- I’m SO IMMENSELY happy to share this very special project with you all! Presenting our Lullaby Mashup, featuring my 7-month old nephew, Aarav; right in time for Janmashtami / Krishna Jayanti 2020! Very happy to collaborate with the amazing Navneeth Sundar, who has produced the music and played the iPad on this project so beautifully! As always, visuals captured and edited masterfully by Karandeep Sheemar. This mashup features four beautiful compositions in the raga, Neelambari: Madhava Mamava, Mani Nupura Dhari, Amba Neelambari (Chittai Swaram), Manikkam Katti).

My daughter is a month old and immediately sleeps fir this lullaby. My son is 5 years and is autistic and music is the only thing that calms him.. he really surrenders to your voice when he has a meltdown. I am a new mom. I was having hard time and exhausted. Was searching for a lullaby to make baby sleep and I found you. What an amazing voice it is . It was one of those nights i was overwhelmed and depressed and your voice was like a drug. I slowly became calm and relaxed.

After a long wait for response i am now safely saying this.The pasurams you sang are the works of perialwar. He dedicated and sang them to my lord kesavan. You can dedicate your rendition to anyone. The dedication of the pasurams , you can neither do yourself nor its dedicatable to a human child. Othewise it would be only a violation of our faith. Please take cognizance.

Neelaambari raaga was used in the Carnatic classical music based Kannada movie Hamsageethe by Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna for rendering the krithi 'Samajavaragamana', in 1975. Usually it's rendered in the raaga Hindola. But it was a rare opportunity to listen to the bit in Neelaambari.

Beautiful singing, soothing voice, and gentleness - a really nice combination! If you ever decide to have children of your own, do continue to be a singing dad for them! And even if you don't, your nephew is already growing up listening to your music. There are so many dads out there who are wonderful singers. If they all sang to their kids, it would unlock a huge new source of love in the form of music for kids - in addition to all that they are getting from their moms!

It's blissful to listen to all the spiritual lullabies with such in-depth meanings in classical ragas and music which are also unmeasurable deep oceans. *HUMBLE REQUEST* : Can you sing these songs separately and upload??? I know it's a lot of work but it'd be a blessing. Or only the 'Manipura dhari' 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 I love it, thanks to you that I got to listen to it for the first time (Even if I've heard before, I don't remember it).
