- HELLO I am inflicting my totk brainrot on all of you. Dragon's Tears questline is bonkers I cannot believe nintendo did that. For more details on the story if you haven't played totk/don't care about spoilers, I wrote down some of the context for what's happening in the video later in the description!
I started making this before I beat the game, so I was in PEAK mourning for my girl zelly. shes been through too much nintendo let her take a nap pls!!

The characters in this video are Link, Zelda, and the Light Dragon, from the game The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom!!
The story is that Princess Zelda gets eebie deebied to tens of thousands of years in the past. She needs to fix/heal a sacred blade for her knight, Link, for him to have a chance at defeating the Demon King who threatens their world in the present; to do so, she turns herself into an immortal dragon and carries the blade for thousands of years in order to deliver it to Link. However, becoming a dragon means sacrificing her mind, memories, and sense of self. Link searches for her in the present, and eventually learns the truth of what became of the Princess.

I did all the memories in order and figured out the twist when Mineru started expositing in the third memory. I know narrative too well, they wouldn't have told us the consequences if no one ended up doing it during the story. I still absolutely BAWLED during the last two Dragon's Tears. I didn't care if Zelda is a fictional character, that is my GIRL and she SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PUT HERSELF THROUGH HORRIBLE THINGS.
Also, appreciate that you tucked silent princesses into the mane. I did the same first time I got up there after getting confirmation.
I did the memories in order too! For some reason, when Mineru was explaining draconification, I was CONVINCED the light dragon was gonna be Sonia?? I think I just didn't wanna believe they'd dragonify my girl 😭 though as I played through and found more memories, I was getting more and more convinced that it was actually zelda. And after I started the quest for finding the master sword and saw it was moving (and therefore with a dragon), it was the final nail in the coffin for me and I couldn't deny it any longer lol
and YES she deserves those flowers!! I wonder how many people put them in her mane after they find out haha
I finished this quest just recently... I actually gasped when I realized what had happened. 😥😥 So sad... You're very talented btw! An impressive pmv. 😊
Sniffle... I'm not afraid to admit I started crying when she cried 😭 this was SO GOOD!! That feeling of utter despair and desperation that had Link knelt over... poor little guy deserves a break after all this :'(
Nintendo should make a like- "intermission" game about Link taking a break and enjoying the spoils of saving the world

AAAAAAAA I'M CRYING YOU CAPTURED THIS EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER OF A QUEST LINE SO WELL!! And HOW did you manage to add so much detail to the dragon and also animate it, that's incredible. She looks just as fuzzy as in-game aughhhh
Poor Link has definitely gone through way too much. He just needs a really big hug. I felt it when he curled up in that last frame aaaaaaaa why can't we sleep in the dragon's mane??
can I also add that that tear drop animation was so CRISP??
I love your artstyle so much and just how you've portrayed the scenes, this is absolutely gorgeous and once again melts my heart in sorrow, I swear I will never get over this scene and you have captured it so well
WAAAAAAAAH THIS IS SO GOOD!!! totk (and this questline/zelda’s arc in particular) reawakened all of my sleeper agent zelda brainworms so I understand COMPLETELY where this came from HDJSHDH I love your art so much already seeing these guys in your style is so :] that last shot in particular is STUNNING well done!! (and the hands reaching are easily a second favorite ;~;)

Fun fact: you can catch a ride when you finish the Quest line by Teleporting to the Tarrey Town shrine and gliding from there. Gotta hurry tho😌
Tears of the Kingdommmmmmm aaaaaa also omg this is so sad. I haven’t gotten past the Frox yet in the depths so I haven’t gotten too far, I need to hurry it up so I can get to this quest.

No spoilers for the final boss!! I actually started this before I even beat the game, so as long as you finished all the geoglyph tears+the one after finding them all, there should be no spoilers!
