In Vegas Pierre is a Legend in our eyes and a humble guy at that. first time I played against him was before he got to high school and he was super nice back then as well, the homies raved about him even back tjen! It's wack that he hasn't gotten the proper opportunity to showcase his talent in the NBA because i think that he would be at the least a really good 6 man, a small Mo or J Crossover kind of threat because he's a walking bucket. Regardless we respect Pierre for everything he's done for the city

Last similar guard was Nate Robinson. Very similar guards, he might be a better PG. Small, stocky, athletic, range. He is an NBA guard. Nate got jerked around a lot, but was basically a perfect 3 guard, scoring spark guy IMO. Jackson the same. Injury was a huge one for me. But he has made serious comeback, like nothing happened. Love Wroten game. He also is an NBA guard. Big guard, with some flash. Also those Baylor teams have a few other guys who need a SG...

When Pierre Jackson got hurt that year in the summer league it was big because the way he was playing up until the injury he would have made that Philly team. Also people have to understand when your 5’10 5’11 and your trying to make the NBA you have to know that there are specific things a team or GMs are looking for. Can you be a dawg on the defensive end? Can you run a team effectively? Can you be a consistent shooter from the perimeter? Finally does your game translate to the philosophy and culture of said team? Smaller scoring point guards will always have a harder time than most latching on in the league because they have such a specific niche and it takes the right team at the right time to maximize on their talents. It has never been an issue with Pierre Jackson’s game or talent it has always been about timing.

Since you mentioned it already, how about we talk about Austin Rivers! He was supposed to be a superstar in the league from day one, but his first few years were atrocious. When he went to the Clippers he experienced a growth spurt and became a highly coveted rotation player. He could have been out of the league if not for that move to play under his dad.
