Ruin is definitely higher effort. Although a more straight-line story with not a ton of branching paths, I think it decreased the amount of bugs and helped make it more scary.

Personally, I wouldn't say it's higher effort. I think they bit off more than they could chew with Security Breach, but that does not mean they didn't TRY to make a good game. They certainly had to put more effort and work into Security Breach. Ruin having a much smaller scope allowed it to have higher polish and be actually scary, while requiring less development time and attention from Steel Wool (the Ruin dev team is separate in the credits, likely so they could continue work on HW 2 while making Ruin).

I feel like majority of us can agree that the design of Glamrock Bonnie is AMAZING?!? I just wish we actually got to see him walking around or through a cut scene!

Welp, Matpat is going to have a feild day with this. Glamrock Bonnie is mostly intact, meaning that he was NOT used to make burntrap.

Theory:
Since glamrock Bonnie is in some way connected to the cleaning bot signs I think that since he was in such a rough physical condition that it was just easier to transfer his programing or spirit (depends on theory) through the cleaning bots, hence being the reason his systems are officially down once all the cleaning bots are disabled.
Adding onto that, the cleaning bots are always turned away from Cassie without the mask on once too close but with the mask on they look at her. The markings on the outside of the room when the mask mode may also play a large role in bonnie possibly being able to communicate more through mask mode since that mode also expresses the remnant.
Very prominent theory amongst all I have seen, and I believe this to be true.
This makes a lot of sense actually. I was just about to comment on how Bonnie's eyes were lit up before but then the glow vanished when all the cleaning bots were deactivated. This also causes me to question if he was connected to them during the base game as well or if it was a process that happened just before/during DLC gameplay. I personally follow the latter, as we can see that during regular Security Breach, those cleaning bots actually did look at Gregory, and he didn't even have the V.A.N.N.I. system at his disposal. Then again - we also know that you can only disconnect them with a mask (that Gregory didn't have) so what's the point in turning away knowing he can't deactivate you? There wouldn't be any. However for Cassie, she has a mask and so by turning away she would feel a lot more inclined to put the mask on and then see that she can disconnect them.
It would be amazing to learn more about Glamrock Bonnie after being hit with such lore two years after Security Breach, a time where most RUclipsrs were going around the whole map trying to find him. I'm very sorry for people who spent time reading my rant

I am honestly shocked that this DLC is not only miles better than the base game, but is so much more than what we expected. Steel Wool knocked it out of the park entirely.

The base game was still great imo despite its bugs.. So many funny moments and stuff.

The biggest thing I noticed about deactivating the bots surrounding Bonnie, is that before you do his eyes are glowing and afterwards they’re dark. So maybe by deactivating the bots you’re somehow releasing him too in a way.

Noticed it too. Started thinking like Matpat and how that relates to anything. Then this thought hit me: Was a child possessing Gl. Bonnie? The glowing eyes, to me anyways, reminded me of the good and bad endings from FNAF 3. I don’t wanna spoil it for any potential new fans of the series, but to sum it up: The eyes kept glowing, indicating the children never found peace. When they did find peace, the eyes stopped glowing.
Maybe but how would bonnie be connected to them? Unless it has something to do with the child voice from the wet floor sign bots..

interestingly. it looks like Bonnie was moved into this room. we can see marks across the floor, and Bonnie's put on a piece of fabric seen around the pizzaplex. it was documented that he was decommissioned in the log, so it's likely whoever did this tried to hide how he was destroyed. and the bowling ball is purple, which connects it strongly about how the Afton virus had something to do with it.
My thought was that the log stated Bonnie wandered into Gator Golf and was never seen again....right? If that is true, then he was brought back here.
Honestly by the end I was certain all the cutouts and signs were the only glimpse of Glamrock Bonnie we would get, so very nice surprise to see he's actually in the game! Shame he's still deactivated though.

it's wild how you can physically SEE the claw marks over bonnie's torso. monty must've broken his head with a bowling ball and even then when bonnie was down, still proceeded to claw at his chest and his legs. i can imagine monty must've definitely beat bonnie because, hell, if he was on stable ground in the original game he could've definitely tossed the barrel with the plastic balls. it was only because he was on the catwalk that he died.
While this very well could be the case and honestly I wouldn't put something like past Monty

Actually now it's starting to seem like it wasn't Monty that did this to Bonnie. A cutout was found that shows the band before Monty joined and shows Monty looking up at Bonnie in awe almost as if he admires Bonnie
@@skeletor4436that’s something fazbear entertainment made that doesn’t mean it’s what actually happened. Monty definitely could’ve still broke Bonnie and fazbear used that ride as a way to explain Monty’s backstory.
@@the._.dark._.artist Monty was probably the only core band member to be not necessarily aggressive but to have a temper and Bonnie probably did something to make him mad and just like in nature chomp chomp goes the gator and the rabbit disappears not wanting the public to know about Monty's murder they covered it up there's also a theory that Monty ate one of the "Missing" children like the bite of 2050 or something like that but that's probably false.
I don't know if anyone else pointed it out already but after he deactivated the little yellow bots that surrounded Bonnie, the light in Bonnie's eyes went out, literally.
When you walk in, his eyes are lit up white, much like how Glamrock Freddy's did in the base game. After turning the robots around him off, his eyes turn off. It's still got the red paint on the irises tho.
Maybe it's some sort of way of letting his spirit pass on? Or finally letting his system die out, I guess?
Can't be a spirit the Glamrocks aren't haunted. The only Glamrocks that is maybe haunted is Freddy but even then it's a bit of a reach

I'm so glad that they're still making fnaf games and actually putting effort in, and also making DLCs for said games with almost the same amount of content as the actual game. I'm also glad people like Fusion put in the effort to completely finish the game for their viewers while keeping it entertaining. Fusion will always have my admiration for the amount of effort he puts into his videos and community!
This is insane. Would have never thought they would put Bonnie in the game, besides cutouts. This dlc seems to be having more and more surprises. I just wonder where/what happened to the Blob.

In regards of Bonnie, it’s worth noting that next to his head there’s a shaterred bowling ball, my guess is Monty used it to destroy Bonnie, and when looking at his state, Monty certainly used a heavy one.

Just a guess, maybe there are playable arcade cabinets in each animatronic sections. If so I bet if you beat them they give you the parts of the animatronic that Gregory took and you can probably return them.
Edit: I noticed that there are moments where each animatronic is rendered useless and Cassie can approach them. The only one I can't seem to find is Monty, there is that gate section but if you touch him he jumpscares you.

The Monty Golf Arcade game seems to be "unwinnable" as there is no current way to better your score for the moment. It's unsure if you have yo reach a certain amount to win something out of it, but for the time being Monty Golf seems to lead nowhere
People have gone through all the files, this is the last like "secret" in the game.

Funny how all of the animatronics survive getting crushed, head cut off, no eyes, literally losing their legs. Yet one hole in Bonnie’s chest leaves him dead 💀
Ruin looks crazy, it’s good to see improvement with the game in terms of glitches, lag, and gameplay are just overall better. I have to give credit to the dev team for putting more effort into to ruin to make something that got rid of all of the things that brought the main game down. And I hope they make more dlc like this in the future as the lore is getting really deep and interesting once you start to put the pieces together and understand what is happening and why certain things are happening.
It's also actually quite scary now too

Personally seeing Glamrock Bonnie here is going to definitely not only have the lore go off the charts but also teasing another dlc, sequel, or even a prequel. Honestly guess we got to wait and see because when it come to FNAF lore we just never know yet for now.

So glad we finally get to see Glam Rock Bonnie! I have a soft spot for Bonnie so was gutted he wasn't in SB. If you look closely it seems he was hit over the head with a bowling ball which is broken around him and he also looks to have slash marks across his chest, no doubt from Monty. But the fact he is fairly intact makes me question the theory that Vanny was behind Monty murdering Bonnie for parts for Burntrap...
Even though Ruin's only been out for a day Fusion and so many other people have managed to uncover so many secrets and mysteries about it already, props to you and Dawko and anyone else discovering stuff about the game!

So far the most disappointing part about ruin is that Vanny isn't here. I was really hoping that if they were gonna reference her, they would actually use her and flesh her out more. She has so much potential and they just let such a cool character languish

It would've been nice to see her actually be a terrifying threat and not just showing up for five seconds and leaving. Vanny has so much missed potential but I understand why she isn't in ruin, it wouldn't make sense since she was freed.

In the lore (the very intentionally and unintentionally hidden) lore, it is heavily implied that Monty, jealous of Bonnie, lured him back there, murdered him, and then took his spot on the team. His section in Ruin also echoes this, that's why Bonnie arm is basically disembodied in the ride. Such a cool detail
isnt bonnie the most aggressive animatronic and not to mention how hes also got the "glam" update to his body parts im pretty sure that it would've been near impossible to kill him

Ruin has single-handedly made me actually want to play security breach, it’s impressive how much of a step up it is

I've been watching through all of Fusion's Ruin videos. He's the only one I watch when it comes to SB and Ruin. And the fact he's been on the game for 24+hours doing this and uploading these videos for us is amazing.
I think Ruin was 100% an improvement for sure. I'm so glad they've done this.
I’m actually surprised they put Bonnie into the game. I was already thinking: “Wow RUIN is an amazing DLC!” But this detail is just so cool. I’m glad we actually get to see him in this DLC.

I’ve been thinking. There is a point in the game you can put the voice box back in Chica. While she is sitting down you put it back. There are points in the game where the glamrocks are disabled or unable to move. My guess is you can put all their parts back. This could lead to a new ending. Find the arcades, good luck.

I definitely agree that Monty has something to do with Bonnie, We all know Monty as the one with the super strong claws that we steal and the hole in Bonnies chest looks like a slash from 3/4 "fingers" so I thinks it's safe to assume Monty did this after a performance to get rid of the competition

it shows that monty was made AFTER bonnie was decommissioned so it's kinda less possible for it to be him and more possible for it to be vanny and burntrap. burntrap also has some newer parts which means vanny couldve destroyed bonnie and upgraded burntrap.
They really blew my mind with Ruin man. It's such a high quality game that even as a casual SB defender, it's mind blowing that this is made by the same guys

Sadly its forced onto the player to shut her off. You can’t progress further until you do it and you cant do anything else to save her (this is based off of the info currently available so if something new comes out that proves me wrong please let me know)

security breach was unfinished because sony had a deadline in december, it would have most likely gotten another delay.
The Monty ride actually tells us the story of Monty. He admired the group and wanted to be in it and Bonnie let him take his spot and replace him

Here's what I'm curious about the game, can you actually "repair" every animatronic that has missing parts. I found out that you can somewhat repair Chica using the voice box while searching through the web about more of the lore of Ruin. Some also say that you can find Monty's other half in the game and his claws. Not sure if you can really find all of it. I'll watch Fusion when he does this side missions/quests.
You can find monty's legs but they aren't collectable (they are on the stage in chapter 3's hidden room ). If I remember seeing correctly.

I am honestly impressed by the ammount of content in the update. I never really got the game but this update makes it way more interesting to get.
I feel like steel wool spent way more time and effort perfecting ruin than they did with the main game considering the lack of bugs and the authentic horrifying atmosphere that security breach did not hold well. Regardless of that, they both are amazing and I can't wait to see more.

Something sad to note is Bonnie’s eyes turn on hinting he’s alive however after all the bots are disabled they fade out to darkness.

Fusion puts so much effort into his videos, he tries to discover all the secrets and endings, and he won't stop until he unlocks it all. What a legend.
Man, now I feel like I have to say that can we just take a moment to appreciate this guy looked everywhere to find Glam Bonnie for us and spent all that time for the one clean bot and to show us the repairing chica cutscene in one video which probably could've taken awhile if he hadn't gotten the voicebox early on but he was smart and wanted to test it and got it fast.
Since you put a piece of Chica together, now it makes me think that you could find other arcade games pertaining to each of the other animatronics: Monty, Roxy, Freddy... getting their respective parts, piecing them together-- "Putting them back together," and getting a new ending.
How does he stay so energetic? Fusion is a massive W for our generation.

When I first saw a video circulating on Facebook, I thought it was fake. It seemed too good to be true that Bonnie was finally shown. Since he was hinted at just barely in the base game, and then we finally get to see more of Bonnie in Ruin, it seemed to me that those hints were all we were gonna get. But getting to actually see Bonnie and have everything pretty much confirmed, it's kinda bittersweet. We learn what happened to Bonnie, but it wasn't a good ending for him.

Ruin has definetly exceeded all the doubts and expectations especially with things like this to help keep the fans guessing. I definetly want to know what happened to Bonnie and why he is no longer active or more on the mimics weird costume… so much to this dlc and more that I need to know. Oh yeah by the way soemthing interesting you might want to check is that apparently the blob is still in fnaf ruin. Towards the end when you go down the stair case it’s right before you jump down and go into the door apprerntly Funtime Freddie’s mask is poking out in a hold hiding along the wall which might indicate that thing was watching us the whole time as we walked around the ruins of the pizzaplex
The fact that you finish the entire game within the first few hours it comes out and upload videos of it every few hours and now your doing easter eggs, Huge respect keep it up!
Here's a theory the person talking in sun and moons area other than the. Mimic is glam rock Bonnie.
I don't know if this matters at this point or not, but after going back to the first part, I think the last cleaning bot that you missed is on the first chapter in a rest room you need to open its door with the Faz-Wrench right after you get the mask.
I'm still catching up, but I can already tell this is going to be another banger episode.

I think I might've found the one cleaning bot you missed, apparently there's some hidden area where you can find a bunch of discarded monty stuff in his catwalk area and it's kind of a scary area to fall into if I'm honest

Haven’t seen the video yet but! There are hidden mascot suits were the mimic is, Bonnie (ofc), Roxy says “Cassie” at the end of the credits of the main ending (where Gregory kills you), the blob can be seen mostly out of bounds, and there’s a way to put Chicas voice box back in

ruin is so much better than main security breach, its written so much better, and makes a LOT more sense
got to appreciate the effort fusion goes into finding everything he can. also kind of funny how when a new game drops or dlc you that first video and you just know hes going to stay up and get the uploads up as fast as possible
Fnaf will always have a place in my heart and I thin Scott really made a fantastic game and gave it to a company who actually wants to make it entertaining and fun and not use it for money

I think monty was controlled to kill bonnie or someone else killed him. Because Monty idolized Bonnie if you look around when you take the ride in monty's golf.
Horror scoped actually found this yesterday while hacking and fusion didnt realise that when you deactivate all of the bot around bonnie his eyes stop glowing and at 7:32 the whole screen was on one of his eyeballs and somehow fusion didnt notice
About the voice box you might be able to fix all of the other animatronics if you get their parts from their respective arcade machines, but Chica's part is the only one people have found so far. maybe you can get a part from Monty from beating the golf arcade game.

In the Tales from the Pizzaplex books the Mimic uses costumes to ambush it's victims.
