended, I was having a GS who was an Armorer for 2 NC SWAT teams do some work on an AR10 Swan Sleeve that I reversed and placed on a Railed 308 Galil Gas Tube. I was getting it set for a Millennium Light and Laser. He adored that gun, which had the Chuck Taylor Mods. Commented about it over his M1A. Commented about being a SWAT team armorer and he refused to own an AR. I stated that the Police did not need an AR223556, and they needed a Suppressed 45 subgun with internal compensation and rails for lights and lasers and Red Dots. This was so that the Officers could be easily suppressed and make as little noise as possible, while their subject would be making a lot of noise. The final spec given which became this gun was that it had to feed with Glock 45ACP mags to fit my chosen pistol. Still, the GTW rifle was the Galil in 308 with the skull crushing FAL Para Stock. (He was flipped out about that.) By 2007 all M1A and M14 rifles loaned out by DoD were recalled into the EBR Program, and the Kriss Vector was introduced. It fed with my Glock Mags, and was the easily suppressible 45.
"Possible White Claw DP in 3...2...1". Something I never thought I would hear on this channel. Fuck, who am I kidding! Brandon probably watched the same Lisa Ann video I did this morning.
we have 2 vectors at our gun range. And its my job to fix them every time the bolt explodes. Kriss refuses to change their design even though weve brought the flaws to them and potential solutions. On average, we break a bolt every 1200 rounds
@tearstoneactual9773 titanium wouldnt be ideal here. Titanium is great for heat dissipation and doesnt warp under heat. But its prone to cracking under changing load pressures. the bolt's steel is actually not the problem. The issue is the geometry of the bolt has a very sharp fracture point. of the 3 bolts weve grenaded last year, all of them broke in the exact same place. I personally drafted 2 changes that would either solve or severely reduce the problem, but kriss doesnt care and I dont have the machinery on hand to make my own proofs.
@@theduke7539 We made the first 500 of the bolts when they were developing the gun. I believe we still have the prints. If you want to update them I might be able to help you out.

a wise man from the internet has said "submachine guns are basically cracked up pistols" so the Kriss Vector is a pistol that decided that a second to unload 30 rounds is more than enough

Owner's Manual? Pfft.
I recently switched to using grease for all the slidey bits in all my guns, and the difference is very noticeable. Even my Keltec CP33 stopped jamming.
@@paulis7319 what kind of grease should i use for my vector?

@@prohendo I've been using Lucas lithium grease, but there are many other options that also work great. I also don't shoot full auto, so I'm unsure about how it'll handle a really high heat.
The Kriss Vector is like my personal favorite unicorn gun. It’s in so many video games, and yet i could probably never own it real life. It’s such a strange design inside and out, i love it so much
Dude they aren't even that expensive. I got one last year. $1300 bucks. It has actually became one of my favorite guns in my collection.
Live your vector dream my friend, it is a wonderful gun to own
Be aware: the non-NFA versions suck. The 16inch barrel with a faux-suppressor aesthetic makes them so friggin front heavy and unpleasant to hold.
@ulrickts they make short non-nfa versions with a brace
Look into the 22 ones, they're cheaper than the normal ones, and are pretty nice too
“To cowabunga it is” has got to be my favorite way of putting it yet😂😂

A Kriss Vector, Grease Gun, and an AN-94 get a hotel room...
Brandon is onto something 😁
I feel betrayed to this day, I'm still disappointed Kriss never put out a rifle variant. I was always hyped to see that happen to see a new rifle revolution. But no, they dropped it off before it ever hit the market. Or some secret government agency buys them all.
Either Brandon did NOT review the footage used in the sponsor's advertisement or he has decided to go full wildin'.
Knowing Brandon, he went wiiiiiild
He said he's always trying to get that peach so is those tentacles lol
With pepperbox up, I am seeing him a little less concerned with the YT admins.
@@stevexracer4309 Yeah totally not sexual at all, the tentacle just tickles her lips as she straddles it between her legs and clasps her bosom before it forces her to hard to the floor in a demonstration of the jiggle physics. Nothing remotely sexual about any of that.

the Kriss vector and the p90 are my two favorite fire arms from media and id love to fire them and learn how to handle them correctly. so a breakdown of both on your channel was incredibly enjoyable to see.

Brandon Herrera has the Kriss Vector.

That full auto is one of the crisp-est, smoothest, most movie/video game like sounds I have ever heard. I can feel it through the screen
It was designed that way. It's our era's "luger"...
@@ryshellso526 A weapon to surpass metal gear
5:08 BrandonHerrera just pulled a "That is brilliant, but I like this."
That first scene for the ad was SPICY. Was not expecting that.
Is no one gonna talk about whatever the hell is happening with that tentacle at 2:31 in the mobile ad?

Thanks, I'm not the only one lol

That “I’ll come to you if I need texh support” was crazy
Fuck the NFA for not letting me own a full auto one.
The recoil mechanism is perfect for full auto but not really needed for semi-auto.
Fucking tell me about it. I had to two stamp mine in order to get it anywhere close to how this weapon was actually designed.
Plus, I think it would just be a certain kind of fun to run my 10 mil vector in full auto. Can't think of many 10 mm submachine guns now that I think about it
It’s also the 68’ GCA paired with the 86’ Hughes amendment.
@@Jackie_XIII Yeah, I wonder how powerful 10mm is thumping out of that thing, especially with the longer barrel and massive cyclic rate.
@@Jackie_XIIIget a double tap binary trigger. Video on my page showing one in use. It’s not Full Auto fast but it makes the recoil system justifiable.
Not needed at all for semi. It’s depressing.
“I’ll come to you if I need tech support 😭💀” that caught me soooooooo off guard 😭

Hell yeah, I'm happy for you Brother!

Kriss is leaning back as far as they can in their chairs with shocked faces after the hatred Brandon just threw at them for their AR stocks.

@nomad_boreal Oh yeah, I agree 100%. Hinge stock is so much better. That with the EOTech, foregrip, and a square can, makes the hottest Vector.

(He was flipped out about that.)
By 2007 all M1A and M14 rifles loaned out by DoD were recalled into the EBR Program, and the Kriss Vector was introduced. It fed with my Glock Mags, and was the easily suppressible 45.
"You better hold the fuck on" Brandon Herrera 😂
Kriss Vector: Exists. Brandon: "A fine additon to my collection"
"Possible White Claw DP in 3...2...1". Something I never thought I would hear on this channel. Fuck, who am I kidding! Brandon probably watched the same Lisa Ann video I did this morning.
I prefer Syren De Mer & Nina Hartley.
@@Psycho-Ssnake OOOH! Syren de Mer. Good call. Ava Addams never disappoints.
we have 2 vectors at our gun range. And its my job to fix them every time the bolt explodes. Kriss refuses to change their design even though weve brought the flaws to them and potential solutions. On average, we break a bolt every 1200 rounds
*machines a titanium bolt...*
