Stayed at the same guest house in May 23 and going back later this year. I loved this area and really enjoyed watching this video as it reminded me so much of the good times I had there.
We really enjoyed staying at the guest house. far enough away from the town to be quiet yet close enough to stroll into town. We plan to go back too. Thanks for watching.
Just came across your channel, loved watching you ride through an area that my hubby and I ride regularly. Great banter between you both too, sounds just like me and hubby on the coms including the occasional swearing 😂 Just subscribed, looking forward to seeing more of your videos 👍 Only been out once this year, we were heading towards Moffat (lunch at the Rumblin’ Tum) but the cold and the rain cut our trip short so headed to the pub in Biggar to sit by the fire and warm up 👍
Nice Video of your trip, I'm happy you enjoyed the area. I stay near enough the Glen Cafe to enjoy the roads round there several times a year on our day trips out on the bikes.
Great video, loved the down to earth banter and your enjoyment in riding. Did this route as part of borders loop last year before moving down to Northumerland 250 then Lake District and loved it. Glad I missed the curry in Moffat though. Great watch 🙂🏍
Ours are wrapped up too right now. We've had a lot of strong winds and rain here in Yorkshire. As you'll see from an upcoming video, the wind was strong enough to blow the 1000 over. It's almost fixed.
We too like to dream our way through the winter and the bad weather. There's so much inspiration to be found on RUclips. This trip and our tour of Scandinavia came about after watching other bikers posting their videos 😃Uncle Longbeard for this one and Richie Vida for the Scandi trip.
The Scottish Borders has some stunning roads and scenery, great video and the banter between you both is brilliant. I run in my Royal Enfield Classic 350 around St Mary's loch and Moffat, it was a joy, it brought back good memories watching you both on the same roads. Subbed to your channel. Ride safe and if you get a chance you should do thew islands.
enjoyed the video - especially because we had a week at Foulbog cottage (9 minutes) in May this year! It’s available for rent and the views are amazing. I said that I’d have to go back on one of my scooters as the roads all around there are really good. I think it’s because they have to cope with massive timber trucks.
Nice video, that’s a great route know all those roads well. Looking from the cafe the loch in front is Loch of Lowes the one across to the left is St Mary’s, we went there at the weekends as children and always referred to it as St Mary’s, the cafe back then was a little more of a shack with an ice cream kiosk on the right hand side, I am talking 60’s here. Sunday at the cafe is bike parking only.

Being a local I know those roads very well, and I enjoyed riding along with you. A slight correction on your welly song, it's not 'or infirmary' , but it's 'Royal Infirmary', which refers to the Royal Infirmary in Glasgow.
Great roads. And on the best bikes to :)

Thanks so much. We spent a bit of time in Northumberland too and had some great rides. We just need to get around to editing the footage.
Hardie cheils 💪💪💪👏👏👏weather has been wild up here for weeks, bikes are still tucked away for another month at least😂

Glad I came across your channel guys, 👍
Some lovely footage, if I can't get out on the bike this sort of thing is the next best fix 👌

Thank you for the Sub and yes we hope to do the islands. There's just so much in Scotland that we want to ride. I want to do it all! Vet.
Great video , rode the same roads last year , going again this year and following some of your route . Keep up the good work .
Thank you and yes we may return in future as it was such a good ride.

You know, I would love to stay there 😍 but alas, Beanie likes to be within walking distance of the curry house ad pub 😀

Great cafe and the views of the loch made it a perfect place to stop for a cuppa and a cake 🍰
Best bikes in the world. Zero traffic lucky devils

I shall insure Beanie sings the right words next time 😆Vet.
@user-bj8iw9ie8r sorry you are wrong, Billy Connolly sang and recorded this in 1974 and he does not sing Royal anywhere
@@binness You are correct, my bad, my apologies to Vet and Beanie.
