Hey! is the yellow-violet intermediate shaft variable? If so, Does it change its length during "A" angle variations? If not, should it work with a normal double cardan joint right? thanks!
The yellow and violet intermediate shafts are connected together by the sliding key joint. In this video the sliding motion does not happen because center distance of two cross parts is equal to the one of the gears. However, it can work as a normal Cardano joint: ruclips.net/video/Qf88nPtm2h4/видео.html
@@thang010146 There will be a small amount of vibration as the intermediate shaft (yellow/purple) does not rotate at constant velocity. The input/output constant velocity is achieved because the non-constant velocity of the intermediate shaft is symmetric and cancels out. The vibration will be rotational around axis of the intermediate shaft.
You're good man. Your videos are awesome.
do you know any linkage that can keep the same velocity from the input as the output without using any gears?

Is there any torque loss in that case?
@Sam Dru could you find out if there s any torque loss?
Hi good morning where i can buy this mechanism?
It is not available in the market.
Do you know of any linkage that can achieve the same relative movement of the two main hubs, without using gear teeth?
I don't understand your question. Could you explain it using sketch.

Assuming its a brand new joint, would it produce axial vibration on the non-generating end?
It is the double Hooke's joint, not a brand new one.
Axial vibration: I have no information about it.

@@listerdave1240 Thank you for your information.
@@listerdave1240 do you think that this mechanism can be able to with stand 8000 rpm and 7hp ?
Sir I need this mechanism with downward to 90 degree
It can work at 90 deg.

Hi Thang:is the animation rotate in 90 degree angle?
Yes. Please read the video description.
thank you and sorry for my ignorance
maybe can used for low rpm only ...
Awesome.
software??
It is Autodesk Inventor.
thang010146 thanks :)
