FYI, OCD is NOT liking or even needing things to be clean. It’s a disorder of repetition (having to turn light switches on/off 4x for example) and/or phobia/anxiety about that. Fear that something bad will happen if you don’t do something 3x, etc. Being neat/tidy is not the same thing.
Different variations maybe? Here is one definition I looked up. “having a tendency towards excessive orderliness, perfectionism, and great attention to detail.”
@@justterryl7908the difference is, being a perfectionist isn’t necessarily OCD. Ppl with OCD don’t do things like clean because they like things clean…they do it because they are compelled to do it. If something is out of place, they will obsessively think about it, becoming anxious or fearful about what will happen if something is out of order. Military ppl can be perfectionists bcuz they were taught to be….thats not OCD. OCD is so disruptive, it almost always needs treatment, and even then, it doesn’t go away, just becomes more manageable. It can manifest in need for repetition, fear of germs, fear of things being out of place, etc. But again, it’s the anxiety/fear about what will happen if those things aren’t done that makes it OCD, that’s where the difference is. If you just like things to be clean and in their place, that’s not the same thing. If you become anxious and can’t stop thinking about fixing things out of place, that is more classic signs of OCD. Nate may be a perfectionist, but isn’t OCD.
Nate’s OCD is definitely disruptive to his life. He’s incapable of having a relationship with someone who wouldn’t put something exactly where he needed it to be. He admitted to Michelle that if she moved something, he would immediately move it backs That’s a compulsion. He needs therapy if he ever decides he’d like to be in a relationship that involves sharing space.
Great recap! Avery knows that woman has all kinds of money. He was too eager after the first date. I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw him and he’s younger than her.
@@yonnirude OMG, are those praying hands? Check! Are you a prayerful man? Check! Are you a God/dess-fearing man? Check! Bahahahahaaaaaaa!!! (All he was doing was asking if she prayed over her food prior to eating...not if he was an actively serving deacon at the church, bahahaha!!!)
I'm with Suzanne on moving in with a 16 year old. You're entering an unknown family dynamic, and after raising your own children, most seniors have no appetite for turning back the clock on that phase of their life, especially one where you're seen as an outsider. Marriage is difficult enough, without adding other unknown players to the mix!
She said the younger kids meant that the men had young taste in women too, and she wasn’t ok with that. I think that was her main beef with the younger kids…
1:13:30 this happened to me I hot a girls number at the club, talked on the phone with her and then she ghosted me. Several year later my boy set me up on a blind double date with her and my boy and his gf. Turns out it was with this same girl. She recognized me, I didn’t know her, but when we figured it out my boy blew her spot up about why she ghosted. It was freaking hilarious. I told her we could go out again but she’d have to call I wasn’t extending myself. Last time I spoke to her…
Terryl TMI they are using everything against you 🤣🤣your long list of disgruntlement and now they are adding a spread sheet. I knew we would have an enjoyable perspective when you guys decided to critique this show.
Btw, she lied to Nate about being on birth control. So yes, she trapped him. She admitted she wanted a baby. I’m shocked more ppl aren’t catching this or being outraged by it 😳
Well, he shouldn’t have hit it raw! I’m not condoning what she did but it’s not like he didn’t do his part of getting her pregnant. I could also imagine that after all these years, he’s made peace with it.
I'm shocked how many men put the additional pleasure from having sex without a condom ABOVE a possibility of a life of responsibility for another human being!! #NObrainer 🙄 #AlwaysProtectYOU 💯
Women back in the day didn't have many options to support themselves/children if they left their husband's. Women couldn't even get lines of credit without a male cosigner before the 60's. Good or bad, with financial independence ppl have more options.

In Lori’s defense, my single friends say dudes send the “good morning beautiful” text to multiple they’re talking to to which text sticks
That’s because some men use Beautiful too freely like most people use the term “friend.” Lol
