- It's the FINAL (*insert sad face emoji*) week of Yo Joe June, and Marvel Legends decided to crash the party with a Monday morning Fanstream.
But, the bigger question: Is GI Joe Classified being OUTDONE by Marvel Legends in 2024? Is it even fair to compare? Our Fanstream reviews should be interesting...

Legends is doin big thangs! And quality has gone up with them, but…… GI JOE beats em easy, just the build of the fig alone is so superior with the articulation & sculpting. I wanted to put retro Scarlett & the new delux black widow in a pic together. But once I had them both in hand & side by side. Scarlett destroyed her! IMO just the feel of Scarlett was obvious that gi joe bucks are on another level! so many legends still have a swivel waist! I mean A swivel waist? Come on… please….

I think it's pretty much a draw between Legends and Classified so far. Classified will probably surge in the second half, though. As for Super7 Reaction, if you think of them as customs or art toys $20 is really not a lot to pay, but a lot of us have $8 in our heads as a crazy price to pay for a 5POA 4" figure, much less $20. I'm guilty of it too. I did drop $20 on the Joe Strummer figure and I want to get Run-DMC. Anyway, have a safe trip to Augusta and back and have a great time at JoeFest!

My shelf real estate is overflowing. I got rid of a lot of my Marvel Legends to make room for classified Joes and I just can't quit buying Marvel Legends. Every wave of Legends has at least one to two figures I want to buy.

as my logo suggests, I m an early 82 Joe adopter, had most until about 88,
car payments, rent, only sparse pieces then on.
the 6' evolution
I really miss vehicles, mostly light loose ones, bigger takes lots of space.
but...
now it s way easier to get Marvels into my joe universe,
as everything gets converted into it.
also, not only heroes, but civilians, yeah, now I can get the movie - cartoon look
I also picked from Indy and got the ark
by adding shields, Hydra, aim to iron grenadiers and Cobra wanting it,
and 4 dios to depict action scenes, it makes me great deco.
I admit I m a bit bored by agents vs agents scenes,
heroes and civilians really add to the realism of the scene and is funny
I especially like 'out of character' scenes where figs defy their reputation
ex ; Aunt May hunting the green goblin with punisher s bazooka.
I m not sure which did better, but I have advice...
it s not going well with China, war, it s best to consider a strong peace movement in the community, as a symbolical gesture of good faith from 'the people' us civilians.
it could leave a bridge between countries for peace
if it s not enough for you, well, expect being cut off, no export to us.
something that could be avoided if we have an impact - pop.
art is what will lead us there, I d see pic montages for world peace
figs are inspiration, objects of art, symbolical.
gi Joe is for world peace with America s interests in mind.
we do not fight the cowboy admins, rather we work on an alternative,
it s a good cop - bad cop chemistry here, towards the same goal
also, campi flegrei Italy, a volcano that is about to blow
I expect it to be big now, the last 24hrs are alarming.

Legends is improving in quality, mostly getting pts for warbird and the x-men 97 stuff... but Joe is just on fire. If they don't get ahead of themselves, they can run with this for a solid two years.

I'm in for the Duke level of the comic kickstarter, that way I get the first 50 issues, and still have funds for the Rattler (or whatever it is).

They have had a bounceback year that they desperately needed because they have been slowly killing the line since 2020. Though some of it no fault of their own and a lot of it the problems at Disney who keep producing shit properties. That said, you can never go wrong with comic centered waves and because of the lack of disney product they have been able to churn out a lot of what the people wanted. That said, I suspect get it while the getting is good because they will go back to the same stuff once Disney starts churning out shit content again. X-Men 97 was a godsend for both and for marvel legends. When the X-Men are on top, they draw comics fans back in and the rest of Marvel eats from it too.
Classified is starting to show some interference from the ceo as they have been going crazy with the reuse and the cheap plastic weapons. But I think once they fix those problems their quality is stil above and beyond anything marvel legends can do.
To me, Gi joe classified series is way better than Marvel Legends. Its not even close
