It came with the 250 mercury 2 stroke. I still want to purchase a Hydraulic jackplate, active target transducer and powerpole charge but I only paid 48k
Thats why I bought my Nitro used. Lol. Its a 2020 Z19 it had 120 hours on the mercury 200. I got it for mid 40,000. Im happy with it. Its a great boat love fishing out of it.

Honestly a crazy way to rig this boat. Start with the non “pro” version and add on the extras, don’t pay extra and then remove all the extra equipment. I’ve got a 2020 z20 pro, honestly bought it at a great time. 58k, with an ultrex, helix 10 console, helix 9 bow, twin talons, cover, dual console. Couldn’t sniff that price now for a similarly loaded boat.
Because we credit back the equipment that we do not use it doesn't matter if we went pro version or not. Also in this OVER/UNDER series we spec ALL fiberglass boats out this way with the exact same electronics and TM. Keeps everything on a level playing field.
I’ve run an 18ft 150hp boat since 1986. I’ve fished everything from a 50 ac pond to the Great Lakes from one. Overall I still think it’s the best compromise for a bass boat for a weekend angler. I’d buy a better 18ft boat and put a lot less stuff on it. I would put the 36 volt TM. I’ve had a 36 volt TM since the day they came out in the mid 90’s.
Can never have too much trolling motor. I want to put a 36v with spot lock on my 16x42 alum with a 30hp 2stroke. But I don't really want to spend the money for the lithium batteries. Conventional would be too much weight. She runs real good and is balanced right the way she is. I could only imagine how strong that motor would be on a 750lb narrow alum boat with about a 9 or 10 inch draft. Lol it would probably plane the fucker out
I ordered my 18 pro 2022 with the 175 mercury and in basically stock with my color, cover , upgraded wheels with spare I have had it up to 65.5 mph until the mercury learned it’s trim limit . I went with the pro because with the base model would have been more money to put what the pro has and my opinions p.s come down to tn and we can fish Chickamaga lake
I paid 34,500 for my 2018 z18 when I bought it new off the lot at Foothills Marine in Morganton NC. With 2 HDS 9 Gen 3s and upgraded to the 175 and the tandem axle trailer. Insane that the price is so much higher now.
I'm just glad I got my 2022 nitro z19 pro last year with a 200 merc lowrance hds 9 at console and bow 3 batteries with a ghost trolling motor dual axle trailer on 18s for 54 thousand and I think it's the best investment I've made on a very nice boat I could literally sell it and make a good profit on it but I like it too much to sell it
There is an issue with the on off switch. There is a huge delay when I let off the switch and the motor keeps spinning for about 3 or 4 seconds more. Especially when the motor was turned to max speed. Other than that it has worked well. Warranty from lowrance
Know I am comparing apples and oranges but....my boat is a ranger rt188, 115 proxs, 2018, bought new for 25k. Dealer gave me 6k for my 1971 ranger 375v with johnson 150. Not as good in rough water but that 4 stroke is sweet.....
Another great vid. my question is i live near the Upper Bay in Maryland, not sure if you are familiar with that body of water. it is a large body of water but where you fish is relatively shallow but when navigating across the bay it could get pretty nasty. Now taking this model this model the nitro Z-18 vs let's say an aluminum rig like the Vexus 1980 or tracker 195, would you highly recommend one over the other. Thanks
Wow! Thats a huge jump. I bought a 2020 Nitro Z19 off the floor at Springfield, MO and it was 46k out the door. I didnt add anything, just swapped all the gear from my old boat. For 70+ i would be looking elsewhere or at abigger boat.

My 2021 z19 pro didn’t come with a auto bilge so my live well pumps failed and filled my boat with water it almost sank, tournament ready boat will sink at the ramp in a rain storm of course I fixed the problem but should be standard 🤔 some questionable issues with the boat
If you're swapping out all the electronics and the trolling motor, you might as well start with the regular Z18 and save 5 grand up front. And screw a galvanized trailer, go aluminum.

I keep looking at new boats, and keep coming to same conclusion as you.... the base model boat is affordable, but by the time you rig it, it's a money pit. My bass boat is 12 years old, and I've upgraded just about everything in it over the past 3 years. It's all paid for, and I have maybe $25K in it total. That includes Solix graphs, a 36v Ultrex and 250HP motor. It floats,.and when I turn the key, it runs. Every time.

Not for nothing but I have to imagine most people buying an 18’ bass boat are looking for a good value to get them on the water and fishing. The stock package that comes on that boat is pretty good and I’m not a Lowrance guy. This vid tried to make an 18’ value based boat into a tournament rig so of course it’s way over priced. Buying it off the floor as is, is actually a great value for the weekender that just wants to go fish. Btw I’m also not a nitro guy either.

I want to upgrade from my aluminum boat and I'm looking at all options. I only fish local tournaments and don't need a 21' boat. Why would you order a Pro only to take everything off and add different things? Potiental 18' boat owners wouldn't load a boat up this way. This is an unrealistic build. The Z18 pro for $44,500 is a good deal.....Under rated!
All glass boat OVER/UNDER builds are the same! Also it doesn't matter if it's a PRO model of not in the end. All unused equipment gets credited back in our final tally. You know that this unrealistic build has been done hundreds of times across America. Haha Hell we have 14' flat bottom guys with 20k in graphs, TM and other accessories while there 1978 Evinrudes barely run! Haha Some people are just silly! The base price ain't so bad in reality but it was 10K cheaper 2-3 years ago.

I think it was way more than 5k. I priced a z20 in April at 57k but couldn't order I went back in July and checked again and I lost all the options of what I could get for trolling motor and electronics because of availability and it was 87k.
Boat brands are like cars & trucks. Like a brand or hate a brand. This channel and followers just hate Nitro. I took my boat to a marine mechanic to install a Garmin trolling motor and asked him about Nitro boats and told him about this channel. He showed me a new $80,000 bass boat with fiberglass problems that wasn’t a nitro I can’t remember the brand. He claims a nitro is as good as any other. They all have their own issues .

Killing me with the single axle trailer thing, I just bought a 2022 Lund 1875 renegade dual console w/115xs 2 - 12”garmin , force tm . Lundgaurd spray floor with all marine mat. No carpet , no wood. All for 49.8k but on a single axle with freaking 13” tires wtf , I don’t even know if I can fit 14” under the damn fenders , makes no sense , boat is to really light . But still come man.
All said and done they would come out to relatively the same price anyways because we credit back all of the gear that we do not use that come with the package
100%... 5 to 7 years down the road. People will be over under on these boats. You're looking at 130k to 150k for bass boats in the near future. I think people need to look into the future of boat prices. The average Joe won't be able to afford a boat. You say buy used, but used boats will be 60k to 70k or more. This is crazy. Everything is overpriced right now. I sold my 10 year old snowmobile last year for 70% of its new value. It was worth way lest 5years ago. The new replacement was more then double my 2010.

i think NITRO needs to reevaluate their brand. fiber glass they're okay but not worth that much to invest in. i got my 2017 Xpress pro 18 used with a 7-inch hummingbird at the bow, 9-inch lowrance at the console with the right blinker trim, 80lb motorguide xi5 with a 115 yamaha and still got a way better deal than that crap!

i think NITRO needs to reevaluate their brand. fiber glass they're okay but not worth that much to invest in. i got my 2017 Xpress pro 18 used with a 7-inch hummingbird at the bow, 9-inch lowrance at the console with the right blinker trim, 80lb motorguide xi5 with a 115 yamaha and still got a way better deal than that crap!

Some guys like them. As far as ride they are probably okay but the materials and build quality just aren't up to par.
