    Wow!! I wouldn't have thought there was a Peruvian Restaurant in Cape Town!! And the dishes look so fancy and delicious!! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us: Peruvian food lovers! If you ever have the chance to come to Japan, there are several Peruvian Restaurants in Tokyo (and other cities) that you can try, and of course Sushi bars as well! Keep traveling and enjoying food!!

    Excellent video. I never thought there was a Peruvian restaurant in Cape Town. Even though I wasn't looking for one when I was there a few years ago. It was great to hear Audrey using Punta Sal Restaurant in Lima as a yardstick. Thanks your advice I became a fun of the restaurant as well. Sam in my last trip to Peru I also had "locks of pisco" and plenty of chilcanos as well. Thanks for sharing your culinary adventures around the world.

    • @samuelandaudrey

Sigan comiendo chicos, me caen super bien.

I love that you take the time out of your day to reply to everyone who leaves a comment. you are so personable and kind to everyone. I love you guys! I wish I could help your channel grow! I think if more people knew about you they would most definitely subscribe to you. how can I help get your name out there? I really would love for you to have more followers. I would be happy to see that you could do this for a living. tell me what I can do to help. also you should open a patreon account. I know the people who could afford to would for sure help you.

    • @samuelandaudrey
      @samuelandaudrey  7 лет назад +2

      Thank you very much! Honestly, we just so appreciate people watching and engaging. The community aspect is one of our favorite parts of creating videos. I think in terms of growing our channel we have to remember how fortunate we are to be where we're at. There are of course many channels with bigger numbers in terms of views and subs but there are also many channels that would love to be where we are at right now. We'll just keep working hard and try to put out 3-4 videos a week. Patreon is really cool but I think we won't set something up until maybe next year.

    lmao! Sam was making out with the taco! ;) oh Audrey you know you love it. ;) ;) hehe. I would love to try that. I like sushi so I am sure this is just as good if not better. I so wish I could live that life that you 2 do. I want to travel so bad! I have never even been on a plane, and I am getting older and older. the only time I went to another country was canada and that was when I was 5 and all you needed was a birth certificate to get in and out. I also kind of consider canada a part of the united states, even though I know its not. I feel we are kind of the same in a way. you just do not have all the messed up stuff the united states has. It's like canada is a cooler version of the united states. I would so move there if it was not even colder then it is in ohio. I hate the cold and ohio has a lot of cold weather. I wish I could meet you both and just learn stuff from you.

    • @samuelandaudrey
      @samuelandaudrey  7 лет назад +2

      LOL, that taco was definitely worth it ;) If you like sushi I think you'd probably really like ceviche and tiradito :) Thank you! Where would you like to abroad for your first trip? Having been away from home as much as we have we really appreciate how much there is to do in both the US and Canada! So many great national parks, little towns worth visiting and other stuff. Maybe if you're looking to travel a bit more places nearby might be an option in the meantime. Don't worry about your age! My parents are now doing an annual 2 month trip and they didn't get started until their 60s well into retirement. It is never too late :)

      Entiendo el comentario creo que quieres decir que se debe promocionar solo la comida peruana clasica pero solo seria encasillarla en un tipo o clase de esa manera la fusion no existiria solo un ejemplo el pisco sour nacio del whisky sour y asi seguiran apareciendo nuevos tragos y platos peruanos la imaginacion es infinita en la gatronomia.

      Galo R. Nunez Puedo entender tu punto de vista, pero hay que tener cuidado con los pequeños detalles. En una oportunidad asistí a un restaurante peruano en Puerto Rico y de momento escuchó al cocinero, que era dominicano, diciéndole a un comensal puertorriqueño que la comida peruana era spicy porque tenía influencia mexicana. Suerte que estuve ahí para defender la legitimidad y pureza de nuestra comida.

      Mariel V el ceviche mexicano lleva palta o guacamole, pero tb he visto que lo preparan en lima, con aceite de oliva 👌

    Sudafrican-Peuvian food! but definitevely that ceviche is not the real peruvian ceviche, it doesn't even look like a ceviche, also the pisco sour doesn't have vinegar, the sour stuff is just lemon juice but the peruvian lemons.

      Samuel and Audrey - Travel and Food Videos , yes it should be good, I am just saying that it looks different, any country has its own variations, we don't use avocado or tomatoes in ceviche, I think the mexican version of ceviche does. On the other hand I know that is hard to find those sour lemons that we use in pisco sour. I am peruvian but I live in US, however I don't like Pisco sour, I preffer the chilcano de Pisco, and least but no last the Pisco is Peruvian ;)

    Lo unico original fueron los Picarones, todo lo demás fue estropeado tratando de darle un toque gourmet...lástima!
