In Vegas Pierre is a Legend in our eyes and a humble guy at that. first time I played against him was before he got to high school and he was super nice back then as well, the homies raved about him even back tjen! It's wack that he hasn't gotten the proper opportunity to showcase his talent in the NBA because i think that he would be at the least a really good 6 man, a small Mo or J Crossover kind of threat because he's a walking bucket. Regardless we respect Pierre for everything he's done for the city
The excitement on my face when you mentioned Tony Wroten!!!! Please do a feature on him PLEASE!! That was my guy and I was so excited when Pierre got drafted there and had a chance to be on that team just for it to end as soon as it happened🤦🏾♂️. Your channel is definitely my fav for the respect that you have for the players and the game. So to see that Tony wroten is your guy really put a big smile on my face. ✊🏿
Last similar guard was Nate Robinson. Very similar guards, he might be a better PG. Small, stocky, athletic, range. He is an NBA guard. Nate got jerked around a lot, but was basically a perfect 3 guard, scoring spark guy IMO. Jackson the same. Injury was a huge one for me. But he has made serious comeback, like nothing happened. Love Wroten game. He also is an NBA guard. Big guard, with some flash. Also those Baylor teams have a few other guys who need a SG...
Once again you keep providing the culture with incredible insight on guys fans want to know about. Loved his game at Baylor. Another guard he reminded me of was Flip Murray and I think he would be a great guy for a second unit like a Lou Williams. As always love the channel bro
Denis Clemente is a name that comes to mind. Played at k state with Jacob Pullen. To this day, Clemente and John wall are two of the fastest I've ever seen with the ball in their hands baseline to baseline. Especially college.
When Pierre Jackson got hurt that year in the summer league it was big because the way he was playing up until the injury he would have made that Philly team. Also people have to understand when your 5’10 5’11 and your trying to make the NBA you have to know that there are specific things a team or GMs are looking for. Can you be a dawg on the defensive end? Can you run a team effectively? Can you be a consistent shooter from the perimeter? Finally does your game translate to the philosophy and culture of said team? Smaller scoring point guards will always have a harder time than most latching on in the league because they have such a specific niche and it takes the right team at the right time to maximize on their talents. It has never been an issue with Pierre Jackson’s game or talent it has always been about timing.
It's crazy watching the Nets starting guard and watching this before the game. PJ is just as good if not better then dude. It's all about time and opportunity!!!! Another great video!!!
Since you mentioned it already, how about we talk about Austin Rivers! He was supposed to be a superstar in the league from day one, but his first few years were atrocious. When he went to the Clippers he experienced a growth spurt and became a highly coveted rotation player. He could have been out of the league if not for that move to play under his dad.
He was def on his way out the league before the Clippers (his dad) saved him.. He's rumored to not have the best personality as well so he's rubbed a lot of players the wrong way
Video hasn’t even started yet but I watch most of your videos and I’m commenting now. PJ definitely was one of my favs in college and almost made me wanna watch D league
@@AndreaBaixinho huge UNC fan here. It was supposed to be him and J.R. Smith along with Felton, McCants, and May. Curry was killing it out here until sh*t hit the fan. I still cant believe it went down like it did. Like in most towns they would have covered it up lol.
Dude was slanging oxy’s I recall them saying while watching him at oklah st. On espn. Had a lot of off court issues that derailed the hype from what I recall but had a great wing skill set & scoring ability.
No I don’t think so . Absolutely too small. And players today are way more talented and athletic . He would probably play overseas . Or just a good college guard.
@@amancalledhawk5575 not just those two, he'd be a league wide pest cause he played in a more physical league & he'd get away with a lot more because of his size.. But you're right, a GM would really have to give him a chance & idk if that'd happen in todays game
Pierre jackson a flat out hooper… bonafied💯… I’ll say this… the NBA isn’t the NBA we’ve thought it was… the end to end all to someone basketball career… we’ve bought into that lie… they gave us… it’s hoopers all across the world… who’ve made great careers and made a living playing basketball and providing for their families…
Bro he had every chance. He played with two 5 star recruits in college at Baylor, and got more touches then both of them. I personally just think his game doesn’t fit his size.
Yeah ohhhhh yeahhhhhhh alot of bad opportunities that he truly made the best of. And just got screwed over or waived for future potential instead what was already being proven.
Nba or life ? Lmao everything is political if you don’t know someone or don’t have the it factor people want you ain’t getting to where you want. He got to where he went but didn’t show out like earl boykins
Pierre Jackson is a killer! Amazing scorer. Definitely deserves another shot at the NBA
Pierre was the man at Baylor. Those seasons were🔥🔥🔥
Can we get a Sonny Weems Stunted Growth?
This guy was getting video game numbers in the g league and led the China league in scoring over jimmer. He's obviously an NBA guard
dude averaged 40 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists in China! Talk about dominating!
Coached him in high school at desert pines high school in Las Vegas home of the jaguars and Julian Jacobs great video: both great kids

Success story to me: I remember watching that summer league where he got hurt. Always enjoyed watching him play.
Great video. But don’t let the angle of that shot deceive you. Tony Parker is a legit 6’3

Everytime I think about someone you should do next it's already out. Cory Bradford from Illinois. Big Ten Freshman of the year...

I totally agree his dad saved his career
Scoll down a bit he did 1 on him like last year

That unseasoned channel has potential
Oh yes. I definitely think he should be in the league. Been watching and following him since Baylor. Best of luck to him. #TheySleep

Dominic James from Marquette
Good video, I wonder if Mugsy Bouges played in this era would he get in the league?
No I don’t think so . Absolutely too small. And players today are way more talented and athletic . He would probably play overseas . Or just a good college guard.
probably not but he did have a high basketball iq and was a pest on defense from end to end

Most of the 6 footers and under was Hella athletic and could do crazy ass dunks. That just shows you how good they really are compared to us mortals.
Also remember when he was on the Mavs had yogi Farrell not got hot he may have stuck with them
With the right coaching he could’ve been a 20-8 pg
Do a joe young stunted growth
WOW lakers was down 50 in that game againts the MAVS
Have you done Quincy Miller?
Nope Sike Yessir
One of my favorite players that’s not in the League.
These guys don't defend that's why they don't stay in the league. PJ nasty asf just undersized.
He's ridiculous the nba is missing out.
